Changing PSN name

I've been thinking about changing my psn username for a while, does anyone know if this will affect my data for my online games on Fifa, Fall Guys, Rocket League, etc?

I recently changed mine and it doesn’t seemed to have affected my games but it could be different for everyone

I think you're good to go as many newer games should be testing for this stuff so the game is created not to link to master PSN names. I do believe you keep your original name too so you can always move back to it at any point I think?
