  1. The whole point of Bitcoin is to get away from the current banking system, not pander to it. There are also about 40 different cryptos available, which can all be mined and traded, all hopig to steal a piece of the Bitcoin pie. Some are silly, some are scams, and some are actually trying to be successful. These aren't governed by some secret order, lizard men or the illuminati. These are currencies which are started up by average joes like you and me. There is a reason why banks and governments are against the crypto revolution, and why some banks are trying to put a patent on them so they can take charge and regulate them. The price of Bitcoin is fairly stable at the moment which is irritating because I trade them. I expect them to go up and down by factor of 5 so I can make massive amounts of them. Bloody things. I honestly believe that this is the future, and I honestly hope it's going to make me rich.
  2. HAHAHAHA Man I miss playing with you lot. Someone buy me a PS4 pl0x. Kthnxbai.
  3. Euan in SORE LOSER shocker.
  4. SNIPER!!!!!!!!! Seriously, learn to use the recon class. Once you are proficient at it, it's a game changer. Literally. The sniper rifle is probably the weakest piece of kit in your arsenal, tactically. Use C4. Use your spotter thingy. These are massive helps to your team. Headshots are great fun too, but don't even think about centering your scope. Simply learn to adjust for bullet drop, there's nothing more frustrating that calculating bullet drop with your range finder, when you can simply aim at the right distance above a head and get a head shot. It becomes second nature. Use your range finder to lock on. If you have an engineer or two on your team who use rockets, they'll fire at whatever you're locked on to. If you just stand there looking like a tool and nobody shoots at your locks, then swap to something else. //all the above comments are regarding conquest. That's all I play.
  5. Because you're running a graphics card at 100% load all the time. Having said that, I unloaded all my coins and bought an MSI R9 290 Gaming Edition. It gets almost triple what I was getting with my 770. I did at one point have both cards singing in harmony in my system, but the 770 was hitting 96deg. on the chip. Not healthy. I've undervolted the 290 slightly to reduce the heat and consumption, and I'm still getting about 860k/hash per second, whereas the 770 wouldn't go over 330 no matter what I tried. I also have a script which trades automatically for me, and makes a little bit of profit every time it kicks in. It runs every 5 minutes and takes transaction fees into account so unless there's enough of a gap in the market to make a profit, it remains dormant. This morning, it made a few trades which put me 0.01BTC in profit, which as of right now is about $10. Not bad for a bit of software code which I don't touch. I will say that this is a hobby. It's not a case of plug in and get money, it requires some time and dedication to set it all up, and that's assuming you have the necessary kit. Once it's running however, it's pretty much cash in the bank. My new graphics card cost me nothing, although I did pay for the electricity out of my regular bank account. As it stands right now, I'm making about £60 a month in profit after my electric is paid. The whole cryptocurrency scene is booming and very interesting but don't expect to hop in and go. It takes tons of research, tons of time, and tons of patience. I'm at the point now where I can fire up my miner and run a profit immediately, but it's taken me almost two months to hit this point. It's great fun. I really enjoy doing this. If anyone has any questions please ask, I'll explain the answers as best I can.
  6. Once you guys have redeemed your codes please drop a little message in here to say they worked, and if they don't, let me know. Some of them came from a site that... well, looks professional, but once I made the purchase they sent me photos of codes. It's almost as if they took the order and then sent someone shoplifting!
  7. Rottweilers or German Shepherds. These are used by many forces for a reason. My parents bred Shepherds when I was a kid, awesome dogs, very loyal but prone to hip issues later on in life. Can't comment too much on Rotties, only ever had one and it was awesome.
  8. Well isn't it ironic that when I finally get time to do this, I'm at work! Ok, so here are the whiners winners! UK PSN: Madjonny UK PSN: Tronic44 UK XBL: JBR-Kiwi USA PSN: Kylebees USA PSN: Tigerburge USA XBL: Spectre USA XBL: PlayerTD Well done chaps, apologies for the hyooj delay but hey ho! I'll be sorting out the codes right now, so check out your PMs for them. I'll also be dishing out some Steam gashnizzle over the next few days, so stay tuned!
  9. Steve that's insane! I love how you used shadows to give the impression of more depth. Very, very clever! I might hire you to clean my pool decorate my living room one day.
  10. That's a fair amount of stuff. If you can juggle accounts, click here. It's actually amazing how much free storage you can get online.
  11. Sentences? I see no sentences here, only words!

They get a little steering wheel blinking above their head, and on the minimap.
  13. So Scotland got their independance then?
  14. Loading up IFVs with C4 and ramming them into tanks is awesome. As you can probably tell from this post and the ones in the help thread, I have a fetish for blowing shit up.

Oh and one more thing, stay the fuck away from TDM if you're still new. It's a fuckup at the best of times, made considerably worse if you don't know the maps. Also, avoid 64 player servers until you're comfy with the maps. 32 is more than enough onthese maps to still provide decent action without being blown apart after taking ten steps. The smaller the server, the longer you'll survive, the faster you'll get to know the maps.
  16. What a dumb idea. Do you really want to look back on your life and go "I spent the longest time playing a videogame"? Don't do it Dylan. AND USE SOME FUCKING PUNCTUATION!!!!!!

Further to what's already been said, engineer class is by far the most fun for me, followed by recon. Here are a few tips. Apologies if some of this has been mentioned, I haven't read through everything. Engineer: Tank mines and the anti air launcher. MX4 or whatever it's called. Stick to close range, that default gun is a monster. Tank mines in choke points, and shoot anything that flies (choppers preferred). Be warned of scout choppers with repairbitches, you won't be able to get them down yourself. If a chopper has repairbitches in it and you get a hit on it, it'll be back at 100% health before you can blink. Unless you co-ordinate a proper attack with some others, forget abot them and ignore them. They're a known pain in the ass and it a constant point of contention on the BF4 forums as they're frustrating as fuck to deal with. The launchers come ina a few different flavours. The first one has a small bit of lock on, but this is more of a guide than an actual lock. Great against ground vehicles, forget about trying to hit anything that flies with them. The next two launchers are much more powerful, each has a bit of a different perk though. They both only fire at flying targets unless a recon has a lock on a tank or whatever. The first will lock on, you fire, and that's that. It has a lock on range of 300m. The second one you have to maintain lock. So lock on, fire, and stay locked on until you hit, or the missile will stray off. The advantage of this one is either 50 or 100 mtrs more range, can't remember. I prefer the fire & forget one as I prefer not to stand in the heat of battle like a tit whilst I nurse a rocket to a chopper. Vehicles have ridiculously long flare reload times now, I think it's 15 seconds or something stupid like that. Use this to your advantage. Even if you don't have ammo as an engineer, forcing vehicles to pop their flares helps your team out, as someone else can lock on and pop their rockets. I can't remember the name of the rocket launchers, I'm sure someone will add them. I never really bother with repairing as an engineer unless working with someone. Odds are you'll start repairing a tank or whatever and the driver will bugger off halfway through, or if your'e repairing your own tank, it's not uncommon to have some prat jump in it and nick it. I prefer to play in a way that makes me as effective as I can be whilst being solo. Relying on team mates in this game will make you want to claw your eyeballs out. Recon: Recon is also great fun. Make sure you spot everything that you see, and also lock on using the zoomynightvisiony thing. Even if you're on a team that is all over the place, lock on a few times and see if any rockets appear. If they do, you know you've got an engineer somewhere on the team who's willing to fire at locks so keep locking. If not, then forget about it. I personally don't bother centering my scope. I am fairly good at adjusting for bullet drop, especially at medium ranges. A bit of practice here. I find zeroing my scope a fiddly process which leaves me vulnerable to attack whilst I'm sorting it all out, and I have to keep adjusting for encounters at different distances. I just aim a bit above their head an shoot. With enough practice, you will get better at this. One line of sight I will share which is simply awesome is on Flood Zone. Odds are you've always got those idiots who sit on the roof tops and try snipe people. If you hold down D (the petrol station) then you can face the buildings from the station and hide fairly well. Nothing beats shooting those dumbasses off those buildings and watching their corpses fall 50 floors to the ground. NEVER CAMP ON ROOFTOPS / CRANES / SATELLITES / WHATEVER. Seriously. This is one thing I have never understood with these people. They're either extremely hopeful or just plain fucking stupid because every match they end up there as if to say "AMAGAD LOOK GUISE I FINDED THIS OSSUM PLACE WHERE WE CN SHOOT PPL LOL". Yeah, and the whole fucking battlefield can shoot you too, dumbass. You're not the first person to go up there, you're not discovering anything new, you're just being an idiot and your KDR usually reflects this. Personally, I get a huge kick out of shooting them. More often than not, you can set your watch to them being up there. Time and time again. The rage I've gotten from shooting the same people off the same spot over and over again is bliss. Of course recon now have C4 too. giggle giggle. This is great fun. Most tank drivers are aware of this though so you need to be extra careful when trying to blow them up. My approach is to take them out when they're pre-occupied with something else. If a tank is busy shooting at something, odds are he's in first person mode and focussed on whatever it is he's shooting at. This is when you strike. Also, NEVER shoot anything that's not silenced when near a tank as odds are they'll notice you and kill you, or at least move away so you can't C4 them. Basically, if you want to C4 a tank, you need to put on your stealth hat and only strike when he appears to be preoccupied with something else. It's risky but oh so fun. I'll leave it at that for now, will return later.
  18. Sup Nolan, welcome back dude!
  19. Just a heads up, the server went down permanently today. Unfortunately I wasn't getting any contributions and I'm not in the position to fund it myself or beg every time the bill needs to be paid, so I'm leaving it offline for the time being. Maybe when there's more demand I'll revisit this but I've simply got too much on my plate at the moment to worry about it. Sorry about that folks, we had a good run.
  20. PLEASE ADD YOUR COUNTRY SO I CAN MAKE SURE EVERYONE GETS THE RIGHT PRIZES! I know most of you but you know, I'm me
  21. Good to see you back here you miserable old bastard I hope you had a lovely festive season Steve, and here's wishing you a happy new year! OH! More photos of your aquariums pls. I was following that dammit!
  22. First of all, apologies for the delay in getting this sorted, it's been a bit of a busy week, but I've finally made it! A few side notes: Minecraft wasn't an option unfortunately. I didn't have tons of cash and that game would've been almost double what some of the others were. Steam codes are impossible to get hold of, so I'm going to offer up some games and dish them out. I'll use whatever's left of the budget to buy as many games as possible, so the PC guys don't get left out compared to the console guys. RIOT points are a bit dodgy. Loads of sites out there that look too dodgy to attempt and finding a reliable source would've taken much longer so I've had to miss out on that this year. I got one XBL Card for the UK and two for the US, as we seem to have more Xboxers over in the USA. There is also one more card for the USA as the exchange rate allowed for it and the US cards are worth slightly less. GAME takes a bit to sort their act out, so I'm waiting for that to go ahead before I start loading up on Steam games. All in all I've spent a shade over £86, which is everything I had in the FG Paypal account plus a bit from me. SO WHAT'S UP FOR GRABS? UK: 2x £10 PSN card UK: £10 XBL Card USA: 2x $10 PSN Card USA: 2x $15 XBL Card INTERNATIONAL: Various Steam games. I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!!!! Ok, so pick a prize and pick a number from 1-100 and reply down below. I'll let this run for a few days and then pick some numbers. The less people I leave out, the better, but that will obviously take a few days for folks to check in. IF YOU HAVE TWO SYSTEMS PLEASE PICK A PRIZE FOR EACH AND A NUMBER FOR EACH. I WILL LIMIT THIS TO ONE PRIZE PER PERSON BUT OBVIOUSLY MORE SYSTEMS MEANS A HIGHER CHANCE OF WINNING. PLEASE ADD YOUR COUNTRY SO I CAN MAKE SURE EVERYONE GETS THE RIGHT PRIZES! I know most of you but you know, I'm me Thanks for reading, thanks for making this place as awesome as it is, apologies once again for the delay and as always: STAY CLASSY FOREVER GAMING! I love you all!
  23. Cheers Tommy. I'm getting there, it's just a bit difficult at the moment cos I've got family over from saffrica and every time I touch my pc I get told to stop being an unsociable twat.
  24. Lovely, cheers Tommy. I'm just looking at where to buy these things, as it seems that RIOT doesn't sell them directly, and codes and vouchers and stuff over the internet is playing with fire really.
  25. In a fashion of lateness only I can achieve, I'm busy going through options and stuff and I have a few questions. Firstly, League of Legends. s it possible to buy champions or currency or what? Also, please respond with what you want. Some people have both PS3 and PC, so I need to know what people want. Last thing I want to do is give people stuff they don't want.
