  1. 9 days... Not gonna lie I'm looking forward to this more than christmas eve πŸ˜‚
  2. I'm not actually watching the matches so I dunno, but seems we just can't score. I like how Keane is the one saying it as united were 1 spot above us on the table before the weekend as well. But then again he's always been a twat πŸ˜‚
  3. Don't know how many FG'ers have the game, but I figured one of these threads might still be helpful to some people. Sure, youtube and google covers pretty much everything, but there's always something that's left out and then there's also the dangers of spoilers when looking something up. So for my tips I will try to keep them spoiler free or at least add a warning when there is one. If you play AC Valhalla and have some useful tips to share, don't hesitate, post them up! Here's what I've found so far: 1. Synin the raven. This avian companion of yours is actually really useful. He's a bit clunky to use but he also has some pretty good sides. If you are in an area you haven't synchronized and want to know if there is anything to explore or any dangers around, simply summon Synin and take a look around. He will give you a very nice view of the surrounding area and can fly pretty far from your location to seek things out. You can also mark locations with him which will make it easier for you to get there. The other good thing with Synin is during certain instances you'll have to seach an area for an ally, location or enemy but the game doesn't tell you where that is. Summon Synin and fly around and it will show you a big blue circle. That's where you want to go! 2. Flyting. I thought this would be just another pointless minigame like the drinking contests, but it actually gives you more charisma which at times will help you out with dialogue options. So they are actually worth doing. 3. You can steal money back. If you have to pay an npc for anything, you can steal your money back off them if you are standing behind them. You might get caught, but if you spent a tidy sum and need the silver for other things it might be a risk worth taking. (Haven't checked if it works with shopkeepers) 4. Treasure hunts. Those golden dots on your map and compass? They're worth getting. I think I spent 90% of my first night playing this just hunting treasure. Some are easy to get to, others more complicated and I'll happily admit I had to youtube a couple of them, but down the line I'm glad I did. These treasures can be anything from suppleis for your settlement, materials to upgrade gear or just gear and are all worth taking the time to get. 5. Gear. There seems to be no "oh this piece of gear is so much better than this piece of gear" mentality in AC Valhalla. They all have their strengths and depending on playing style and what skills you pick you can run whatever set of weapons and armour that you want. Look on the bonuses the gear gives you and what bonuses the skills you pick gives you and find what suits you. I quite like this because it means you can use just about anything as long as it suits how you play. 6. Skills. You can reset your skills at any given time! This is actually quite huge. There's no complicated thing to get in order to do a full reset and no feeling of "Shit, I messed this up and should have picked something else". As I said about the gear, pick what suits your playing style, or what aligns the best with the gear you have equipped to maximize your stats if you want, got a new piece of gear that has a different bonus and needs you to reskill from light armour into heavy? Not a problem at all. Just reset! 8. Power levels. Grind, grind and grind some more. Just about anything gives you xp in AC Valhalla, and you'll need it. Getting your power levels up takes a bit of time and I've been to areas I really shouldn't have been in to get high level gear early on, which while worth it to me also took me hours because I was way in over my head against pretty much every enemy. So grind up power levels either by completing quests, exploring, fighting or treasure hunting. It'll make it a hell of a lot easier for you to explore the map early on. That's about the only things I can think of just now, but when I stumble upon something else I'll jot it down! Hopefully this helps someone out πŸ™‚
  4. That's dark... I can't really see the game getting another delay as I've seen numerous posts online of crates in stores full of copies of the game. We're getting closer boys! The hype train is pulling into the station and I've got a first class ticket after preordering it in the playstation store on saturday πŸ˜‚
  5. Yep, I’m in love with this game πŸ˜‚
  6. Well, I actually ended up picking it up yesterday after watching some videos on it. Only played about an hour so far and I spent most of it treasure hunting but I love it! Can't wait to have a proper session on it and explore more and actually progress the story πŸ˜‚
  7. I'm at the point where I've given up and just get people giftcards if they don't have specific wishes πŸ˜… Personally I'll be ordering the FG hoodie as an xmas gift to myself. Also pre-ordered Cyberpunk the other day for an early xmas present πŸ˜‰
  8. Has anyone actually got this? I was considering picking it up but I'm conflicted due to previous titles πŸ˜…
  9. I wont make it tonight so one of the striker spots will be open
  10. These are dropping on DayZ standalone? I’m guessing they’ll drop on pc first, hopefully ps4 will get them as well!
  11. We almost have a full starting XI by now πŸ˜‚
  12. There’s also races. With horses. Get the lads on for some horseraces on a friday πŸ˜‚ There’s a bunch of shit to do, we’ve just been focusing on the stuff that makes money. You could technically also just freeroam and hunt/fish and explore rather than do missions. Honestly some of the most fun I’ve had has been when we’ve attacked other players transporting goods to make money πŸ˜‚
  13. This can either be brilliant or just downright dreadful πŸ˜‚ I’ll hope for the former but expect the latter.
  14. Sergio Ramos has now scored 100 goals for Real Madrid after last nights CL match, you can say what you want about his personality and rather rough playstyle but what a player he's been for them over the years....
  15. Definetly a lot more fun now than when it first came out and you couldn't even spawn in without being lassoed by the nearest cunt on legs to be dragged behind his horse until you died. πŸ˜„
  16. I never got around to playing, was only Tom on when I was and then Cal asked if I was free to play other games. 5 mins later Tom told me Macca was on for clubs πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…
  17. Right, Lee’s away and I dunno how to make a calendar event, but I’m gonna be on around 7:30-8 uk time and hopefully so will some of you lads!
  18. I had no expectations going into this season after where we finished in the last one tbh... Anywhere close to top 6 in a season where the BPL seems to have returned to the 80’s I’ll see as decent πŸ˜‚
  19. 19 year old Traore with 5 of those 13. Good old Klaas-Jan with two at the age of 37 πŸ˜‚ Quality
  20. Well I’m definetly looking forward to hearing yours and the other people opting for the Nomad paths thoughts on it. I’m still leaning towards Corporate myself, but will give Nomad a try after my first playthrough πŸ˜‰
  21. We're a month away from the release of what I expect to be the best game I'll play this year and the hype I'm feeling surrounding it is growing by the day. I know most of you on here prefer online games, but to me a single player game with a great story just stands apart and CD Project Red are the goddamn masters of making them. Anyways, back on topic! Cyberpunk 2077.... Holy shit. It's happening soon and from the looks of it you'll get some pretty important choices to make right off the bat that will impact your skills and the story in a big way from what I've seen and read so far. Quick run down of the different "Lifepath" options here: Cyberpunk 2077 details weapons and origin story "life paths" in latest livestream WWW.EUROGAMER.NET So far all of the 3 options kind of appeal to me. They all come with perks I'd want and I'm a bit conflicted as to which one to chose. The good thing about this however is the replay possibility. The story and some characters will be different and unique depending on which path you take, meaning after hours spent exploring one path and completing it, you still have 2 unique paths to play around with. Now, given the information CD Project Red has given us and what they've told us about the lifepaths I'm slightly more leaning towards going the corporate route first. It just seems logical that that option would give me the most options in terms of power and wealth early on and would make for a slightly more relaxed playthrough to ease me into the game, althought I have a feeling it wont be easier because if you're set up for money and power, the bad guys will be as well. And that makes me think the corporate option might be harder πŸ˜… Nomad also has it's appeals. More knowledge of gear and cars is never a bad thing to have and the cars just look stunning... But from the info provided seems like the tougher option early on as you aren't set up for life in Night city. Street kid holds the least appeal to me. Yes knowing the city and all the degenerates that live there is usefull as hell. But it just comes off as the "Standard" backstory to me when it comes to other single player games where you start off as the lowest scum at the bottom of the barrel to work your way up. Here the corporate path just seems like it'll be more interesting. Anyways! They're giving us 3 different paths to explore and what I want to know from all of you lovely people planning to get the game is.... Which options appeals to you? What thoughts have you made yourself up about them and will you try all 3 or just stick to 1 or 2 of the paths available? Let me know your thoughts on life in Night City Samurai!
  22. Diego ForlΓ‘n reporting in. Fucking hyped for this! My first 15 matches of pro clubs on this I had 18 goals and 11 assists I think, looking forward to seeing that record go up πŸ˜‰ Need to double check the tactics we've done for my other club as we have to a degree figured out how to make AI stay defensive πŸ˜†
  23. As long as there’s a FG FC monday night football chat I’m happy πŸ˜‚
  24. My greatest moment in fifa 21 pro clubs so far πŸ˜‚ And I got nothing but shit from my teammates who claimed I could not have meant to do that 🀣
