  1. Also forgot Most buggy and glitched cod to date. I rember the launch of BO1, you had to take a degree in networking just to get a lobby. Can't pin that accolade on WW2. As far as I know they have had one game impacting issue, on point du hoc, and they fixed it in a week.
  2. I honestly don't understand this hate for WW2. Ok there are a few things that can be criticised but I find them minor issues compared to the fun I'm having: sometimes you you end up on the wrong side of the lag, . I view lag as inevitable in a MP shooter, and if you can't cope with that you shouldn't play MP shooters. If I'm really struggling, I just back out, problem solved onky 9 maps ad they are all crap apparently. I just disagree with the all crap comment, I play loads of different modes and different maps play differently in different modes. The only map I really don't like is Uss Texas but guess what loads of people do, as it's always voted for. Opinion on map is a very personal thing, I actually really like flak tower on Dom and hardpoint. Only. 9 maps is hard to defend, but mix your game modes up and it's less of an issue. I know it's sacrilege to suggest playing anything other than KC and Dom, but actually there's plenty to go at Shotgun range is a bit shit on two of them , agreed, but the explosive sheets will help you rank them to get the single bullet attachment which I am hoping helps Division system is a a bit limiting, agreed, but it was well flagged before game came out, and I don't find it that bad. Developer trying something different in a 12 year old franchise, what a bunch of twats lol weapon balance , peprsoanlly I can do pretty well with any assaults, smg, snipers, , and lmgs if I am patient, and the combat shotgun. Helll I've never done pretty well with the shovel. All of this in Core. Just don't understand the comments about lack of variety This thing about ADS after running, it's nonsense, just hipfire with steadyaim the way smgs are meant to be used. Want to run round with an assault rifle, expect to get you ass handed to you, it's not their sweet spot.
  3. I think your natural optimism has kept you going on it Lee. I just don't see how they can pull it out of the fire now, but I genuinely hope they do.
  4. If adding stuff that should have been in on day1 is the big news.....well.... D2 is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Im predicting Lipstick on a Pig tomorrow
  5. Sorry don't know how to post photos, so here is a video photo, 2 epic FFA games against terrible players, just the scoreboards, includes a 19 kill win margin I won the next 4 as well, but not by as much as someone decent joined.
  6. ^ just some bits from me, shotgun triple, then a 13 streak ( should have been more but I suck), and a shotgun 9 incl fury kill
  7. Just the headshot challenges to get the camos is what I meant

    D1 v D2 pvp

Destiny PvP for me has always suffered in that it's a bit pointless. I'm currently grinding through CoD prestiges and challenges quite happily and the goal of having stuff to do is such a big draw. At least in D1 there was grimoire score to play for , D2 doesn't even have that. This is was why Iron Banner was so popular, just the goal of hitting level 5 and buying ( yes buying, not RNGing) weapons with good rolls, and armour with great stats, easily made IB the best thing in D1 PvP. How did Bungie not recognise that? 6v6 plays better than 4v4, just less team killing and more individual skill. As for not having dedicated game mode play lists in D2, that's beyond crap. The natural thing for Bungie to do was follow R6 and Overwatch with ranked seasons, but that would have required effort, so no way. And the chance to improve trials to make it more accessible and fun for all was missed. So D1 PvP beats D2, but only cos of Iron Banner, both of them are pretty poor examples of PvP
  9. I'm pretty much Core all the way. I will play hardcore but my go to is Core. I've never really understood how HC fixes the lag issues people complain about in Core. Out of choice I would only wander into HC to do gun challenges, and even then I would feel like I was cheating 😄. Just got the Karabien one hit kills done in Core, even though that is basically 100 headshots, would have been a breeze in HC. Not saying I won't do pistols and shotguns in HC but then I'll be pissed off by people running around with SMGs. My issue with HC is that it's half a game. The difference in weapons becomes smaller, so they are less individual. The perk list becomes smaller as some become useless. People get more campy. No mini map, I paid for a mini map so give me a mini map!
  10. Much as Gary says, I think game is too dumbed down in its key systems to be 'patched' back to life. I hope I am wrong as I actually think they produced some pretty good content, just the replay value is limited due to the weapons/armour systems being too simple. Bungie also seem to have developed an alarming habit of screwing up with every release they do: Calus glitch in the vanilla game ( is this even patched?) Iron banner loot system everyone hated The faction rallies contest being pointless Expansion pack locked people out of vanilla content That new exotic that was stupidly powerful in the crucible The Dawning loot being heavily locked behind a paywall The dawning thing was probably not a screw up, they were maybe just testing the boundaries of Eververse, given the level of rebellion on their own forum I hope they have learned from that. Personally I can't see them getting the game going in the right direction until they actually recognise what a screw up the whole thing is. Needs a serious reboot to get anywhere near D1. I keep my eye on it, as I live in hope, but can't see any reason to log on or buy the expansion. I'd rather just be a data point on a graph in Bungie Towers, showing the millions who played D1 for thousands of hours over 3 years but have dropped D2 inside 3 months. I'm sure that graph exists, and it's probably the only hope for D2
  11. Looking forward to this, as I recall Resistance was a great map and a new war map would be nice, War is fun but gets a bit samey
  12. The dawning seems to have sparked a huge protest against eververse on the Bungie destiny forum, something like 24 pages of anti eververse topics, quite funny to see.
  13. Merry Xmas everyone
  14. Its skewed towards snipers I think .It sucks as more often than not it’s just a lucky collateral. My favourite play of the game was someone killing from the glitch spot in Point du Hoc. Let’s highlight failure ! I also got a really embarrassing one. Was doing horribly on Gustav , but got a double sniper. Play of the game , my double snipe, then scoreboard shows me on 3-18. So awesome for I second , absolutely terrible for the rest of the game, thanks for pointing it out
  15. Armoured helps with explosions and fire but shouldn’t help with bullets.
  16. double post
  17. Yes it’s Chinatown from MW, although I never played that game so it’s new to me. I like it, but map knowledge is key
  18. Seems like a good move, just hope they can pull the game out the bargain bin to capitalise on this
  19. James I watched the first 10 minutes of the video, his big issues with it ( in those 10 minutes) were: there is a loading screen to get to HQ which is not optional Loot boxes drop duplicates ( an entirely optional part of the game , and actually a good way of getting CoD points to buy xp contracts) the menus are a bit messy and not in the same order as previous CoD UAvs take 500 points which is hard he doesn't like the diviision/basic training system, as opposed to normal pick 10 The first three are just so not an issue, the UAV thing is probably a good thing, and the last one actually forces people out of their comfort zone. I get some people don't like it, but its not that much of a big deal to me. i gave up at that point ( he actually said ' this may seem like nitpicking', which it totally did). People seem to ignore the best bits of this CoD, it's boots on the ground, and it's pretty solid in my view.
  20. Have watched a bit of the video, so much nit picking , gave up
  21. I haven’t watched the video but my immediate response on seeing the title of this thread was: No it isn’t, it’s fucking awesome! Having grown up with a binatone console ( look it up and weep for us deprived children of the 60s), being able to play a mp shooter with 11 other people and just milliseconds of lag, is just magic to me. Was the day I first played MW2, still is now. Sometimes the lag helps , sometimes it doesn’t. When it’s helping we all put it down to our skill, when it hurting it’s down to our opponents luck. Swings and roundabouts.
  22. Im sure it was done on purpose, I was encouraged by the fact they have realised it was totally out of order and responded pretty much immediately. Given the issues with the game and the lack of a communication to date I was quite pleased the jumped so quickly. Having said that I have heard tat people started getting refunds as the pay wall locked out some trophies which meant retailers had to give refunds. Perhaps this is why they jumped. my actual guess is there is a fire going on in Bungie HQ ,a plummeting player base , I would guess poor sales of the DLC, and it’s trashing by you tubers , has hopefully opened a few eyes at Bungie to the collassal disappointment this game is
  23. The suppressor thing is a strange design choice but I don’t actually mind it that much. Does mean I’m often running Airbourne but there is a design choice here in that the three main stealth elements (UAV immunity, suppressor, no footstep noise ) are not available , best you can do is 2 out of 3. Weird compared to other CoDs but I’m ok with it, even though max stealth was always my way.
  24. Armoured is fun for objective games. Kinda nice to be on B, have a red grenade land next to you and just shrug it off. Just don't use LMGs
