Ah darn it. How many new missions will there be? If not many then I'm not sure upgrading weapons is enough...you have to have something to aim for and a new raid is miles away. PvP trials may keep me in involved but its got to be more than one map. Who am i kidding, if everyone is still on this then it will still be enjoyable. Flawless raid anyone??? [emoji6]

That won't take long...when you lose 16k of blood echoes after getting through a country mile of stuff is excruciating. Yet somehow brilliant at the same time.

Yep, got that, thanks. The axe is proving the best weapon to use in combination with the pistol but I'm trying to use the hunter torch which works slightly better in this part.Just got the tool and its added a few points on to the attack which I'm sure will help...and will rejuvenate my health by +1

I'm going there right now!Also, this gun toting part is recking me. I got close to the end in a safe spot after 5/6 tries and then, as a dick, tried to kill that other hunter. Nearly had him and went for glory and got hammeres by the gun. I must get past this part tonight of it kills me. Will gems help massively?

Thanks Jordie, i was thinking you had to upgrade with blood shards first then you can use a gem but I've obviously missed a certain tool which would now make sense.

How do i use blood gems? I'm trying to use with my weapons but for some reaon i cant forge them together.

Got abit further over the last few nights. As Jason said on the other thread, Old Yarnham is a bitch and i need to find a way past that prick of machine gun dickhead. Didds - It's a frustrating start, i agree but thats why I'm still playing. Hoping, ney praying, to get to abit where i can understand more...and shoot and slash some monsters in a frickin awesome way.

I actually think it's a good thing.I was initially worried about the over-reliance on the primary but the way I play I'm hoping it will help me as I don't blow my special ammo. If you merrily go round and fire shotguns pellets then this should help you get better to play in a way you can't just rely on an OP gun. Hopefully it will mean camping and sniping fucks off which is great news as it ruins the few maps where you can do it. High impact, low rate of fire Felwinters Lie will work IMO to save ammo and get genuine kills. Don't like it? Get better. (There, i said it!) [emoji13]

Starting to parry and riposte better, which in turn means I'm getting through some of the story quicker. Item descriptions feel like cryptic clues most of the time (apart from the obvious ones) but i don't feel like its putting me off as the challenge of working out small parts to the map even if its to open up a loop back to the start feels really rewarding.

This game gets better every time i switch it on. Spent some time over the weekend running around trying to understand more areas. Had to beat the big beast on the bridge with another person, but was alot of fun slaying it. Lots to learn with the game mechanics and the surroundings a quite stunning whilst walking around.

Picked up dragons breath, only cos I've never had it. Engram turned into lucky raspberry for my hunter so at least something I've never had before.

No worries mate, thanks for the help so far. Now that I've got more use to locking on, its going fairly well. Strange that I can get better hits in with the axe but i admit that you can get caught out easily if you mistime your slash combo.What do the Spectre's do? They don't seem to do anything, just sometimes see a silhouette of a hunter. Overall, this game seems to be sticking with me and hooking me out of destiny for abit (shock). The no map, no objective really appeals to me. Obviously I must've been the only one who missed dark souls!

Err, that's where I'm going wrong then! I'll be on tonight if you're around to run through a few things.I think the dodging is good too, it seems to work well 2 do a combo with the axe immediately afterwards.
