  1. I've done very badly every one of the PvP modes. What primaries to you guys use? I was trying with the pulse riffle and my warlock. I could get hits a plenty but no kills.
  2. Who knew that a "heavy" guy in a leotard dancing would have that effect on you
  3. That's too bad. ACDC isn't ACDC without him. I always enjoyed playing their stuff. It isn't particularly difficult but it always sounds great.
  4. Have you checked to make sure that you network adapter driver is operating properly? Might want to check that and re-install it before you change any hardware.
  5. I'm at lower levels as well. I think played less than 10 hours so far. By the time I'm level 20 you guys probably will have done the entire game a couple of times
  6. I'm liking it but not loving it. It's a serious borderland (as noted by our resident owl) without as much of a storyline. The graphics and gameplay are outstanding. I haven't had a connection issue and you can solo the missions easy enough. I've just completed the earth missions and will be moving onto the moon. I have had fun in co-op missions. The world is much too small in my opinion. The missions much are too repetitive
  7. I'm just hoping they execute. It's not that hard to get a demo to work in a control environment
  8. Until they are married. Then they are just Crazy ........
  9. Considering AC is on its' 5th sequel there must be some people who like it.
  10. I don't think we have it because it because it is a free to play micro transaction game. If we had that no one would be buying CoD games and activision would have to kiss one of their Billion dollar franchise goodbye
  11. Call of duty Ghosts Borderlands 2 Batman Arkham asylum
  12. Don't know about the UK, but after about a month you have to send it in to get a warranty repair. The store is only responsible to sell you good in working order which I assume it was when you got i
  13. Just went everything was going great, it looks like PSN was hacked again http://www.polygon.com/2014/8/24/6062499/playstation-network-hack-attack
  14. That is called a Ribbon connector. It should not be bent in that manner but it doesn't necessarily mean that is the problem. The isolation between the wires would have to rupture in order for it to create a problem.
  15. Didn't the British conquer a number of Muslim countries? Karma's a bitch
  16. Also sounds like they are listening to the fans which is great. They seem to be trying hard to make it a success. Let's hope they execute well
  17. I did for the PS4
  18. I have it on pre-order. Just don't know if I will actually keep it. It looks stupid, but at least it looks fun
  19. Hey Mike, I would suggest that you start with Wikipedia which has a wealth of information and then you at the list of reference for each of the articles. You can then look up those books and see if they are available. You could also look at first year University programs. Some offer Mythology and try to determine which textbook they use. University text books are often expensive but they might have them at the library.
  20. it's very sad. It's kind of amazing that a person who studied drama at one of the most prestigious schools would also turn out to be so funny. Amazing talent all around
  21. What I saw looked like Crysis 3 meets CoD. The jumping, shields, melee and invisibility were all available in Crysis but the were not overpowered because they had a limit and drained energy. I'm still on the fence with any CoD. I've gotten rather bored with Video games lately. Even destiny got repetitive pretty quickly. I'll wait to see the user reviews.
  22. Here a site the lists the number of pre-orders for the USA if you are interested You'll see that destiny is by far the leader with about 1.2M orders on all platforms Call of duty (which is further away) has about 170K orders most of which are for the Xbox (one and 360). The PS3 orders for the game didn't even make the top 40? I guess it's an interesting indication that people might be ready to look at something new BF4 hardline doesn't make the list on any platform
  23. Origin is allowing people to play BF4 on the PC free for 1 week. I got the information from Battlelog here. I don't know if everyone will be able to view the information so it follows. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/news/view/bf4-game-time-for-pc/ Origin is also discounting the game significantly if you decide you wanted to purchase it. If nothing else it's a chance for those of you who have a decent PC to see why those of us who play the game are so pissed off at the total lack of quality Origin has just unveiled that the next title as part of their “Game Time” program is Battlefield 4! Starting today, gamers can download Battlefield 4 for free on PC (until August 14th at 10 AM PT). There’s never been a better time for new recruits to jump in and join us on the Battlefield. Here’s how Game Time works. Players can start downloading Battlefield 4 to their Origin Game Library starting today. From there, it’s up to them to decide when they want to start their “Game Time” clock – today, next week, next month, next year, whenever. From the minute you launch the game, your “Game Time” clock turns on, giving you full access to the game for one week — 168 hours.
  24. If they had match making you could pickup another player that has been put into the queue and complete the mission. Sort of like host migration works.
  25. 4+ hours straight is unhealthy as well. People already sit on their ass for too long during the day. It's even a problem for after school. You don't have 6 hrs straight to spare. When are those guys supposed to have diner and do home work if that is the target audience. Perhaps some parents would allow it but I wouldn't. If one of the kids was to tell me they aren't going to eat dinner because they have to play a game for another 2 hours, I'd unplug the console. Sounds like a stupid plan
