    I was playing MW3 last night to knock off the rust for Ghosts tonight. Did better than expected so I'm ready to roll.

    It's been DXP for MW3 and BO2 for the past week, not sure when it ends.

    Asymetrical doesn't necessarily mean unbalanced. I hope they shook things up, maps tend to be boring if they don't.

    Cranked doesn't interest me but Blitz looks like a lot of fun. Hadn't heard of Grind yet but it sounds like Headhunter from Halo (where you had to grab the skulls) which is always a riot. Hunted looks very interesting too. I wouldn't be surprised if they rotated in other new and old modes, they've done it before.

    I hope so too, CoD maps are getting too small. It needs small maps but some sniper-friendly maps would be sweet too. MW2 had an awesome mix of maps.

    Some new info: You'll be able to upgrade and customize your ship, though you won't actually be flying it. PC version is a possibility, though don't expect it anytime soon.     I don't think you'll need to beat the campaign to play it. IW had a tweet today asking what people will play first with hashtags for SP, MP, Squads, and Extinction. You can't play it first if you need to finish the story.

    I'd like to see some throwbacks from CoD 4. And Favela. Nothing from MW3 really sticks out as one that I'd like to see again.

    I really enjoyed the Modern Warfare campaigns so I'm excited for this one. Gonna play it once I upgrade so I can experience it with pretty graphics

    I suspect that most people will find it more annoying than helpful and will turn it off. I'm sure we'll still have people being stupid with it but it really shouldn't be that different from a head glitch.

    ^And that's why I'll give the full release a try, cause I understand that the beta probably has issues (technical, balance, etc). I hope you're right, I really really do. I'm just not willing to risk $60 on it given my personal experience with the beta.

    I should clarify that my comments referred *only* to the BF4 beta. I loved BF3 which is why I had such high hopes for 4.

    Based on my experience with the beta (which, arrogant as it sounds, is the only one that's important to me right now), kill times are much too low and gunfights are all about reflexes rather than skill. What I was "actually looking at" was the core gameplay, not the bells and whistles. I fully plan on renting it and really hope the release version is as awesome as I hoped it would be. After the beta though, I'm not willing to actually buy it until I get proof that it's different.

    I decided to go with Ghosts after seeing that BF4 is just CoD with vehicles, which IMO is really dumb. 64 player CoD doesn't sound very appealing either.

    I know BF4 for next gen releases before the new consoles so it wouldn't surprise me if CoD does the same.
