Didn't think the meta was ever a Huracan! Horrendous handling.

I do think it would be great to see something like a 2.0 update that brings 3-4 new tracks. I actually wouldn't say no to a bunch more Cafe Menus as I think they've been an added edition to help the game flow nicely.

Here are some thoughts after a few weeks on GT7 daily, using VR.

 

The VR is great, brilliant in fact, but there are some really stupid downsides.  Coming out of the pits, it resets the view, and Lord help you if you aren't staring at where your wheel should be.  Why?  FUCKING WHY?  The view has been great so far, why reset it?  Also you need to guess where your steering wheel should be pointing, otherwise 3 second penalty.  Dumb.  There are no timings other than your lap time, so you can't tell where you make up or lose time, it's a real pain.  The view is pretty restricted (just like a real car), but everyone else gets to sit on the roof of their car like Mr Bean driving his mini.  VR only lobbies would fix this.

 

I've hit a plateau where I'm ranked B but not fast enough to make up any places.  Not their fault, but it's frustrating.  I found myself in the top 3 and got punted, I had to quit before I went mad max on the entire field.

 

It's been fun, but it's starting to get a bit.... unfun.  I think I'd rather race friends.  And punt them off instead.  🙂

Two new tracks dropping tomorrow. There's also paid dlc dropping too with new game features.

Holy fuck @phil bottle!! Those 2 new tracks are a fantastic addition! Got to have some night races on Yas Marina. To have Montreal too is superb, what an iconic track.

 

Its been desperate for new tracks to keep it fresh. The new cars look nice too, maybe a full race with the Panda's would be hilarious with all of us.

 

A collector level limit change is great, this game really needs that extra feeling of chasing objectives. A real plus for the more casual hoarders like us 😄 Data Logger looks like one for the ultras.

 

Price - As the video above didn't know at the time of recording I've just checked...£24.99. Not sure on that. Seems abit much for me for just 50 challenges and £5 mil credits. Feel like they had to add teh credits to justify it in my opinion. For a game nearly 4 years old though, I've absolutely got my money's worth out of this, so it could be worth a punt because once you get going on this, its hard to stop.
