Okay. Let's see who is looking to get it and who isn't. Personally, the beta weren't all that bad and I buy games now to play socially more than ever before, so I'll be buying this. I think it has way more playability than IW ever has. Won't be playing it extensively, but certainly whenever we can get a group together....that is if people here will be buying it this time round? *holds ears waiting for bitchy cod sounds to happen*

W/C October 10th Weekly Nightfall This week’s strike is the Inverted Spire, with modifiers Attrition, and Timewarp: Killing Time. Attrition greatly reduces health and shield regeneration. Defeating enemies will sometimes create light wells that you can collect to restore health and shields. As for Killing Time, you basically get to extend the mission timer by killing enemies. Flashpoint We’re back on Nessus this week for the Flashpoint. All you need to do is complete Public Events to finish it. You can get it done faster if know how to trigger Heroic objectives of these Public Events. Meditations Combustion: Hawthorne’s waiting on the cliffs above the salt mines. Help her get the word out: we rally at the Farm. Chosen: the Almighty is finished. Time to go home, save the Traveler, take back the City, and end this war. Be brave. Hope: Commander Zavala is building a resistance at a moon of Saturn. Make contact and join the fight. Call to Arms The weekly Crucible quest is same as always; play a few matches (usually 5-7) to get a Powerful Engram. Iron Banner On for the entire week, you can obtain all new gear and weapons by selecting the Iron Banner option, which is the game mode Control.

PES wrapped up a deal with Arsenal now. If it could just get the chequebook out for the others just watch the horde of people flock to this game from FIFA.

How and why I couldn't find a thread on this seems strange as I thought I put up the E3 video somewhere. This game is going to be epic, but heard today it is more likely to have a 2019 release date. Bummer. I'm really hoping to here more about it and what the MP has on offer. No doubt the SP campaign will be a killer like the first. E3 Trailer

Nearly 2 million concurrent playerson Steam now. Part of me thinks if I was the developer, I wouldn't be going exclusive with Microsoft. I think if they delay themselves further into the PS4 market then they'll lose out to Fortnite and other games that would have had the time to develop this game mode into their game.

Contrary to what most people think about my views on Destiny, i'm quite unhappy and a few things as to why they couldn't have been there from Day 1. Yes, of course i'm still really enjoying the game, mainly because we have a large group of people we can hook up with and play different activities. I played with Pat the other night in the first time in a long time which was a nice catch up and a relaxing few games of Crucible. However, whilst its relaxing, it clearly missing goals and objectives for you to aim for, chase for and be lucky with RNG. Like Chris said, a lot of the changes made from D1 to D2 are restricting play, but more interestingly consicously restricted. I'm quite relaxed about it all though because I geniunely believe we will get many updates to what things we want to see back. Strike specific loot, more quests with progression loot available, a crucible playlist available, etc. For me, they have fundamentally had to follow what most games will go in the future - release a stripped back package, then incrementally release free updates and enhancements that extend the game, most of which many people here will say 'it's fantastic its there but why wasn't it available in the base game'. Sounds a familiar view from D1? Honestly, they will aim to have a game that is full with content like D1 is if you bought D1 brand new right now. It just takes time because of the way they are making games last these days. It won't move me away from Destiny as I have so much to do in terms of characters and exploring around each planet, however its helping me to learn not to grind it too hard so I get stale and get grumpy I have nothing to do. The clan stuff is brilliant btw. We need to take more advantage of how we understand what people need what activities and work together to achieve this. It increases the goals pool for us all as their goals become ours.

Epic suggestion there Mike, i'll look into it. The Compass and callouts - One of the most important. When in a group the quickest way to get attention and focus fire on a sole or other team flanking you is a callout to the number based on the direction they are on the compass. This has been a massive help towards working together and getting further as a team.

Even though its rock solid, the 1930's styled game has racked up 300k downloads on Steam so far. Its a shame its exclusive to PC and Xbox though. I think i'd get proper fucked off with it very quickly as I probably couldn't get past the first level.

I'll see if I can find time tomorrow to set up some more times to run the raid and practice specific parts if people want that? Give me times if there is specific ones you want me to put up or more than happy for you guys to stick one up on the Calendar.

Prestige raid was due at the rest tomorrow but has now been delayed until Wednesday, October 18 at the previously set time of 10am PT (1pm ET, 6pm BST, 7pm CEST). Apparently Bungie took to their forums to advise that the delay is a result of an exploit that would cause encounters to be easier than they were intended. “To allow time to fix this issue, we are delaying the start of the Prestige Raid until next week,” I personally thought they would be buying time to change the progression for the loot last minute. I'd like to think we will be getting some sort of changes upcoming now as after Iron Banner there isn't anything else planned.
