  1. Today
  2. Digital Foundry did a good video on this. It is a lazy effort. It's basically GoW Ultimate with a couple of extra tweaks. It's still running on UE3 🙄 I've grabbed it because it's on Game Pass but there's no way I would have bought it.
  3. Its free on gamepass so I downloaded it yesterday. I swear it looked better when I played it on Xbox 360.
  4. Launch day for the new game, reminder if anyone wants to buy it!
  5. First come first serve on positions, rotate regularly and all that. Let's have another good night, last week went pretty well and we won our fair share as well as scoring plenty of screamers from outside the box 😄
  6. I mean, let's be honest, we all just want to see if the bard turns up or not don't we?
  7. Yesterday
  8. I grabbed this for £42 on Game Thor which is a great site - there was no way in hell I was paying £70 especially for a shot-for-shot remake. Completed the Virtuous Mission part and they've definitely done a great job with the visuals and cutscenes. Controls take some getting used to and there is some annoying collision issues with bodies on the floor though. Unreal 5 once again proves itself as a dogshit engine and Tim Sweeney today has come out and blamed all the developers for problems across the entire portfolio of games that utilise it.
  9. Game is out now but the reception has been pretty mild particularly on PC. Just sheer laziness from Microsoft piggybacking a shite port rather than do a trilogy from the ground up like how MCC and Mass Effect Legendary was done. Feels like this was just done to wet the appetite of PS5 users in time for E-Day next year with it being a prequel but for £40 it really is a shite offering.

He may never get a haircut ever again!
  11. New update looks pretty decent : )
  12. At this point developers need to start investing more time in optimisation, its all very well having a great looking game but pointless if it runs like a turd. Is it true they updated the game but not the controls? I hear its quite fiddly in places. 70+ quid too. Yeah no thanks.
  13. Oh dear, what's going on in Manchester? GRIMsby times apparently 🙈
  14. Last week
  15. Project IGI (2000) Command and Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour
  16. It's going to be a very interesting season and I think Arsenal's depth could be key for them but it'll be interesting to see where Liverpool are at with some big departures and incomings. Chelsea aren't quite there yet but they should be better placed to compete for top 4 and Man City will be up there but I can't see them winning it or even getting near the top 3. At the other end, I think West Ham are going to have a very challenging season but for the first time in a very long time, I think the promoted sides may be better placed to survive unlike previous years. Unbelievable pressure for Arteta to deliver this season though - over £1bn spent in his tenure and still only the FA Covid Cup to show for it and that was with Emery's squad. I don't even think the FA Cup and League Cup would be good enough to suffice - it has to be the League and/or the Champions League. Not many teams blow through that sort of rate and win less than Leicester. City were nailing the treble off the back of multiple titles and trophies in which Arteta played a huge part in that with Pep so the expectations will be insane but I think they are well-placed this year to do something.
  17. I totally agree, there's a lot of strong teams this season with a lot of cash being splashed on players, with probably more to come before the window closes next Monday. Arsenal and Liverpool probably fighting it out for top spot, with Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, Spurs and Maybe Forest in the mix again for the rest of the top 6. I would have said Villa and Man Utd too but they both look a little off the pace so far. Thomas the Frank Engine has done a good job so far for Spurs, he's even getting the best out of Richarlison....and I think we'll do a little better than last years 17th place 🤪
  18. Spurs are actually looking class so far @phil bottle, gonna be an interesting season I hope if they can keep it up, city will be in the mix, chelsea probably will be as well and I don’t see any way liverpool or arsenal aren’t involved in the top 3. could be one hell of a tight title challenge this year
  19. Activision caught bribing streamers including 3 convicted cheaters for fake trailer reactions😂 this franchise is an embarrassment
  20. I can confirm that there is no griefing on our server. I saw a few folks in one common area, from other private servers. Game feels great, they also just launched roadmap as outlined below.
  21. I can't believe BO7 isn't even cracking the top 40 on Steam top sellers and it's not doing very well on the PS Store either for pre-orders. It's still early days and people are probably waiting to see how Battlefield fares but these figures regardless are absolutely rancid. The Steam top sellers is also determined by revenue so when you have a £70 game that can't crack the top 40 and is being outsold by income compared to a game that costs $3, the pre-orders must literally sit in the tens of thousands tops for it to be that low down. Even ANNO 1800 being 30 places ahead at $6 is crazy.
  22. Imagine spending $750 on a PS5 Pro and getting a baseline performance output the same as an Xbox 360! Even upscaling with as much slop as possible can't hide how poorly optimised these modern games are compounded with a sheer lack of power and flexibility from the locked hardware.
  23. If it plays anything like BO3 and AW then I'll be very happy as I really enjoyed both of those games. I always felt there was just something off with BO6. It didn't feel like a Treyarch game. So I'm fully convinced that BO6 was released just as a stop-gap until they could get BO7 out.
  24. I loved the first season, so Fallout season 2 will hopefully be just as good. With it involving New Vegas and rumours of a remaster to what many feel was the best FO game, bring it on please : )
  25. It certainly looks more refined like Black Ops 3. Not sure what the hell they were thinking with BO6 especially with the stupid movement. They had it nailed down in MW2019 and Vanguard yet they practically made it so flimsy and exploitable in the last game that it just looked and felt ridiculous. I think this will be a similar case to Advanced Warfare where the devs have tried their hardest and produced a reasonably polished game but shocking direction and shite marketing ruins it. Sadly it'll look and feel way more superior to 6 but get ten times the flack.
