This does look like they've gone down an interesting road. I think Siege unfortunately suffers from what many existing live service games have - ability to be a really good game...but only when you've learned all the characters and the maps, otherwise its a steep curve to get success. I'd like to give it a go though and its a good thing some of the options are free to play too!

I've honestly tried to play Witcher 3 so many times, both on console and PC, and I just can't seem to get along with it. Maybe if 4 has a 1st person option I'll have more joy.

That as a tech demo is probably something we have all been waiting to see on a PS5 since it launched. I think most people will need to at least try this game out to see and feel how it plays. I've started to try and play Witcher 3 but I must admit that the controls do feel clunky so hopefully that will be updated to feel more inline with most other games that are currently out.

I saw a post a few weeks ago on what the game would actually look like without any of the stolen assets and it looks like some gigantic placeholder. The amount of stuff they lifted is absolutely insane and makes up virtually the entire games stylised aesthetics. I believe they are still auditing their asset library and the amount of stuff they will have to replace from scratch is crazy. Without the stolen material, they literally have no brand or game.
-
I honestly wonder if this is the first step towards cancelling it. Bungie/ Sony sunk a lot of money into it, but if the artists of the stolen assets decide to sue, it might not matter

Bungie have today announced that Marathon has been delayed indefinitely and a new release date will be issued towards the end of the year. Honestly, I'd probably just cancel it altogether and cut the losses. A 6 month delay at the very least wont give them enough time to replace all the stolen assets, reshape the gameplay into something engaging and appealing, plus deliver a long-term strategy where the game remains viable for both players and publisher.

Ok, it's actually just Rainbow 6 with brand new visuals etc

Yup 🙂 We did have a java modded server for about 5 or 6 years but it wasn't getting any use so I let it lapse a few months ago.

I’ve been messing around with some visual tweaks and ended up using https://minecraftshader.com/complementary-shaders/ — makes a huge difference without killing performance. The lighting looks way more natural, especially during sunrise and sunset, and it’s been stable with the current mod setup too. Might be worth trying if you’re after smoother visuals without loading your system too much.

Oh man, now THATS how they break this market. That or a similar styled Gameboy.

This is taking an absolute battering out there. Visually looks great but baron of anything interesting to do and some really strange stuff happening. This was actually done out of bounds so not surprised it didn't work....however where there is water in game, its extremely shallow and it still looks so bad. Its like they got 70% of the way, lost money, and then thought of the quickest way to make money with just a few immoral people left in the building. Shows how much you can't just make games overnight though. In this day and age, you'll get found out quickly and royally taken to the cleaners by the world wide social media. Big whoopsie.

Watched this the other night too. As you say, probably not as good as the first, but definitely up there and very easy to watch. Really enjoyed it, especially as i've never been a fan of Ben Affleck films but he really nails this character for me.

Looks like Sony started issuing no questions asked refunds. Also Cohh's sponsored stream was cancelled at the last minute to avoid further humiliation for the publishers. System-wide refunds may be on the cards and this could be another write-off.

Like RTS games that are reminiscent of C&C, Dune 2? Then go grab the demo for it It has a tutorial mission, and then a midpoint mission that kicked my butt. I was able to get one of the seeds destroyed before I ran out of money for new units. This game is HELLA hard it feels like Also the twist on classic RTS must be experienced (Fair warning, aim for the large trunks) Calyx on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM A strategy game with a new kind of enemy, Calyx puts you in charge of a space mining outpost, locked in battle with an overwhelming alien...

Visually the game is one of the best, I just couldn't get into the "story", or the gameplay loop

Out on PC today and there is already a demo available. Plays like a cross between Metal Gear Rising, Devil May Cry and Dark Souls. Presentation is excellent and it runs smooth. Definitely tempted to grab it as the demo was enjoyable.

I ventured into the forum and saw a few suspects who pre-ordered The Day Before previous, who were literally bumming the game. Don't know why people have a fetish in buying into shit games and defending products they literally have no idea about. Leslie Benzies is pretty washed in the industry now and was blinded by NFT's and Crypto so the GTA and Blockchain bollocks probably got a few deluded people on board but any proper gamer with a brain could see this was absolute slop nonsense with no substance.
-
Yeah it looks so basic it comes across like a scam, deary me, and also you'd have had to be a bit of an idiot to buy it without checking reviews. Then again the GTA connection probably blinded some...

Looks like the Steam community enjoy it. I don't believe I'd heard of it, I will check it out!
