It's been an absolute madness the past 24 hours. I do feel quite sad really. Football that I grew up with has changed considerably and even if this doesn't go ahead, the ramifications will be massive. Those Champions League games that go down as classics are only that special because of their rarity. And the fact that any club can make a run in Europe given some luck adds to the allure of the current system. Think of Boro back in the 2000s, Fulham in 2010, Portsmouth hosting AC Milan at Fratton Park, Southampton, Birmingham and Wigan all having European tours. Brilliant, unexpected moments that fans of those clubs will treasure, but no, the directors and board members of these "Founding Clubs" have said let's just prevent anyone from entering OUR league on merit and suckle on the money teat together. Embarrassing.

I grabbed all ten in the end although I already have a few on PC. Bit annoying you have to initiate and then cancel the download to bind them to your account rather just add them manually. All done though and a great varied batch of games.

This game is so worth it. I encourage everyone to play it... and really pay attention to the lore collectibles. Some of them are actually amusing (instead of completely depressing)

Today is @TurboR56Mini 's birthday. For those not on Discord... and for those who have or have not been keeping up with the constant discussion of my "meat consumption" ( @Kemp210 and @Ajay and the rest of our raid team)... I give you photos of our dinner... after Carl told me to go to the store by myself to buy some steak... again. AND, he chose to have me cook both of them. Not one. BOTH OF THEM. (Oh, I typically buy it with the bone, but I didn't want our puppy to think she was getting a bone this time around)

Thanks for all the responses guys! @GazzaGarratt My partner has a PS4, but I'm predominantly on the Xbox or PC. Although having a scout through and seeing some of you guys enjoy GT Sport, I could be tempted to get that as I was a big fan of the old Gran Turismo games. @Baabcat I do believe we played a few times back in the day, Boro fan (or at least from up that way)? I play quite a variety of games still, quite FPS or sport/racing orientated generally. @IRaMPaGe I remember your name too, I was on the PS3 back then so I don't believe we ever crossed paths gaming-wise, but yeah good to see old faces still kicking it here. @ChaosGladiator Haha, yeah it's been a long while. Crazy to think it's almost 11 years since I started with guys from the forum, we'd be on every day back in those times. Like I said, mainly on Xbox now, with a bit of PC gaming, mainly CS:GO. Not played a CoD for about 6 years now! @Plumbers Crack A lot of FIFA, some Rocket League here and there, and I'm quite into my racing games too right now. Generally I can be persuaded to try anything out though and god knows I have a backlog of games waiting for me on my console!

The legality thing is a good point and not something I've heard much commentary on - do the PL have the right to kick them out (and if they do, do Sky have the right to reduce payments, for a reduced product?). Football is very much a house of cards - players contracts signed on the back of big TV money will need to be honoured and I guess this is why the big 6 think they can gamble and everyone else will just suck it up. I don't see this as anything like the PL starting - effectively that was the First Division becoming the Premier League, but with different people negotiating the TV rights. This has the potential to destroy the European football pyramid as we know it. Ultimately it will hurt the ESL teams as well, they dont get that relegation battles is the main interest for most clubs in any league, and without it you get loads of end of season kick abouts with nothing at stake, very dull TV I also wonder how far advanced the ESL are in TV rights talks - interesting to see Gary Neville going off on one on Sky Sports, when they are probably right in the thick of it. BTW I hate Leeds, but I loved the 'Earn it' shirts last night !

I would highly recommend GT sport. At the moment we have a league going and it's not to late and I think we will be doing another plus we do 3 races each Tuesday.

God I can't believe how much of a CoD fanboy I used to be, the old crew made it fun though, everyone spamming UAV's and a couple of us running the more attack minded killstreaks just to really screw the other team over. Good times! These days I've given up on CoD, after Ghosts it was one let down after the other and I stayed away from the games for a while until BO4 and Blackout was released, also played a good bit of Warzone before getting bored of that as well... I mainly play survival games now like Ark, Conan Exiles, DayZ and waiting on Rust's full release on the ps4.

If the three are expelled and Arsenal along with United and booted out the Europa, I can see managers like Tuchel and Klopp walking. Some players will certainly hand in transfer requests.

The lazy ginger was hand reared from one day old as he was found by one of our other cats and brought home. The other cat sometimes looks as though he has human lips. @Ajay wanted a thread where we could post pics of our pets... so I'm reviving this thread with our pups. We rescued them together. Mikey was all brains. Mimi is... as dumb as rocks. Mikey crossed the rainbow bridge 3 years ago. He was like a cat stuck in dog's body. He would wake me at 5AM on Saturdays and Sundays to go for adventures. He is also what I would call a sociopath.
