So, after all the bullshit, I was given my free access to the new PVE mode the other day. It's brutal but it's fantastic, no more having to deal with cheaters. The faction bots are lethal and I've only managed to extract successfully once out of five raids. KD of 1 though 🤪

 

Tarkov plays as smooth as butter and I'll be back on it a lot until Grey Zone gets optimised.

The online PVE mode with progression has been a game changer for me. I'm building my Hideout, which I never used to focus on, and already have my heating, lighting and a shooting range set up. Because of random deaths I used to not bother collecting the junk required and just focused on high end items to get better weapons. But no more cheaters or ppl hiding in bushes means I'm free to play the game as intended. The scavs aren't too tricky to deal with, although they can do you with superior numbers but the faction AIs are a lot tougher and i try to only engage them when i really need to. I'm level 8 and my soft skills are developing nicely. The more you do stuff in Tarkov the better and quicker your character gets. I've also started to do the missions but just focusing on those in the Ground Zero and Customs maps.

Great Halloween week in Tarkov which has just ended. Totally addicted to this game since summer finished.

All the quests are varied they're done very well. There's often a funny story behind them. Now that offline has progression I'm even kitting my hideout properly for the first time. I'll get you on with me one day 🤣

An update recently stopped me playing for a bit as I had a decision to make. To take advantage of the update properly it meant wiping my character and all my progress. This was a tough decision but I finally did it today. Back to being a level 1 with my hideout barren of anything except candles to light it 😅

The game is due to officially launch later this year.

 

It's pretty much all I'm playing at the moment after a break to play Stalker 2 and Oblivion.

 

Latest patch has more improvements including a much needed rework of the audio.

Totally addicted to this game the last couple of weeks, its all i play right now and I'm in a great place with it.

 

I stopped smoking for good two weeks ago today and Tarkov has kept me sane 🤗 relatively speaking 🤪

Currently level 24 in Tarkov, highest I've ever been and its pretty much all I've been playing the last month or so. 

 

Currently working my way through some of the quests, which you receive from the traders.

 

This is the next one on my list to do.

My current stats in Tarkov, these are my main character stats i.e. my PMC named Makhno, who is the BEAR faction. 

 

I've been playing on and off since alpha (back in 2018 I think) but the last few months it's been my main game.

 

I do also play as a Scav but I use that character as a loot collector and that's another 100 raids on top of this, which has a slightly better survival rate but lower KD.

That's a pretty good survival rate there Philly after nearly 200 raids!! Have you mastered the art of sitting silent in a dark corner?

 

Is there another full reset coming or this is now how it stays as a full game?

Ha ha no sitting in bushes or corners, I just use top tier armour and headshots. Level 37 now and over 300 raids with about same kd. This year this game hit my all time top 5 favourite games of all time since I embraced doing all the tasks. 

 

Game comes out of early access on 15 November so I have until then before the final wipe 🙂

You have a choice of either the Battlestate Games servers or your own server. I do my own as its a lot quicker loading into the maps. I'd love someone to join me. Its very hardcore but once you know what you're doing its pretty straightforward. There's 5 traders who offer you missions and tasks and I follow these to rank up and get better gear : )
