  1. Week commencing 4th April Weekly Nightfall The Nexus is this week’s strike with Arc Burn and modifiers Specialist, Juggler, Ironclad. Specialist increases special weapon damage. Juggler prevents ammo drops for your equipped weapon. Ironclad increases the number of enemies with shields. Heroic playlist modifiers Solar Burn, Brawler, Chaff. Crucible playlists Zone Control. Wrath of the Machine raid challenge Vosik is the one hosting this week’s challenge on the Wrath of the Machine raid
  2. Thanks for sharing Rob. It would be great if we can do this at least once. However, it sucks that we can't party up across the Atlantic. Maybe we should resurrect the GameBattles one too? Via the FG App
  3. For the record SIVA strikes are so enjoyable. I mean the variance in how they shape up now, with the taken or SIVA change ups really add to it. Even with little puzzle steps like forming the portal with Vex. So glad I'm back on this. Via the FG App
  4. Did the tutorial and a few bronze missions with the engineer. It feels a little clunky with button options not obvious choices but that's probably just me. The jumping and dashing is a little square-shaped and not fluid as I'd hoped. I don't think it will take away from the fun factor too much. Progression seems quite difficult with low level players as you reach Wave 6 and 7. Could see if we could get some MP rounds in at some point later this week if anyone is around? May be better in a co-ordinated group. Via the FG App
  5. Crispy, Stretch and I ran a few SIVA strikes last night, only for a few hours and it was really profitable. Gained 6 light to 387 now. Dropped a Dragon's Breath as well. Clearly we're all getting nearer to a level where we can attempt some raids this week. Who's around this week so I can see if I can help sort a few out, even if they are normal to start so we get the hang of it again? Via the FG App
  6. After Moana got delivered and watched this morning, took the boy to the cinema to watch Power Rangers today. Really love these type of films and whilst I think it was a different to what was expected; the rangers backgrounds are a little badder than expected of rangers and it takes a while to see them but it was worth it to see the spinetingly moment when they come together. Good casual watch. Via the FG App
  7. Who said Disney can't make films. Just watched Moana with the kids and it's right up there with the best of them. Fantastic story and very well made. Don't normally like ones with songs either but they complimented the film and specific scenes extremely well. Via the FG App
  8. Would love the collectors edition but that price is ridiculous. If I could get the bag separately, I would. Via the FG App

  10. A game that needs no introduction. A mix between Final Fight and Double Dragon (yes I admit it is, even though I don't like to) with cutting edge graphics at the time. A very basic model of a RPG game with linear 2D levels left to right worked magically as Axel (I was only him) could create multiple combos through the 3 buttons available. Released in 1991, it was cutting edge for its time and great storyline to start with too. Main charcters were three young former police officers (Axel, Blaze, and Adam) and Mr. X, the evil mastermind. It was also the only game in the series to feature a special attack that defeats all non-boss enemies on screen - who could forget the police car and rocket launcher. The three playable characters in the game: Adam Hunter possesses high power and jump ability, but slow movement. Axel Stone is high-powered and moves quickly, but has poor jump ability. Blaze Fielding moves faster than the others and has good jump ability, but is the weakest character. There was 8 levels, I only ever got to the last level once and got decimated by Mr. X. You could also pick up knives, bottles and pipes. Super addictive game that holds it's replayability value even to this day.
  11. After the success of the batman Telltale series, the Guardians gets a game series dedicated to them. 5 episodes with the first being released on April 18th for all platforms including PC and app stores for 4.99. Episode One is called Tangled up in Blue. Below trailer just released for the whole series.
  12. The Fate of the Furious, the eighth film in The Fast and the Furious series, will be out next month. Also coming next month is new Rocket League DLC featuring Dom Toretto's "Ice Charger" as a premium Battle-Car. The package will also include exclusive Wheels and six unique Decals: Clean Cut, Crazy Sandwich, Flames, Rakugaki, Rally, and CCCXL. They really do add pretty cool and neat things to this game. Great to see them partner up with the film. They'll need the much needed investment to pump ibto their infrastructure to support further servers with the growing fanbase and number of players.
  13. Not sure if Cyberpunk will show. They are making good progress but are way off an outside view of their product. Now Destiny 2 is out it would be good to find a few more insightful details about it. Also, forgot about Shenmue 3. They must have a few minutes of a polished sequence to show by now. Via the FG App
  14. Ah okay, so lots of property to be had. Do you know how many types of property I need to buy / how many heist trees? Via the FG App
  15. Any North Americans get a beta code yet? Apparently they are dropping now and its a 13GB download. Via the FG App

  17. I don't think many people don't buy games just because its Ubisoft though. Remember, most of us who discuss this stuff aren't the typical gamer. If they like the look of it, they'll buy it. The gamer market doesn't have much loyalty and principles if you ask me. Hopefully the sign of the times will show more iterative changes will happen rather than a game developed once and left exactly how it is. Gamers will always critique and want better.
  18. Shame it requires 4 everytime and not a few more so you can vary the missions depending on how many is online. So far the best heist was the pretend jail run where the variant of jobs are extremely different, including plane and helicopter rides which is all very well laid out. There's also not much you can skip or leave out due to the way it is made. How many heists are there in total? Also, as I've only done the first (and only 2-man) heist will it make others I've taken part in available to me? Via the FG App
  19. Every time we have a race night for a few hours I forget to record it all and it kills me because these races with the new cars are bloody ace. I don't think you get the same fun out of normal cars. I'll try and stream next time round. Do you think we should try and arrange a night where we can get as many in the game as possible? Maybe next week sometime? Via the FG App
  20. I get you. They already have their money. Not playing on Monday won't change much, if anything at all. It begs the question how should the community get Ubisoft to listen? A subreddit raising key issues is an approach that worked for some bits in Destiny. Like what you said in a different thread about what Blizzard have, test servers must be the way to go going forward. Especially if you create games that you expect to last in the wider community for years to come. Via the FG App
  21. I'm with you but its such a shame as there isn't another game out right now that can replicate the hack/slash element that well. My half-full side of me says though, that at least Ubisoft are showing willing to put up what their plans are to improve the game ASAP. I really hope they get it right and hope the player base which is still there for the game will come back when it is more consistent in play.
  22. I'm seeing an increase in banning either gamers such as in For Honor if they took advantage of XP, and when certain competitive features aren't quite right. More support for the community when feedback is received on cheating and unfair play is taking place can only be a good thing. Building on this feedback in a regular format is where I hope it lands. As it clearly links to the gaming world on the competitive scene growing by the day, i hope they don't take it too far. Overwatch, for example, does nearly all great things an FPS needs extremely well and with simplicity. However, imo they don't get right the banning system, system kicks you out of a game, a 10 minute ban exists. Do it again and it increases. If clan features were created I feel this could solve the Overwatch issue and others going forward.
  23. WipEout Omega Collection will release on the PlayStation 4 on 6th June in North America and 7th June in Europe, with pre-orders rolling out on the PlayStation Store now. The compilation – a collection of remastered versions of WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury, and WipEout 2048 – will boast split-screen multiplayer and will be playable in 4K on the PS4 Pro. The game will cost $39.99 in the United States and £29.99 in Europe. There'll be licensed music from Swedish House Mafia, Chemical Brothers, and The Prodigy. If you pre-order the game from the PlayStation Store now, you'll get the following dynamic theme:
  24. On the subreddit of For Honor there is a massive boycott preparing for Monday 3rd April 10am BST / 5am EDT. Players will not play For Honor for at least 24 hours and some will stay away longer until they get some answers. Loads of players are fed up with the combination of shitty connection, lobby matchmaking which isn't working correctly, Peacemaker being OP for far too long...the list seems to go on. I can sympathise with the lobby system, that is real shit for me. The community pressure seems to have paid off though, Ubisoft have a stream now set up to address priority things, 1pm EDT / 6pm BST. Good on them. There's enough games to play whilst they wait for some action and ETA from Ubisoft.
