  1. All sorted, the only thing I can't do is add overlays to twitch so that when people sign in to stream they can choose one to use ☹️ It's just a simple spinning logo in the top right hand corner and a web cam in the bottom left. Can anyone let me know what the font is for the forum logo, I've found one that looks perfect for streaming horror games 🙂
  2. Why thank you kind sir.
  3. Holy crap that's amazing, gutted they don't do uk ☹️
  4. Happy Rabbit Days! I've got a free 4 days, so i plan on making enough videos to last me the rest of the year Probably also go for a kick about in the park on Saturday, followed by some drinks. Hope everyone has a lovely break!
  5. FFS are people able to do anything without fucking something up They'll have it sorted soon enough, my main issue is.....has bastion been nerfed yet?
  6. Nice! I'm signed up
  7. Was thinking about this last night, have you tried taking your elgato or mixamp out of the equation and plugging straight into your computer? I think you'd probably want to try removing the audio cable from the elgato as there's no point in you loosing your mixamp if you can help it.
  8. My idea didn't work either haha Like the others have said, those are some pretty sweet diagrams.
  9. God damn it Lee! 😄 Looks so so much fun, can't wait to pick this up!
  10. @Greboth Ahh misread your last post then, that's great that there's an option to record to a separate file. It sounds like the easiest way to do it would be to plug a separate mic into your computer and just make sure you talk into that too. The way I understand it is there's no way to also record your voice when using a mixamp, I'm not even sure if my Bluetooth will work but sounds like it will. When I'm plugged into my controller, that overrides the Bluetooth so it doesn't switch on, by having it in my PC I think I cheats it so it has both Bluetooth and wired. The chat still goes through the elgato but my voice transfers via the Bluetooth dongle. I honestly can't believe it's that hard to push through your own voice as well as others but it's all input/outputs so who knows where it's not getting picked up. I hope this all works because I don't have a separate mic at the moment and would love to record something tonight.
  11. 7 Days to Die Console Patch 9 submitted, expect release next week APRIL 10, 2017 BY ANDREW NEWTON 2 COMMENTS The Fun Pimps and Telltale Games have submitted Patch 9 for their zombie survival game 7 Days to Die Console Edition through to Microsoft and Sony. This latest patch will be Version 1.0.12.0 on the Xbox One and Version 1.12 on the Playstation 4. Once again this patch is one huge bug fixes update. I know there are lots of you out there who, having watched PC playthroughs, want all the new content in Alpha 15 and the upcoming alpha 16 and I can understand that but I’m happy they are fixing the bugs they have got rather than adding content on top of bugs. However, Claire from The Fun Pimps also posted this on the patch notes, “Oh wait… hang on, I can tell you there are new features coming soon and I should have more details in the coming weeks! Sorry I don’t have much more than that right now. Will do another announcement when I know more.” With the prospect of new features what’s not to be excited about? The full list of bug fixes in Patch 9 are as follows: Gameplay * BEWARE OF DOGS! We fixed a bug that was preventing them from reaching top speed * Fixed an exploit that allowed players to steal owned minibikes * Fixed an exploit that allowed players to duplicate minibikes and any items in their shopping baskets * Fixed an exploit that allowed players to duplicate items using campfires * Fixed an issue that would cause a client to spawn with an empty inventory if the network disconnects during their first attempt to join a session * Fixed an issue that would cause a held minibike chassis to become stuck in the world when the player quit * Fixed an issue that caused the minibike’s light to turn off when it was hit * Fixed an issue causing falling debris to destroy iron bars placed on their side * Fixed an issue with animal hide leg armor that allowed it to be equipped on top of other leg armor and become unequippable * Fixed an issue that was causing windows to rotate 90 degrees when upgraded to iron * Fixed an issue that prevented storage boxes from being rotated * Fixed an issue that would cause wooden signs to be doubly placed when placed on a supply crate * Fixed an issue that prevented wooden signs from being written on in single player after being written on in Split-Screen Art/Audio * Fixed an issue that prevented fire sounds from playing when zombies were burning * Fixed an issue that prevented some biomes’ ambient SFX from playing * Fixed an issue that would cause the panting SFX to continue playing even if stamina was replenished * Fixed an issue where the player wouldn’t animate from another player’s perspective when shooting with the Wooden Bow * Fixed an issue that was causing the sneaking status icon to remain on the screen after death * Lowered volume of SFX associated with canceling an item in the crafting queue * Fixed an issue that prevented the Auger and Chainsaw idle SFX from playing when switching between them * Fixed an issue where picking up and dropping items in the backpack and toolbelt would occasionally cause some UI overlap * Fixed an issue that caused the horn sound to play over and over on the minibike when trying to access it while not being the owner System/Stability * Fixed a crash that would occur when a player would quit out of a split-screen multiplayer game while a player in the game was on a minibike * Fixed an issue that would cause items to vanish if the Host disconnected from an online multiplayer game while a client was attempting to move them into their inventory * Fixed an issue that was causing framerate spikes when Vault Doors would fall off On a different note, those of you who have experienced the heartbreak of an MD5 Error (AKA Terrain Rewriting) and discovered your base has reverted back to the original terrain will be pleased to hear that the developers have provided an update as to their progress with fixing them. You can read the full post at the 7 Days to Die Console forum here. Are you happy that the developers are prioritising bug fixes or do you want more content? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below… https://www.flickeringmyth.com/2017/04/7-days-to-die-console-patch-9-submitted-expect-release-next-week/
  12. Omg I loved this game! I'm pretty sure I'll be picking this up at some point.
  13. This looks like such a fun game, did I hear you say it might come to ps4 Phil?
  14. Can you add FG_Streams to the streaming section? Let me know if there's anything you need.
  15. They've taken us back to the days of having mates around and all playing together, no next gen console does this. The controllers are exceptional, they've done such a great job with them and the rest of the system. The small added bit on top of the controller makes all the difference. My only issue with the switch is the price of everything, it's a little bit too expensive at the moment. Especially as there aren't a lot of games out at the moment, I will admit there are some amazing ones on their way.
  16. I tend to use it before going out on a scavenging trip, that way the stuff gets made but doesn't fill up my inventory whilst out. Maybe the bullets thing is only on PC.
  17. I thought it was only the bullet casings you could make in the forge, along with the tips. Then you create the ammo in the work bench?
  18. You can't combine items yet but like Phil said it's a way of creating bullets. You can also just use it as another place to build things, if your standard one is full creating things, then use the work bench. I'm guessing they're hoping to update it at some point so that we can combine items but who knows.
  19. I've heard they're going to try and implement as much as possible from the PC but whether they'll be able to do that is another story. Phil's read up about it and knows more about it than me. Ladies and gentlemen.....Mr Phil
  20. Random Tip: You may find swimming pools in the back of some gardens, swim to the bottom of the deep end.
  21. I see what you mean but I can't stand having shite stamina, hate having a stop to catch my breathe all the time. The quality that you'll get early on will still be shite compared to what you get after day 100. That's another reason why there's almost no point in using weapons at the start, you need to build other skills up first.
  22. No idea what happened there....
  23. Skills and Perks: Skills and perks are obtained by doing things in the world or spending your skill points. Skills/perks can either be 1 skill point or 10 skill points at a time. I've start by noting down my top ten skills/perks that i think are best for upgrading first, along with some graphs to show you the benefits of upgrading them. Apologies for my graphs, i hate spreadsheets. Top ten: 1. Miner 69'er - is a perk that increases your block damage and decreases your stamina degradation when hitting blocks while using Mining Tools. I'd say this is one of the most important perks you can upgrade from the start, as having to stop every so often to regain stamina can get very annoying but you will need to have your mining tools to a certain level before you can upgrade this. Below is a graph of the increase when you upgrade. 2. Mining Tools - This is one of the skills in the game, you can improve you mining tools by either using tools to collect resources or you can spend skill points on them. You also need to increase this to certain levels to be able to upgrade minor 69'er. Below is a graph of the multiples per level. 3. The Survivor - Slows your metabolism so you don't need to eat as often and gain more wellness from everything you do! 4. Run Forest Run - Running uses 10% less Stamina per rank. Very important to rank this up. 5. The Camel - Slows you thirst so you don't have to drink as much. If you can find a water source straight away, you could hold off this for a little while but you will be drinking quite regularly. 6. Sexual Tyranosaurus - is a perk that increases your stamina gain with each level it is increased. A very useful perk in the early game, as there is a lot of running around to do, especially at night evading zombies. It works very well with the Run Forest Run perk for exploring and not having to stop to regain stamina so often. Each leveling up you do gives you an extra 20% in stamina gain. 7. Scavenging - Each skill point spent on this will increase your chance of finding good loot. I'd mix this in whilst upgrading the other main perks. 8. Steel Smithing - This perk gives your character the ability to craft various steel items. This is a seriously important perk, steel tools are way better than anything else you'll use. 9. Athletics - Upgrading this means a slower drain of Stamina and an increase in the duration the survivor can hold his breath. 10. Health Nut - This will increase your minimum and maximum wellness. Your athletics must be up to a certain level to upgrade this. There are others that can be useful, but for when you're first starting off, these to me are the most important.
  24. Grown man walks out after being beaten....by children. 😂😂 You know what it's like. You do the prep, you measure everything, you charge the cordless drill and then you line it all up so that set of shelves you're putting up are just about the perfect example of DIY handiwork this side of a B&Q advert. Except of course you don't. They're wonky. And there's brick dust coming from the wall. And someone next door is screaming. Well, imagine that times 10. Or 25. That's what this man felt after his lovingly constructed robot was beaten on Robot Wars.....By a team of children. The man, called Ant, was captain of Team Behemoth. He was apparently angry his team had opted for a new grabber weapon rather than a tried-and-tested scoop set-up. He later said: “Putting a grabber of that type onto the robot for a critical match was a very poor decision. The main reason I walked out was that I was so annoyed with the rest of the team for making the decision not to go with a guaranteed win with using a scoop has proven that sometimes innovation doesn’t pay out. Sometimes it’s best to use what you know works.” Either way, not the most gracious moment in TV history. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/item/eb0fce0a-e47c-4d22-8a95-e61e829e0897
