Anyone that knows me knows I'm not happy unless I have 50 different projects all going at the same time, so in addition to all the rod orders I'm working on, the big 265g tank project, and the zombie 3D project, I've also been working on this as well. If you remember one of my other hobbies are Bonsai trees, and with the cost of bonsai pots being so high I decided I wanted to make my own and have it looks like a real rock scene with the tree placed inside of a rock structure like "pot". Started out with cutting and siliconing three pieces of foam together Then cut out the first two layers of foam in the center section leaving the bottom layer as a base Carved/shaped and hit with the heat gun First coat of drylok. After the first coat dries then I will be going over the seams between the pieces with some body filler and smoothing those out so the seams are no longer visible. Then it'll be time to shade and highlight the rocks and seal it. I'll post more pics as I progress.

So I'm a few kills off my Gol Magnum service star and want to get it done. Go to TDM Rogue Transmission and found a perch on top of the portacabins. Get a few kills but keep hearing odd noises, so spin round still on my belly, and sure enough there's someone lying right behind me trolling away. I agree, especially now that they're more fucked up post patch. Many times I'm well out of line of sight, so I think, and fall over dead. Lol Or in the kill cam I can't figure out how the fucker even saw me let alone hit me from his position.

Never watched it, in fact apart from top gear I don't think I watch anything on the beeb well worth my TV tax!

@Kent ok i know i've been nerding out a lot in this thread but i'm glad you brought that up. to steal what my buddy said about it (we like to think we're film buffs), "if there was ever any remaining doubt that TV can do everything film can and more, True Detective just laid it to rest. but how, you ask? with a high-tension six minute extended take that went through an entire housing project and then over a frickin fence." i'm a big fan of these extended shots. Kubrick mastered them. Children of Men (Alfonso Cuaron) has a fucking ridiculous extended uncut chase sequence in a car with a 360 degree camera designed specifically for that shot. more recently, Gravity (Cuaron again) had a lengthy intro shot that was also uncut (although the illusion of no cuts was surely aided by some sly CGI work). seriously, i'm pretty sure the first, like, ten minutes of that movie is a single unbroken shot, which is why you're just immersed from the get-go. anyway, i lose my shit over sequences like this just thinking about how much rehearsal, technical marksmanship, timing, and general coordination they require with so many different moving parts. one person fucks up, it's back to a new take. i just respect the hell out of any director who attempts it, as the results are always really effective. People have sandy vaginas again. Before anyone accuses me of talking about them without mentioning names, you can't because I AM talking about you. This goes for Scipio, James, Bees, ME, Baabcat, Tiger, Paendrag and nearly every member here. I only name these names because they're fresh in my head. My point is we have sand firmly inside of our vagoo's and we need to apply some wet wipes to them or something. For instance CoD, Scipio has taken it personally that people are bashing the game because he still likes it. Kylebees had mentioned that some comments made about the CoD community "could" be taken personally but haven't been. I've had a private little bitch and moan just recently because no one watches my videos, they say they're awseome and brilliant but the views go back down to shit by the second video. FINALLY...just finished resealing the tank. I'm "mostly" happy with the reseal job so far, looks wise I would say passable but not perfect. Since this is my very first reseal though and its so dang big I guess it's not expected to be perfect. There's a few spots where there's some excess silicone that my finger pushed out too far because I did not use any tape. Since every seal in the tank will be covered by the 3D background though none of those spots worry me because they will not be seen anyway. Far as structural integrity of the reseal job (the important part) I am pretty confident it all went very well. I pushed the new silicone deep into the corners and laid some nice long beads without any spots that look suspect, so I believe it should be a pretty sound job hopefully. We'll find out in about 7-8 days I guess. Couple pics....
