Nominations for FG Game of the Year 2024

It’s that time of year … 

 

Nominations are now open for the FG Game of the Year 2024! We will follow a similar structure to last year. Please respond to this thread with your 5 games that you think deserve to be nominated for Game of the Year. Rules: 

- Game must have released in 2024

- Remakes are allowed (e.g. Silent Hill 2)

- Remasters not allowed (e.g. The Last of Us 2 Remastered)

I think that covers most things. If you have any questions or suggestions let me know.
 

Nominations will close at 23.59 on 23rd December, so you have 2 weeks to nominate! Please message as many of your FG friends as possible who may not always check the website to come and nominate so we can have a good selection of votes. Once the nominations process is complete I will start a new thread where everyone will be able to vote for their winner! 

 

Make sure you nominate your favourite 5, even if someone has already nominated your game. The games with the most nominations will make it to the final stage.

- Helldivers 2

I'll start with the first two that come to mind, I'm trying out Indiana Jones later and hear its decent, plus I'll check what games got most of my time, so I'll wait to add the final three choices. I would add Tarkov but it's still in beta, that game will top any list once it finally releases. Only one map left to release and it's been teased recently.

 

1. STALKER 2 (50+ hours since release) 

2. Zero Sievert (I have 85 hours of this game while in early access, it officially launched as a title a few months ago so i need to go and check the final version).

That's about it really. Not been a good year for gaming at all. Haven't played Black Myth or Silent Hill 2 yet and I imagine they'd be on the list but having not played them, I can't nominate.

From what I've seen and read silent hill 2 gets my vote.

I'm hoping bops 6 doesn't get top can't have cod twice in a row.

the only other game I’ve played that came out this year is EA FC 24 and I’m definitely not putting that on my list.

Black Ops 6, I don't play an awful lot of games or variety.
