Right, I've done some research and homework. First off, I'm looking into organizing something that's totally independent from the marathon, an event which people can attend and maybe have competitions, bring along some of the guys the charity support and have a good time for all of us. I approached my forum representative within BT (not internet forum, an actual forum) and she sounded positive about the idea and mentioned that it fits in perfectly with the BT brand. Provided that BT is willing to help us out with a venue, I'd then start looking at getting sponsored by companies like Monster, Relentless, Red Bull, maybe approach some companies for catering, speak to the likes of GAME, Scan, Overclockers, etc etc, maybe get some PCs lent to us, consoles, whatever we can get to turn this into an awesome event for these guys and hopefully raise as much cash as possible. My wife and I will organize everything once we've got a go-ahead from BT, she'd be great for this what with her outstanding management skills, so I'm feeling quite confident that we will in some way or another manage to organize an excellent day out. I'll also be exploring options to accept virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and perhaps most importantly Dogecoin, the following of which recently gained press coverage worldwide by helping raise $30k to send the Jamaican bobsled team to the Winter Olympics. In short I'm exploring every avenue possible and will be reaching out to many companies to help us get this off the ground. If anyone has any other ideas please drop them in this thread and let's turn this idea into an awesome day of fundraising and awareness for those less fortunate than ourselves, so that they may enjoy the games we all take for granted. Thanks for reading, and as always, stay classy FG!9 points

Just another reason I can't trust Facebook (and other sh*t on the internet)
BO7H B4RRELS and 2 others reacted to Palle for a topic
A few days after Christmas I was going through my Facebook profile, deleting stuff I didn't want public. What I found on the lower left corner in recent activity (Dec. 19th) was a box from "Invision Power Boards" that said I had liked a post that I know I had liked... Problem is it was on THIS site, in my PPR... Something I never intended to share on my public Facebook profile. This is what it said: "Palle likes a post in "Palle's LPR (Life Progress Report)", directly linking to the topic. You know what was said in it. I can only hope that none of my Facebook friends or connections saw or cared about this post if it showed in their news feeds or that no one cares to view my profile. Now this is really interesting, because I have never allowed anything to post directly between Facebook and this forum. The ONLY thing linking them is that I'm using the same email address on both sites. The other day I had a similar post, yet again without any request for permission or notification. I can't make it stop posting because I haven't let any IPB apps post to my timeline, doesn't even seem to be one existing on Facebook. This is a violation of my privacy... I'm afraid to use the same email for different sites now.3 points -

Until you unlock the stubby grip, run with the laser sight, ergo grip and muzzle break.Let me know how you do with it, I think it's one of the best AR's in the game.2 points -

For me the first go to gun was the M416, using the muzzle break and stubby grip. It's got a decent fire rate and the recoil isn't too bad.2 points -

That's one of the cool things about the guns in this game. All have very similar bullet damages but most feel unique in performance. So ultimately it's completely personal preference as which is your(mine, whomever) favorite. I may or may not have mentioned this(can't remember) , but www.symthic.com has great gun info, even shows how attachments affect them.1 point -

Yesterday, I played BF3 on my PC and I got my first kill. Then I got my first double kill. I turned on a guy and killed him while saying "Whose the PC noob now!" Then I won my first game ever in that same game. Good times.1 point -
Ok Palle, So I never connected my Facebook through this site. Even when Dave asked us to test simply because I never wanted those two accounts linked. But I liked it for you to test out what is going on. I went into my settings and linked them: Simply by linking them you have gave them the permission to post these things on your wall. I liked your OP post to test and this instantly popped up: If you're connected through the settings, at some point you had to have linked them. It could have been linked through the icons at the bottom of the page that say "like this page". You could have been connected that way. Who knows. Either way, I'd keep your private stuff in the actual PPR section like I do with mine. And disassociate the account like I am going to right now. If you're not linked up on that page, then I honestly have no idea how that could have happened. If it should happen to anyone it should happen to me. I use Facebook everyday.1 point

Will I'll be able to use my PX21's on the PS4? I am interesting in getting the PX4's but ideally I wouldn't want to splash out on new ones if my old ones are compatible.1 point -
Not sure how that happened either, bit odd. Did it copy and paste the post? If not it's nothing to worry about, you need to be a verified member to see the PPRs.1 point

Sounds like a plan Dave. I'm not sure about the Italian though, maybe Mike would prefer a proper English pub dinner? Just an idea, he's travelling the furthest so I think it's only fair that he has dibs on what we eat.1 point -

Diddums reacted to Plumbers Crack for a topic
Mike, would I be right in saying that obviously you'll be bringing your wife to the meet as well? How do people feel about about meeting up for, say an Italian meal early evening, finding a decent pub for a few drinks then those that want to carry on and get trolleyed can do so and Mike and his missus can decide if they want to go down that route as well or retire gracefully for the evening?1 point -

BO7H B4RRELS reacted to Cassidy for a topic
I seem to carry ranked games by jungling Vi. She's such a solid champion, and she can basically close any gap. Shyvana is also my other go-to jungler. And I agree with Tommy, don't give up on Ziggs. If you can stick through and learn him, he is by far one of the most dominant mid laners in the game.1 point -
