They are a bit pointless aren't they?

Friday's for me are generally the day I have no meetings, get left alone all day and work from home with no one really knowing what I am doing. It tends to be the day I book my dentist appointments, doctors appointments and all the rest of it as I know few people will realy want me on a Friday.

What are your Friday's like?

Fridays for me are the same as every day except Wednesday, as I only go to office once a week at the moment.

I have no one to bother me, as long as i do my work then I'm pretty much left to my own devices, which is pretty great.

But I don't like distractions when I'm working so I leave tv etc off except for lunchtime. Every day is pretty chill and goes quite quickly if I'm busy.

Mostly pretty chilled to the point I'll find a quite spot for s power nap that is if I've not got any training that needs doing or orders that need placing.

It does bring into the light the 4-day week trial thats happened at many places to have Friday off and still get paid the same wage as we do for 5 day weeks. Weirdly, maybe its a good thing its still 5 days...would the demand from the company be more on everyone if it was just 4 days?

Like you said Phil, focus on output rather than how many hours you do in my opinion, is the way to go in virtually every job.
