  5. Apologies for the video quality but it was quite a while ago. St Etienne had a certain Mr Platini playing for them. This was my first "European Tour" and it was almost a bucket list destination. That was after hearing the "Green Roar" against Liverpool FC on a tinny tranny in the '70's. The green roar was quite muted as the game went on and the home support melted away as the fourth goal went in IIRC the away support for that match was about 400. The coach trip was 18 hours each way with two drivers hot shopping. Despite all the fan problems of the time, there wasn't a single arrest at any of our EUFA Cup away games.

  11. Football? Oh go on then. There's so many, probably why we love the game so much. But this following 2 minute montage just reminded how much I was so behind the England team in 2021. That was a magical day. A time where everyone doesn't believe we can beat big teams. That Southgate can't do it. That Kane can't do it. What a day that was. I'm literally tearing up watching it all over again. And again. And again. This is what we live for. ❤️
  12. Hmm, that is hard. Weirdly, one that sticks out is the Cricket World Cup final England vs New Zealand. Insane game. Scores level and tied at the very end, which is rare in itself but then the Super Over was effectively ending level too but England winning on countback for Wickets. So many random things happened. Bear in mind our captain Stokes is a broken injured man through it all, and to top it all off, England actually ended up as the winner. I accidentally punched my ceiling jumping up in celebration 🤣 From just under 5 minutes, it is absolute carnage.
  13. Can't see it being dropped. We can't be the only league without it when you go to Europe and big international tournaments it will be on I would suspect. Let the teams have 2-3 calls for VAR through the game that can pause the game up to 3 minutes at a time. Works in other sports but doesn't take the responsibility away from the man in the middle that everyone has to accept their decisions.
Some absolutely stonking goals in there! Love it!
  14. Not this shit again. We already had the phantom 39th game proposal for years and I don't want to see this shit materialise again. It's bad enough with all these retarded friendlies.
  15. Cancelled after 3 years of development. Another complete waste of time and resources by Ubisoft. It's also mildly funny that they are considering xDefiant a 'bigger opportunity' when they can't even get that out the door for the last 18 months. I've always thought Heartland was a stupid watered-down cash grab and they'd be better off focusing on The Division 3 and more ambitious titles but this is a lot of time they will not get back. Ubisoft Cancels The Division Heartland - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Ubisoft has canceled its upcoming free-to-play shooter, Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland, amid larger plans to focus resources on "bigger opportunities."
  16. Also this. Money men wankers will destroy football as we know it. Fifa exploring impact of playing domestic matches abroad WWW.BBC.CO.UK Fifa are examining the impact of moving domestic competitive matches abroad.
  17. Premier League voting whether to keep VAR will be interesting...
  18. Premier League clubs to vote on scrapping VAR Wolves have tabled a motion to scrap VAR, other clubs will vote on it next month. If 14 clubs vote in favour of the motion, VAR will not be used next season.
