Dr Disrespect Permanently Banned From Twitch

Twitch signaled permanent bans were coming following stories of harassment and sexual misconduct.

Subs cancelled and emotes withdrawn.  First thoughts is that it's something serious but then again Twitch will ban for non-female streamers for no reason so who knows. A big streamer recently got banned because they supposedly filed inside of a bathroom when actually it was the locker room to secure valuables at a karting track.

I watched the end of his last stream. Looks at his phone and then goes really weird. He started talking about how he liked David Icke and some other random stuff and then it ends abruptly.

Indeed. Really weird. He knew something went down very badly. About the last minute I think is enough to watch, i just skipped to that bit.

He only recently signed a bumper new deal with Twitch so I'd be surprised it was anything related to another platform but who knows, where money is involved anything can happen.

What I've learned from a lot of YouTubers is even if you are a millionaire and have a steady income coming in; they will still look for other ways to make even more money even if it's shady, scams their own subscribers or downright illegal. I am staggered at the poor ethics, entitlement and greed in some of these content creators where even earning a guaranteed $500.000 a month at worst isn't enough.

It was a little bit funny watching the social media pop off with crazy anxiety because they all needed to know the inside gossip on why he was banned. You could clearly see the reason 'why?!' means that many people are barely surviving to breathe without knowing this extremely important and critical news. Ahh, the difference between life and death for a Social Media addict 😂

If it was something criminal or involving someone else then it would have been disclosed in the public interest already.

That is not true. Court transcripts can be sealed, or it might have been settled before a filing. Private settlements are not required to be disclosed and are often sealed as part of the settlement.

Lots of people already know what it is regarding so I can't see it being anything like this. If it was, people would spout off because NDA's hold little merit now and there isn't many courts that would be willing to orchestrate such a thing when it is of a criminal nature. Private things are never private these days either.

This has all resurfaced spectacularly in the last couple of days and we might finally have a conclusion incoming after it seemingly being brushed under the carpet after 4 years of legal wrangles. An ex-Twitch employee leaked that DrDisrespect was banned for supposedly messaging a minor and trying to meet up with them at a convention. This was denied by the Dr in a very vague and legally-leaning Tweet which didn't sit well with anyone. Just when it looked to be another rumour, it seems like damning evidence will be released shortly and this news reached Doc during his stream yesterday in which he then went into full panic-mode and said he was wanting to quit for good.

To add further weight to the situation, Doc has also been sacked from his very own studio he co-founded. They appear to have spoken to 'all parties' involved so for them to take this action speaks volumes:-

Days after allegations that he was banned from Twitch for inappropriately texting a minor, Dr Disrespect says he's taking a 'vacation' from streaming.

The streamer said the 2017 DMs were a "mistake," but that he's not a "predator or pedophile."

There's just some things in life that will scar you for life, regardless if its 'not breaking the law'. Career done me thinks.

Sounds like he's going on an extended break and will hope to come back hoping everything will be gone or forgotten and I expect this will happen because content creators are largely immune to consequences stemming from dreadful behaviours. He played the dumbfounded card for 4 years yet it's clear he knew why he was banned but I just don't get why Twitch settled and paid out with lots of NDA's if he did this. Looks really bad them but then again the site is a cesspool of scumbaggery.

He's now been de-monetised by YouTube even though they were seemingly aware of the allegations when they offered him a partnership after he left Twitch. I bet Doc will return and when he does, he'll be streaming on Kick with the other degenerates. It's probably the only place left he can go.

Kick said 'Its too soon' to make a decision on him. I think leave it for a year or so and he'll come back in a different form. He has to otherwise he has to find a completely different career to keep his own family going. I'm glad I never watched him and if he does come back if people find out who he is new form is, then people won't watch him either.
