You can dead drop weapons (your own or enemies) to reduce your insured slot cooldown by 8 minutes per weapon

I’ve been stacking battle rage with a uav then popping the battle rage when appropriate, if you can get a streak it works really well and is extended with each kill. that’s the only real problem with dmz solo you have to be ready to die and lose all your kit, you can quite easily take out a squad if you get the drop on them but if a squad gets the drop on you then you are mostly stuffed. the good thing is that’s it’s reasonable easy to get kitted back up.

The AI seems to be fixed now, only had a couple of dmz games yesterday as I need to do the crossbow event challenges so have been doing some MP but they were much easier in the games I did do and I didn’t get swamped in reinforcements

I don’t think EVs are the solution to Petrol/Diesel/Oil situation as the downsides negate the positives, however they do serve as a stepping stone to getting there, that and they also get a large number of people buying new cars that they wouldn’t have otherwise………..

I thought a few times in dmz last night that I wasn’t getting kill cams when getting killed by operators, guess this explains that then!

Just had an interesting Exfil in All Mazrah and I'm sure I left another squad feeling quite confused. Had a mission to take out 2 operators with the kastov platform of weapons, I had called in my exfil at Al Bagra and took the high ground and spotted a player with my sniper took them down in a single shot so thought right lets run over closer and look to finish them with the vaznev I also had. I ran over and they had been revived I was behind the gas station and they were struggling with AI, I ran into the gas station and popped through the window downed and killed, ran out the back and around the side found another and did the same downed and killed, I could see a third but my exfil had a few seconds until it was leaving so I turned and ran for the exfil got to it with a single second to spare. As I was flying out I saw the third struggling with some AI outside the gas station but further away from the other two I had killed. I'm sure they were very confused why I killed them and ran off without even looting them! There is also the possibility that had I not sniped the first one they could have rushed me on the exfil. Honestly I could say that I was being noble in my intentions but really I didn't want to wait for another exfil and risk something similar happening to me with the next squad. I do hope the third was able to revive their teammates though.

Then they either bugged it or changed it part way through season 1 because I deployed into Building 21 countless times on a single keycard. Honestly though if it stays this way I can't really see myself going into Building 21 I'm not hunting Al Mazrah for a keycard or 40k from the buy to roll into Building 21 and die to God Tier bots immediately.

Building 21 now consumes an access card when you enter. So you need to either buy or loot one each time you want to take on Building 21

I was rolling in a 4 man yesterday and we called in three exfil and when we called it in this triggered two choppers worth of reinforcements, one of which landed right on the exfil spot. I haven’t managed a single exfil on the new map yet,

I feel like this will improve as you increase in rank you should be facing other players who also play the objective

I struggled to find a cash register on Ashika that's the main reason I switched back to Al Mazrah

AI's are crazy I just got spawn rushed by a group of around 8 AI's

I went for some DMZ on Ashika Island and man that map is tough, because it’s smaller and everyone spawns around the edge of the map and you have to push inwards to do basically anything you find that you come across other players really early on. I did some missions on Ashika and then dropped over to Al Mazrah and finished some more missions here, I finished with a few 6v6 games. Looking forward to jumping back into DMZ tonight and making progress towards that third insured weapon slot.

Reinforcements are crazy in this update, I cleared a stronghold for a mission yesterday, I intentionally picked a smaller one at the north of the quarry that I’m familiar with. It has a couple of riot shields and you can take many of them out through windows, but after it was cleared I was standing in the stronghold deciding my next move and just got swarmed by almost constant waves of tier 3 AI being dropped off from choppers, I had to make a dash out through a door on the opposite side of the stronghold in the end. changes to insured slots cooldowns are now 1,2 and 3 hours, the second slot unlocks at Tier 1 story mission of Black Mous, meaning you need to do Tier 2 on Legion and White Lotus then Tier 1 Black Mous, and third slot is available at any Tier 5 Story like before OR Tier 3 Story of Crown which is only for MW2 owners and unlocks at Tier 1 Story from Legion

You can now extract stronghold keycards from the DMZ to use in another deployment. I’ve also noticed that one of the new crown missions has a reward of the sattiq poppy farmer house I’m worried as I have PTSD from that mission in season 1 Ive also see new radiation zones in Al Mazrah at Rohan Oil and Saweh Village, I’ll bet the Saweh one is tough. I like how the missions are following the story from the season one missions and are very clearly set in the future from season 1

Anyone noticed that the MP game mode names have been modified today?

my experience was that the BP seemed to be related to time in game, it seemed to me that matches which lasted longer gave me more progress towards the BP although it was difficult to actually tell how much BP you were getting.

I’ve added ranked and hardcore to the poll. I’m interested to see what levelling is like in DMZ as I was at 240ish when I started playing originally.

I’m interested to try this, for sure I won’t be very good but the limited maps modes and weapons might be interesting. I’m also going to add this to my poll!

I’m really torn I don’t know where to go first when Season 2 drops, I’m interested to try Resurgence in Warzone, but also excited for the new map in DMZ but there is also the ole reliable 6v6 Multiplayer

In MWII scorestreaks everytime. You get points from objectives, assists and field upgrades. I'm also pretty sure that assists also includes UAV and CUAV assists,

That’s true but you don’t need to get the 3 safes in the same run as you extract the 100k

I’ve looked at and considered Tarkov however I feel as it seems a bit more hardcore, more technical and with much more depth which honestly is a good thing but for me I like the party style nature of DMZ. Whereby you can still have a good match even if you enter with nothing.

I had AI shoot my hostage in a match about a week ago, there was masses from all tiers outside of the building when I came out with the hostage. I know for sure if I found a random hostage and helo unattended I would certainly consider taking the hostage out.
