  1. i'm sure people can along the way @Kemp210. Just may take some time as we're trying to get everyone through it so people feel more comfortable to do in different groups too.
  2. Right, following the success of the World Cup Fantasy Football, i'm suggesting we do one for the upcoming season but give it a real good push. In previous years about 3 or 4 of us have done it but the football fans out there in FG land would love this so you just need to show your support! We had 11 people for the World Cup, it would be brilliant to get way more than that this time round. If we get large numbers, i'll look to do the same as before and see if we can offer a couple of prizes along with it. No guarantees but people who know me, will know that i'll do my best to do this. I think we'll end up using a free 3rd party Fantasy Football app so it can be easier to manage on the go. I know I could do the spreadsheet again, similar to the World Cup but that would be a ballache for me and I think you guys would prefer something more flashy and interactive. So, let's get a roll call going! Also, any specific things you want to do with this then just let me know! Thanks all!   3. I tried really late last night with @Bluebear and @Horrible_Hector but just couldn't nail it. The jumping puzzle just takes a little time to learn and you've got to try not to die too much. If you can finish the jumping puzzle somewhere between 12 and 15 minutes to go then there's a chance to do it. Thanks Hector for helping and persisting with us whilst we learnt the route! I would suggest most newbies to this mission to not worry about your first run. Just get the jumping puzzle route down in your head so you know which ways to go.

As said in the trophy thread, we'll get some infographics done to highlight what they all mean.
  5. Not available on PS4 yet - so disappointing as the kids play it more on that than the Switch currently. Boo.
  6. Not worried too much about glimmer. It's pretty easy to obtain i'm finding. Just don't go buying anything stupidly expensive in the week before. Motes. Man, they were okay you know. Especially upgrading weapons. However... no, no and NO. I never liked Heavy Synths. It stopped so many raid stages to wait for the cooldown and if somebody ran out, everyone would get pissy with them and then have to wait for them to leave, go to the Tower, buy a few more, then jump back in. I've never had a moment where I think 'damn, I need a heavy synth'. There's more yellow bars around these days that drop heavy and ways for teams to do quick ammo runs if you're really desperate. I can only think of one encounter you would do this more often than necessary which is Dogs phase on Leviathan. Contrary to most Destiny features, not all Destiny 1 stuff is better than Destiny 2 things if you really think about it.
  7. Mentioned to the few people on OCuk that we have a thread here for suggestions and different things to try. They mentioned about getting rid of catch up but I geniunely can't see us doing that. The whole point of FG GTA Races is to make as much fun and carnage as possible, so you need everybody as close together as possible. I'd love to find the names of some of the customer races that people have made. There is one which we can be big Fagwagons or bikes on the same track with lots of wind turbines - that one is hilarious. Any other suggestions would be awesome to have ahead of the next one.
  8. Good idea for a topic Chris. I think we also need to help as many people get to 385 as we can. As the first DLC is a must, I'm not 100% certain you can play Forsaken without doing the main campaign and dlc stories. Plus in Gambit, your power will matter against PvE parts, not the PvP enemies. Also, when Iron Banner and Trials come back post Forsaken release power will matter for the first time since Destiny 1. I doubt it now Dave. They're pretty set on Tokens and it is the unified, easier to understand, approach. Yeah, you were good at that! I did it a little at the first DLC but tbh I want this Forsaken update to last. I think it will do, more than any other DLC but I don't want to fully overdo my preparation. I've got a ton of shards now and I've still got a number of initial missions to do, like and Rat King. I'd also think about hording Bright Dust - get through your shaders you don't want and pile up the dust. There's going to be some decent cosmetic stuff on Day 1 that people will want too.

Around 2ish hours as we took some breaks around Dogs and got Calus down to the wire about 3 times and then wipes followed. Thought Dave's image was quite fitting.

  12. So its milestones, raid drops and some random exotic drops are what you need. The first 2 drops in Raid Lair 1 give the easiest chests to open. We'll try and get you those drops
  13. They need more exclusive games first, not another version of their console.
  14. TP Link ones as they seem the most cost effective ones. I think mine were about 40/50 quid. Not had any problems with mine - however @Diddums or @crispymorgan might say that there are better makes available.
  15. Just seen a video that Mesa Sean shared that shaves off valuable minutes in the jumping phase. Sounds like around 5/6 minutes left is helpful at the end bosses.

  17. Its been a while for a raid so we managed to get one going around 10pmish on Wednesday. Managed to get @Misneach_ some much needed powerful gear and also took another FGer, Kempy (one of @Amnotright's old army buddies) through his first ever Leviathan Raid. My bad for nearly falling asleep again! Really appreciate the support to other FGers , @SensaiNemesis, @Horrible_Hector and @Rico. @Plumbers Crack Dave, not forgotten about you like all the rest that need and want to run one. @IPSWICH HIGASHI texts me the other day to see if I can get one going tonight as his wife is away on a hen do so i'm trying to sort one for later for him. We're making our way to what we always wanted to do - help each other achieve high endgame activities - let's keep it going and I appreciate people that have run many raids to come back to help others not so fortunate with time constraints and family commitments.

  19. @Sabatine on PC has ran it and mentioned that the Catalyst progression is as follows: The catalyst requires you to open hidden loot chests within the mission - you get 2% catalyst completion per chest. You also get 24% completion for clearing the Heroic mission once per week. So you can get a max for 36% catalyst progression per week. That means theres quite abit of replayability in the mission. Equally normal mission is 380LL enemies, Heroic is 400LL. Yikes.

I've posted an update in the GTA Racing thread but my takeaway thoughts for this are: - Weekly still works but you could move to fortnightly (don't think you need to though) - You don't have to play every week but clearly the more there are the better - 2ish hours seems more like what you could. People starting to get burned out / wanting to llay something else. 8 til 10 next time perhaps? - The NASCAR races still are awesome. Last car destroyed is great. Starting there for a few races always many lolz - Would've been nice to see the new guys saying hi here and giving views on what to change next time
  21. Great FG GTA Friday last night everyone. Nascar was quite fun again but even better when we put on last car explosion every 60 seconds. Hearing people panic like buggery to catch up was hilarious. And thanks to @crispymorgan for smashing me mid-air just before the seconds ran down. Bastard.   24. It actually exists. They've done an awesome job with this. Public Event completion, then kill Urzok tonopen a portal. Puzzle jumping for over 5 minutes then 3 rounds of hard Taken enemies to reach 3 final bosses. 20 minutes to complete it. You'll absolutely want to be 385 or as close to 385 as possible. Datto below has done a video of their completion and clearly shows how difficult it is right now. The gun is OP as hell and I love the fact it has an heroic version then available for the catalyst. Bungie, if you had 3 or 4 of these dotted aroubd the world I think you'd be getting major plaudits on the implementation of these hidden missions.
  25. Good initially but it felt like it got stale very quickly. I didn't give it enough time tbh as I know it has tons and tons of loot to get and different armour sets to grind for. Just felt the UI could do with a little support for new MH players to the scene like me.
