Call of Duty World Championship Starts Tomorrow

Black Ops III is actually pretty fun to watch competively and this year has the biggest prize pool ever for a COD event, $800,000 for the winners.

Starts tomorrow, I'll be rooting for OpTic. If anyone wants to watch then there's more info here:

Twitch.tv will have up to 4 streams so plenty of action.

Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing Euan. Any other team news that you could share as I personally won't know any of the teams competing?

I will be rooting for Lethal Gaming, as they are the pro team I was playing Rainbow Six under.

I don't see why the main sports channels are snapping up these events yet. It would have quite a lot of views from the couch against the streamers.

I would assume viewing figures would be way too low and it's not a sport.

Neither is a few things that Sky Sports shows but I think it has got an opportunity it's missing. Watching games is becoming increasingly popular and the prize pots for some tournaments are fantastic. Advertisements would be snapped up in my opinion. People argue Poker, Darts and WWF are sports so I don't see gaming being any different.
