This whole xpac is a flop. This isn't an expansion, it's a content patch. In fact, it's a patch of a content patch. I regret buying it, I really do. I'm already looking for something else to play, I just can't be arsed with this any more. The thing that got me the most is that if you want to do anything, you HAVE to be in a group. Most of the missions and new shit are all party stuff, and attempting to solo it is pointless. Ah well, Destiny was fun while it lasted. I'll still play it now and then as it's still a good game, and I'll also check out the next expansion given that I regrettably bought a season pass but ultimately I'll be looking elsewhere for my gaming kicks. I really hope Planetside 2 comes out on PS4 soon, that's an awesome game. Having seen the quality you can get from an expansion pack from WoW, this is a massive kick in the teeth. An expansion on there lasts for at least a year, with free content being added multiple times during that period. Granted you pay monthly for it, but I'd be more than happy to pay a sub for it, whereas here we get fleeced for fuckall content, more grindy bullshit, no rewards or challenges and more RNG, the stuff from which you get renders all your previously hard earned stuff useless. The kicker for me is that they're already working on Destiny 2. Seriously. Just. Fuck. Off.

Sorry to see you lay your ghost to rest mr owl but I can't blame you. This should've been a gradual overlap from vanilla to DB, instead it's a massive jump which renders your weapons underpowered amd the only way to fix that is either grind your nuts off and start upgrading them all again, or get lucky with new ones and start all over again with those. I also think the new content sucks. It's focussed too much on team play, which isn't always an option. Having nothing to do apart from wait in orbit until otjers finish their activities is boring, there should've been more to do solo, even if it's hard. Another thing is the lack of content. This is a real killer for me, even the majority of the new stuff is the same shit we've been doing for months just slightly different. No new models, no new baddies, the new weapons and armour are severely lacking, it's just a massive disappointment. I'm rapidly approaching the age old mentality of playing the game because of mates, not because of the game. I can't believe that people actually have the nerve to release such a mediocre content pack and charge us £20 for it. It's disgusting.

Well my main gift was going to be an Asus ROG Swift monitor, but I've seen endless reports of faults, returns being B grade monitors, people who have returned them no less than 10 times, shitty customer service from Asus, etc etc. For a £700 monitor, that's not a pill I was willing to swallow so it's gone back. I know I'm getting a Vita, that's about it, although my wife has put a billion gifts under the tree. It's rewarding to have a wife who loves you more than anything else on the face of the earth, trust me

I've got it too. It's a beast, second only to the ever elusive ice breaker. The only thing I don't like is that scoping in means you're zoomed in so far that you can see the hairs on an enemy's scrotum. Oh and the radar stays active whilst scoped in too. Excellent if you're a campy bitch in the crucible.

If only we had some way around that. I don't know, maybe a voice comms server completely independent from PSN, dedicated to voice and nothing else. One with more availability, perhaps useable by anyone regardless of platform, time of day or who's on. One where you can create channels for parties, games, consoles, etc etc. If only... Also, stretch check your phone ffs. I'm trying to peer pressure Phil into coming tomorra.

Passengers are facing widespread flight disruption after a computer failure at the UK's air traffic control centre. Nats confirmed a "technical problem" at its Swanwick control centre in Hampshire and said airspace remained opened but restricted. It said "every possible action" was being taken to resolve the issue. Heathrow reported delays and Gatwick said all its departing flights had been grounded. Other UK airports reported knock-on effects. At Heathrow Airport flights are "currently experiencing delays" and planes could be turned away Incoming flights to Gatwick are continuing to land and flights are now departing after being grounded earlier Stansted say it is currently working with Nats to find out how it will affect the airport One source told the BBC the problem was caused by a computer glitch that co-ordinates the flights coming into London and puts the flights in sequence as they come into land or take off. He described it as a "flight planning tool problem". Sauce? And here's a live map of the airspace above the UK.

Just got my first xmas pressie from a tree. A few things: I don't know if the tree grew lights or not, but it has them. It might be a new tree since the update, but none of the other old ones I had since before the update have lights or decorations on them. The tree grew a pressie next to it, not on the tree itself. The present gave me 5k elixir, it had no "build time" and didn't require a builder (all my builders are occupied and I could still loot it).

Great idea Mike I'm Dave or Diddums, 30 glorious years young from London, play on PS4 and PC, always up for a laugh, I play mostly Destiny but I play for mates, not for games, and as such I'll always follow the fun regardless of what shitty game people make me sit through.
