  1. . . . you might be on to something Steve. for me: anything Marvel. Guardians 2, Spider-Man Homecoming, Thor Ragnarok. there's also a movie coming out called Justice League which i'll see, but i'm looking forward to it the same way i look forward to a dentist appointment.
  2. it should have been one bad movie, but they went for the money grab and made two bad movies. i honestly have no recollection as to why i streamed them; there was zero J-Law boobies in this series. it was probably because it was free and i was stoned.
  3. lol'd. i got nothing. the only Canadian-related alternative i can think of is CripplerCrossface, but i'm sure it's already taken and it's probably best to not talk about Chris Benoit.
  4. i feel like you're way too old to have numbers in your name. how about MapleMerican.
  5. but seriously, welcome back. maybe . . . maybe don't search the forum for your name. who knows what's been said over the years. glad to hear all is well. [i think this is a repost, could've sworn i posted this yesterday but maybe it got deleted? didn't think it was that racy but whatevs haha.]
  6. meh, we don't know much about it either but somehow we're in GREAT shape. on topic: good show; love me some Kiefer. just heard they're doing a 24 reboot(?)/spinoff(?) without him.
  7. i think i was gonna post to one of the threads that got canned about this -- just a random question that might not need its own thread. seems to be a lot of forum interest in this game (for good reason based on what i've seen). i know it might be hard to gauge at this point, but are most folks going to be playing on PS4 or Xbone? thanks.
  8. you're a good dude, that sounds like a lot of work.
  9. i've always been partial to "Docwagon." good luck with the titties. also what are "switched on cops?"
  10. anonymous comic book clerk, i salute you. solid season all around. Kingpin's all-too-brief involvement really reinforces how important he is to the show -- most interesting character they have IMO.
  11. http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/03/30/472415949/egyptair-hijacking-unstable-man-faces-extradition-a-selfie-explained?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=npr&utm_term=nprnews&utm_content=20160330 that saddest part of this story is that this twat didn't get slapped. full disclosure: i'm just posting because i really wanted to call someone a twat.
  12. it just honestly makes me sad. the guy's unwilling to educate himself on his own grandson, and as a result he'll never know how truly fucked up his attitude is. smh. sorry you have to deal with that shit, dude.
  13. i'm wondering if he could've meant Star Wars? weird how it kind of applies to both franchises in a way (although i didn't see similarities with Rocky IV and Creed at all tbh).
  14. just go easy on the garlic butter. not that i would follow my own advice, you know, just saying. sometimes i think they invented crusts for garlic butter, not the other way around.
  15. ^^ great movie, one of my favorites from last year. you'll enjoy it in spite of yourself and the subject matter -- they even bring in "special guests" to help explain some of the complexities. what made it extra appealing was that going into it you're familiar with all the names involved, but everyone's doing something slightly different than what you're used to seeing them do. Brad Pitt's this schlubby one-note character who isn't constantly stealing the show, Carell's character couldn't be farther from Brick Tamland or Michael Scott, and Gosling is straight up funny. Adam McKay (director) is probably the most surprising . . . it must've been a long road from Anchorman to this, and now i can't wait to see what his next movie will be. basically you could take any name involved in this project and sell the movie to someone by saying "Featuring ___________, like you've never seen him before!" and it would be true. surprisingly good stuff.
  16. well. guess i'm glad i didn't make any weekend plans.
  17. Doomsday = Batman v Superman, Colossus = Deadpool #nerdcred
  18. well i just lost my goddamned mind. the spidey suit -- so retro and modern at the same time. this looks like it has potential to be the best Marvel movie so far.
  19. ah, a last little "thank you" from Mdub. screw you too, buddy.
