Ended up getting this done on Conquest on Metro. Had the other team pinned in their spawn so I got out the mortar and lit them up. It felt so wrong, but any dirty tactic is acceptable as long as you're trying to complete an assignment, right?

I'll be surprised if this turns out to be true. SH will want to get off to a strong start and have something new to be known for.

I especially agree with taking out K/D as a stat. Without it, there's no reason at all to killwhore instead of playing the objective. Or have it tracked only in TDM, which is the only place it matters.

Dunno, that's how they described it.I do, but I like them for them to work properly. BO2 was unplayable for me due to lag issues. Game itself was fine, nothing special, but it was broken. BO1 had numerous technical woes as well, plus I found it to just be boring.

I may give Sledgehammer's game a look, see what they can do. Hopefully they'll go through with their "action adventure" CoD cause that would be different. Definitely not wasting my money on Black Ops 3 though.

Yup, IW, 3ARC, and SH each get two years per game now. Edit: Three years actually. SH in '14, Treyach in '15, IW in '16. Then back to SH in '17 et cetera.

They're already working on their next game. The point of adding another developer to the cycle is to allow more time for each game.

See, I think the maps in Ghosts are the best we've had since MW2.I agree about the unlock system. I love the gameplay in Ghosts, but I'm getting kinda bored of it and find myself going back to BF3. Part of it is that I really enjoy the challenge and progression of unlocking stuff. That's partly why I found BO1 so boring, I think, just kills the fun when you don't have to work for anything. (I know you had to level up for guns and perks, but as far as attachments and camos it was dull.)

Wait, you're saying that Conquest large on Metro is the same map as normal Conquest? Remind me to stay as far away from that mess as possible when/if I get it.

Ah, Rush on Metro sounds perfect. Plenty of camping snipers in the first area, both on offense and defense

Unfortunately Dom isn't an option on BF3 as it's only available on Close Quarters. May try attacking in Rush, surely there will be some camping snipers to rain death on,

I'm trying to complete an assignment to get some LMG or other, which requires two mortar kills. I got one on the first shell I fired and have been unsuccessful getting another one, even on stationary targets. Is there something I'm missing or does it just take some blind luck?

It can, but you have to have it plugged in.Tried to play a couple games tonight, but not much luck. Got two good games, two hacked lobbies, and one game with a hacker using some kind of aimbot. He never missed, even a single bullet and at extreme range. It was on Afghan, and one kill on me he was looking up at the cliff then suddenly spun toward the cave and killed me the instant I ran inside. I did take him out once though, good old SPAS to the face

Which proves what exactly? So 30 or 40 people don't like Ghosts. What's your point?Whether it's been said outright or not, the general tone of this forum is "we think this way so everyone else must too."

I'm not speaking for the whole community, but you guys think that you do. Read what you just wrote. You're doing exactly that, saying that because you're bored of the game everyone else must be too. Yet the sheer number of people who still play CoD proves that many, many people still enjoy the game.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You guys keep going on about CoD being the the same every year. Got a little secret to share...it's supposed to be the same! The formula works. People love CoD, and they buy it every year precisely because it's the same. If you change it too much you risk losing customers, who buy your game because they know what to expect from it. I think sometimes you guys forget that just because you all feel a certain way doesn't mean the community as a whole feels that way.
