    How do people feel about a sort of levy? Running the forum is important and costs money but it's what we use as a family'home' FGFGF is important cuz it's for the family that use the home whether their newbies or old codgers. So, unless it's a 'special case/emergency' why not use 10% of each donation and put it towards running costs. If you get too much (that's good because people have been generous) put some back in the pot. Let people opt out if they prefer but it just makes it simple for donors That's my £0.02. Any thoughts people?

    Rob, I just checked and you need to be TH6 to join in clan games. Don’t forget to request troops cuz we have some nice stuff if you have the space for them

    I don’t think so but it’s been a long while since I’ve done it. IIRC you look for the clan you want to join and request to join. When you do that a notification appears in the message stream with the option to accept or reject. If that doesn’t work I’ll change the setting to “let any random twat in” but then, due to the time difference and our two schedules I’ll have to spend time kicking out a load of people who thought we were nice and welcoming and got in with you!

    At the moment there's me (2 accounts), Rich, Kyle, Tommy, my mate Chris (2 accounts) and Simon who are the only active (to varying extents) players, with 20+ inactive but still shown as clan members I'm not keen on grinding walls etc. but Clan Games is good for me as it's lots of small - medium achievable challenges with a reasonable reward at the end of it. The 8 active accounts should easily achieve L5 reward but won't be able to reach L7 which is the highest level. Just jump in and try it!!

    Yeah, clan wars, for me, is better than actual attacks because you can use different tactics to achieve your aim rather than going for a total win. Something about using a few archers with a hero to get 1,250,000 elixir [emoji3][emoji106] Via the FG App

    If it was me, I’d change the memory to 16gb and do nothing else until you can afford to make complete step change that’s really noticeable. You’re happy with the monitor and presumably keyboard and mouse? If so, James recently dropped £1500 (?) on a good rig...save a bit more, maybe get some birthday donation dosh, etc and wait until you can afford the next level up because a grand is a lot to drop for a small improvement IMO
