  2. So you have to thin pain. You have to use retarder on paint (which slows the drying time and you to use flow improver in the airbrush to make sure it does not clog the needle. Lot of stuff to do if you are picky about results. If you just want to have fun it's simpler The transfers are not that hard if you 1) gloss the model after painting 2) use microset decal softener (or some other vendor) 3) use a wood tooth pick to move the decal around 4) damp with a coton swab 5) use microsol decal fixer But on a jet like the F-4 you probably have 130-150 decals to put on if you do them all. It's an exercise in patience for sure. If you look at the "no step lines" on the wing for example. I think there are 20 per wing. Tamiya is good a giving you some extras because they know you will screw some of them up. It's nice to have spares
  3. Hi Lee, I would say it depends and how much detail you want. I can spend as little as 2-3 hours if it's one color and nothing special. The phantom was probably 60-80 hours. You don't see all of the detail and weathering. The panels lines for example took close to 10 hours. There are 4 shades of gray on the model. Had it been all grey it would have been a lot faster When you do something like camouflage then it takes a lot of time too because you have to paint. Wait to dry. Mask. Paint again. Personally I like the painting so it's not a problem. I also have acrylics, enamels and lacquers depending on what I paint

  6. Painting isn't that hard as long as you thin your paints. Transfers ("Stickers") are hard as shit though, and Pat did an amazing job on that F4. He has to have hands of steel man, wow
  7. Still baffling to me. Can someone help me understand if the ex-Wolves Manager that got them about 2 points from 751 games, manages to get the Forest job now? 🙈
  8. That's so cool, Pat! Only thing that always puts me off models is the painting part. How long does it take for the painting, for instance on the Plane? If Lego hadn't come along so much then I'd definitely look into some of this historic models. I'll have to find my cards that my Grandad used to collect for me that talks about all different planes and aircraft.
  9. Yeah I'm surprised I've not seen the extra questions asked yet about how the mechanics work with the block. On a mobile app makes perfect sense though. It surely can't be that intuitive to work itself out on its own?

I’ve grabbed a few cheap Binance gift cards through https://www.cdkeysforgames.com/games/gamecards/binance/ and liked how it shows all verified sellers side by side, so I don’t have to hunt around for deals. The price alerts are handy too if you’re waiting for a drop. Being able to rate sellers after redeeming the code makes it feel a lot safer than buying blindly elsewhere.

  13. So I am caught up on the latest season now, I think the first half it didn't seem to flow as well as the first season however the second half it has all come together really well. It also has me hankering to play a fallout game again, so I am reinstalling Fallout 76 today with the intent to get back to playing it again (PS5) if anyone fancies joining me for something a little bit different 🙂
  14. That’s the only one at the moment I’ve seen. I presume it’ll have many functions and applications for many different products. Perhaps it links with you phone and you chose what it doesn’t through that? I have no idea to be honest, just seems neat.
  15. Terrible ownership.
  16. As always, fuck the entire worldwide status quo for pushing censorship everywhere on the internet under the guise of "think of the children"
  17. Dude, now that is pretty cool, I need to get a new car, but I might end up grabbing that

  20. I don't. I have debated on getting one a few times, but still haven't done it. Once it warms up, I can start base coating again, last year got away from me, and I barely did any printing, or painting at all. I am really hoping this year is different
  21. cool. Do you use an airbrush at all? I have just started to use one. Everything you to be just brush painted with acrylics.
  22. Oh yea, I totally get it. I dont think I could manage 1/72 these days. I swapped over to Army Painter, speed paint, because painting gets tricky these days for me at times.

  24. 1/72 just too small for this clumsy fingers (unless they are modern day fighter like the F-14). Lots of people I know do the 40K and Gundam.
