Dan Amrich, Activision's community manager, said on Twitter today to post all suggestions and feedback on the official forums at callofduty.com. They are looking at what the community has to say.

That makes sense. Personally it doesn't really matter to me cause I never minded if they brought back old maps.

I like how Treyarch reskins old maps and its awesome but IW does it and they're lazy.

Theater caused lag, plus both next gen consoles have built-in recording capabilities so it wasn't really needed any more.

It says mine is incompatible too, though its pretty new as well. I've got Android 4.1.2 so there's no reason I shouldn't be able to use it.

As far as I understand it they're using the hybrid system on all platforms, current and next gen.

I think you just described every online shooter ever. It's not the game's fault that randoms suck.

CoD's twitter feed linked to it yesterday (I couldn't download it because my phone is somehow incompatible) but today it's nowhere to be found. They may have taken it down to fix it.

IGN is saying that to unlock Extinction you just have to play the first campaign mission or a few rounds of MP.

That's probably why it got replaced. They know SnD is a very popular mode so they wouldn't just take it out for no reason.

I imagine they'll bring it back if Search and Rescue isn't received well after people actually try it.

PS4 copies of the game are available. Mine is staring at me from my shelf, taunting me for the next ten days. (I was going to do PS3 then upgrade but changed my mind)
