  1. The rating system: 1/5 - Not very good. 5/5 - Best on the map. There will be a combination of these variables throughout. For example, some spots are great for cover and safety but are not very good for getting kills; rather they are good for countering certain camping spots. Traffic refers to how long you'll have to wait before enemies appear. Higher traffic areas are usually less safe. But when both variables are high, the spot is very good. 1 or 2 level safety spots should be moved out of or only moved through due to the possibility of being spawned on. Vol 1 Vol 2 Feedback is welcome. I'm still working out some other spots I have found.

  4. Yeah I don't run into odd numbers of campers...people camp a lot but they camp as much or more in bo2, bo1 mw3 and mw2. On release week it felt like there were a lot of campers but I just didn't know the maps, now that I learned the maps it's better. It's like this with every CoD, maps are fresh and you have no clue where people patrol, camp at or move around....then you learn the maps and it's easy.

  8. I have no complaints about this game still. It runs perfect for me, I rarely die to any of the bullshit I died of in BO2 or MW3. Only thing that I hope to god changes soon is the ammount of people sat in a corner ADS'ing. Some wannabe german HAZE guys accused me of camping, if they had watched the killcam they would have seen that I was running and gunning every time. Next game when they killed me I checked the killcams. Sitting in a corner with a silenced weapon...

  9. @Dr Diamond I still recommend the Fender mustang Amp. It comes in different sizes and I don't know how "professional" you want. I have the II. It allows to program the settings for any of your songs and there is a user community online that have done some settings for alot of songs already. I got mine about 2 years ago and no problems http://www.fender.com/series/mustang/

  13. For the benefit of Euan and Gary who expressed some confusion about how all this works, this is what I have worked out: Basically we get put in a 'clan war' against 7 other clans. We don't come up against them, we just compete for control of 10 'nodes'. If you've looked at the app and seen a map and lots of target description, basically ignore that. Its just for atmosphere Each clan war lasts a set amount of time, the first one is a week, and the next one, which starts tomorrow is two weeks I think. there is an overall league table showing how many 'cp' each clan has, these clan points are earned by owning a node. Each node is like a mini league table for each of the clans to compete. Each node = a game mode - so 10 game modes are represented. TDM / Dom / KC / Hunted / SnR / Blitz and 4 hard core modes. Each node can be either 'open' or 'owned'. At the start of a clan war all nodes are open, and basically the first clan to hit the specified target of wins then owns that mode (and gets some cp). When a node is open any time a clan member gets a win in that game mode it adds to our score - so a party of 6 winning gets 6 points. The target varies depending upon the node - some are 40 wins, the TDM one is 140 wins (but this may change in each clan war) So at the start of a clan war the idea is to beast some wins and grab ownership of nodes. Owning a node gives everyone an xp boost in that specific game mode Once a node is owned, the scoring changes massively. At that point the scores of all the other clans are frozen and whenever they get a win, those points come off the total of the team that owns the node. So if we win domination and have 40 wins, if the other 7 clans are all playing domination our score will go backwards quickly. When we reach zero the node is open again. I think the xp bonus only lasts as long as you own the node. As soon as the node is open the scoring changes back, and wins add to our total until someone grabs ownership again. Its meant to be deliberately hard to hold a node too long. Overall victory comes from the cp we accumulate by grabbing the nodes. I cant find anything much on the internet about how this is calculated apart from a hint that at the first clan to grab ownership of each node gets 12 cp, and then this drops by 1 for every other change of ownership. This explains why we got 3 for owning SnR and 6 for owning Dom - different amounts of leadership changes. Hope this makes it clearer

  15. You should never try to fit into society, because it's society that is sick. It's the pressure of this sickness that is forcing you to go against your own personality. You should turn the eye inward, not outward. When you know yourself, discover yourself, you'll realize that there is nothing wrong with you. The problem is the juxtaposition of your feelings of trying to fit in colliding with your feelings of being yourself. I know this, because I went through the very same thing when I was in my early 20's. I almost went to see a psychologist about it. But there isn't anything wrong with me. I accepted that. Yes, you're not a teenager right now, but you are still maturing. Men mature all their lives. (you are a Man right?) Watch what happens when you turn 30. You'll realize how immature you were for that 20 something decade. Your true personality will start to solidify itself later on. For me, it was 31 when I noticed that I didn't care about society anymore. What's more important? How many friends you have on facebook or happiness? I'm projecting here, as I am not saying you care about that stuff, but a lot of people do; and they shouldn't. Technology has further advanced this sickness that is going on. The only healthy thing to do is to get back to things our ancestors knew to be healthy. Diet, exercise, meditation. etc. I think about how lucky you are though, technology is a double edged sword; can be used for good/evil. Luckily you have a community here of a vast array of people and their experiences to request advice from. I didn't have that. Lastly, do something every single day, to further and better your position. Even if its only doing 10 pushups. Do 11 the next day. Do something more, each and every day. Drink less, etc.

  16. I can't stand them. I can't stand claymores. I can't stand bouncing bettys. I can't stand shock charges. I can't stand anything that is put down and left waiting for someone to walk by. If it was up to me, none of that would be in the game.

    Song Meanings

Just seeing this Tommy. Okay, well. Hard to just link without saying why, but I'll try. I had a low point in my life back in my mid 20's, I drank a lot and had a hard time with life, this song was one I listened to every night because I was in such a low state and my girlfrind back then hated this song because of that. Now a days I like it, because it when I hear it it shows me how I have changed so much. No other songs has as much meaning for me now.
