So they put in Clan vs Clan, great, but it just seems Infinity Ward can't implement ANYTHING without it being half-assed, lazy and having an inkling of common sense. 3 issues I've already seen: 1. They don't give you a full game of DOM, they give you one-side. How is that meant to mirror Competitive play? That's just stupid. You SHOULD get a chance on both sides. 2. Join-in progress is on. Seriously? I just joined a game where we're down in DOM 3-50. And people leave constantly because there's no punishment for leaving. I haven't played one game without someone leaving after 1 minute. 3. The most stupid thing BY FAR, is not giving you a menu where you can amend your classes, you have to do in the lobby. This doesn't sound like the worst thing ever, but if your class includes any banned item (and there are a lot) then you can't use it and you have to use a default class. There's no warning, no informational message that there's restricted perks, guns, equipment and attachments, NONE. If you don't know the eSports restrictions before you start then there's a good chance you won't be able to use one of your own classes (as IEDs are banned, 99% of randoms are having to use default class). Here's some basic info for you, if you want to know more, just ask. Restricted stuff... Guns MSBS All Marksman Rifles Riot Shield Attachments Tracker Sight Grenade Launcher Burst Fire/Single Fire Rapid Fire Perks Recon Gambler Ping Amplify Stalker Dead Eye Danger Close Strike Package Specialist only, no Support or Assault. Game modes are Blitz, Domination and Search and Destory. Maps are limited to Strikezone, Octane, Freight, Sovereign, Warhawk. Some maps play more than one game mode, i.e., Freight can be used for all 3 game modes, Strikezone is only used for Domination. Games are 4v4, you don't have to be in a clan to play or have a full team of 4 (although is freaking helps, F U randoms!). Blitz and Domination have a 5 second spawn delay after each death. Search and Destory is first to 6 rounds, alternating between Defence and Attack. My biggest tip, USE DEAD SILENCE. It has been patched, and you're more silent than ever. You sound like an elephant to your enemies without this perk. The game modes are often quieter as there's less people to kill and with people in spawn delays, you're footsteps can give you away constantly. If anyone has any questions or wants to know some basic class set ups then give us a shout.

Came here this morning to post this. Also, when you set "server browser" choices for region, the "Quick Match" settings base their choice off of that. Tested this a little the other day and it tossed me into a few maps with only 4-5 people in them

Small patch for the old nades Upcoming Battlefield 4 Grenade Tweaks1) Increased the number of M84 FLASHBANG and HAND FLARES the player can carry from 2 to 3. A player may now have 3 active HAND FLARES, up from 1 before. The HAND FLARE remains mostly a gadget of comic relief, though its ability to blind IRNV sights should not be forgotten. The increase in the number the player can carry should allow for a larger tactical use of both the HAND FLARE and the M84 FLASHBANG. 2) Increased the effect of M84 FLASHBANG grenades on friendly and enemy players. When Friendly Fire is OFF, friendlies receive approximately half the effect duration. Previous duration was 4 seconds, now 5 seconds for enemy players. Additionally increased the range at which a player feels the full effect of the flash, and increased the effect on players not looking directly at the flash bang. This should sufficiently improve the reliability of the M84 FLASHBANG, and make it a viable choice in the grenade category. 3) Increased the maximum damage for the RGO from 67 to 80, however reduced the range of explosion. The RGO was essentially an instant kill in Hardcore, it now has a reduced 1 hit kill range, however accurate throws will yield higher damage values in Core. This clarifies the role of the RGO as an accurate impact hand grenade, while still not allowing 1 hit kills in Core. 4) Reduced the visual and audio effect for the detonation of the V40 Mini to highlight its smaller blast when compared to other grenades. Decreased the maximum damage from 80 to 60, and decreased the range at which maximum damage is applied. The player continues to carry 3 V40 grenades, and is still able to use 2 of them to get a kill in Core. Previously the V40 was entirely superior to the M67 in Hardcore, this change aims to balance them in Hardcore, while also keeping their effectiveness intact in Core.

I think this applies to most people. Not just Chelsea fans. You get told something you haven't heard shit about and instead of wanting to make yourself look the part of an ignorant twat on TV they just chat along and end up a massive twat anyways. Funny as hell though!

quick match just shoves you into a random game. use server browser and select a server in your region with the best ping, for a smoother game. atleast that is what i have found another tip....turn network smoothing factor down to 0% if your experiencing some lag

Cheers Jordie, I'll give it a proper go next time I'm near a lake / pond. A few more observations: I was hungry and thirsty, and I found a can of "spite" (lulz). Cured my hunger, not my thirst. Dean could get rich off that. Zeds are a bastard to lose. I had a few tracking me for ages, lost them eventually but bloody hell, they're like sniffer dogs! The inventory system is very clever, and that alone is worth upgrading from the mod. I love that different garments have different amounts of pockets and whatnot, very good. The combat... oh dear. If you've ever fought a zed, you'll know exactly what I mean. The game at present feels like a case of wait for server restart, rush rush rush to get stuff, then... erm... nothing. no vehicles, no tents, nothing to try and achieve. Once you're all gunned up and have decent kit, the only form of entertainment I can think of is hunting players, which might explain some of the KOS mentality some of you guys are experiencing (and I'll no doubt experience at some point too). The game feels like the basis of something very good, something excellent, and a game which will probably suck me in for hours and hours on end, but as it is now, it's lacking content. I maintain my opinion that Dean needs to focus on getting stuff to respawn inbetween restarts. Once that's sorted I'd start looking in to storage, the lack of ability to hoard stuff is brilliant for a lone wolf like myself, but I still think it's an awesome goal to work towards. And vehicles. We need vehicles, badly. Excellent game, needs improvement. Yes, it's an Alpha, I know this, but I felt like blabbering so meh.

The problem with Justin Beiber is just what I said earlier (chlid star syndrome). It's another case of the blame falling mostly on the parents IMO. When a child gains fame at such an early age as he did then he has niether the maturity nor the wisdom/experience of life to be able to handle the burdens that fame and great wealth bring with it. When you are just a kid you do not have the tools to handle fame and fortune. It is then the parents job to help guide him in the right direction and help him still be able to experience an enjoyable childhood before he becomes an adult. His parents did not do that though. His mom seems like a whack job and his dad seems like a total loser. Worse yet his dad was actually in the car stopping traffic so he could race, as well as provided him with some of the drugs. To me his parents are not only not doing their job as parents, but even worse yet, they seem to only be in the picture to use Justin as a cash cow. It's really sad when you stop and look at what is really going on. I have never cared for Justin but truth be told I actually feel sorry for the kid because he really has a very slim chance if someone responsible does not step in and do something. If someone does not step in and talk some sense into his head and make him realize money does not mean you are above the law then he is headed either for death or prison. Not a very good outlook if things do not change for him.

I agree with a lot of what he's saying. It's all I played on bfbc2 and bf3, not so much now.
