  1. I may not be on Destiny Monday but if I am it'd be better to do your weekly updates Steffen considering reset is Tuesday.
  2. I took a pot shot at the name, its more likely to be Dave. However, now thinking about it, we should call another one Pyjamas...
  3. His name is Mike.
  4. Glad to see you here @UpZz_o!! Are you into any other games then Steffen? I know certainly from some of the other Destiny folk it's been great to hear you've helped them through a number of activities already! Take a look around and make sure yourself at home. Great to have another addition to the FG family 👍 Lee
  5. My opinion: Positives Great that they can decouple this so quickly and respond yet again in a snap to feedback Negatives A ghost and an emblem for something that is freaking difficult to crack doesn't seem the right rewards Whilst responding and changing the game so quickly is great, you can't keep making the initial mistake
  6. Just got the update from Bungie website: Today, at 2PM Pacific Time, the Bergusia Forge will be unlocked for all players who own the Annual Pass. While coming together as a community to solve puzzles can be fun, setting this puzzle up as a gate between you and new content that you want to play has not been an ideal experience. As such, we will be decoupling the puzzle from the final offering of the Black Armory. All Annual Pass owners will be able to experience the Bergusia Forge when the puzzle is solved or when the deadline expires - whichever happens first. We realize that many of you have been working hard to solve the puzzle of the Niobe Labs. Whatever the outcome, it will remain open for Annual Pass owners who still want to test their problem solving skills. There is a Ghost and an Emblem to earn as evidence that you completed the challenge. We love trying new things with Destiny, but we’re also flexible enough to pivot when you point out room for improvement. We’ll continue to monitor the conversation about this event and learn from your feedback as we create future content releases. Thanks for playing. Enjoy the final forge.
  7. Someone done it Chad?!
  8. Don't worry. Stretch and myself were stuck on trying to see the whole screen on our Tv's so couldn't see half the indicators! 😂
  9. Couldn't agree more. Although, my positive side says I frickin hope we could get something still as an appreciation to when you complete Niobe Labs, since it is replayable. Just hope it's not one of those moments when they had a really great new Public Event on Mercury only for 2 Tokens and a Blue engram meme to stick forever. Has anyone tried any parts? I know @reaper-2201 and @Bluebear we're trying certain parts last night.
  10. New Event is up. January 8th - January 21st. Looks like by playing specific activities and winning matches across quickplay and competitive means you can obtain new skin and sprays for Ana. Really neat idea and it feels like a test in the water for different challenges on how to keep Overwatch relevant and a game income back to. I may give it a go as I do enjoy playing Ana. Thoughts? Anyone tried it yet?
  11. So, yesterday was the first day of a new content event, if you can call it that. Many expected to jump into some type of different missions and maybe an element of problem solving to finally unlock the 4th hidden Forge. Bungie came out to say the following tweet. The overwhelming response to this over the last 24 hours is a somewhat mixed response to say the least, and I understandably agree why. The picture below just shows you how much of this puzzle is a huge positive to all the Raid Secrets Guardians out there that have buckets of time on their hands. To everyone else, there wasn't much stuff to really be able to do. No gun fights or boss mechanics (so far) to beat. I suppose it swings in roundabouts - content was unlocked when the first people completed the Last Wish Raid. They had to be the highly skilled ones, however everyone could at least get into the game and feel like they were trying to beat it and learn mechanics for later attempts. This is an utter mind blow of a puzzle so I fear the longer this goes on, the majority of Destiny's community will feel like it's another dry, new content day release. I get that. If I didn't have my milestones and objectives to do with other stuff then I'd feel 100% the same nothingness feel. I really REALLY hope the forge that is eventually unlocked is well worth the wait.
  12. It feels more closer to Warframe than Destiny. They've said it wants to allow you not be always about guns so abilities can be essentially spammed on certain build types. Good in one sense but I kind of feel it's trying too hard to be something it isn't. A little like Destiny can feel sometimes. Far better in a party where attacks can be co-ordinated.
  13. Can not wait for this. I love how they've done this remake.
  14. Thanks to @Kemp210 last night to help me catch up a little and nearly do all the steps to unlock the third forge. I enjoyed doing the steps and it helps with someone knowing how to run through in the most efficient way. After some time off games due to Xmas and holidays, it was nice to get back into it - I did feel overwhelmed by a lot of the stuff going on. How is everyone else that is still playing Destiny going? I'd like to set up some raid times now I'm back too. Don't care which, just enjoyable to run a few as we didn't get that chance over Xmas which I expected us to have. I'll put up my thoughts about Niobe Labs in a separate thread.
  15. Well. I'd like to thank you all in participating in the laughing at Lee moments. I've got to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Let me rephrase actually. I was delighted to be caught in a loop of being thirsty, then getting too cold, then starving to death, finding 7 berries, then thirsty and dying again, then getting attacked and dying from a little rat dino, then starving again... And that was all before I thought a dead Diddums was a jellyfish. Ffs.
  16. Hi All, We've had a fantastic year in 2018 and whilst we've managed to achieve a lot of things this year, I can't deny its been a hard slog. Thank you to every single one of you that has been a continued support, this place really wouldn't exist if you all didn't contribute and enjoy being a part of this place. With a new year starting, there are many things that people have asked for and at the same time there's been many changes I'd love to see but life has a funny way of getting in the way of these things (plus, my brain can only stay active so long into the night). This is also coupled with regular people wanting to keep the support going and chip in to play more of a role in making FG something bigger, better and greater for all of us. This is something i've been wanting to do for some time and its great we can now do this. We'll now have a team of people that deserve to be called admins that will help make changes and drive things forward alongside myself. @crispymorgan, @tronic44 and @phil bottle will become new admins with immediate effect. I think all the regulars know these guys and they are all very much deserving FGers that will get this place continually moving in the right direction. I'm also delighted to say that @Diddums is going to play much more of a role going forward too, just like the good old days, which i'm extremely happy about Does this mean what I've been doing over the past few years will change? Not at all. In fact I think things will significantly get even better because with a team of people that are FG through and through, you will see new features, content, people...everything. I won't ever give up on this place and neither should anyone else. Our home is here to stay. There'll be more specifics on what things we can plan to change and make better here coming over the next few weeks. For now though, I hope you can support me by saying well done and a massive thank you to the guys stepping up and becoming part of the Admin FG Team. GGFG
  17. Here's the first look at it. Seems to look more like a PC Tower to me.....
  18. We're clearly doing this wrong. I'll set up an account for Michael Jackson later. With a silver glittery glove as my avatar.
  19. Oh, that's easy then. Can you reassign the original button? Or will that screw up the bind?
  20. The beta starts today and details will be revealed for this game as part if the livestream later today. It seems to be evolution of Little Big Planet so you can create your own game within the game itself. I've found the gameplay from E3 that looks pretty neat. Not sure what to make of it as the concept always sounds amazing but I never was ever enthused about Little Big Planet. Anyone wanting to try the beta?
  21. I don't feel the same way about Blops 4 price unfortunately mate. I played campaigns before I met you guys. Now I never touch them and don't care for them. Once they did the Modern Warfare storyline and ended it, nothing compares to that for me. Slight derail, but is it just the amount of maps and campaign that make you feel shortchanged? If the gunplay is good, which it is, and there's plenty of challenges to go after I'm not sure what else I want from an FPS. I can't make that comparison, sorry James. Warfare has a different business model so if rather be annoyed about it for Robs reason regarding game-changing microtransactions.
  22. If you guys want to switch from one game to the next and you didn't have them on for the first game, how quick is it to set them up? Do they remember game present button changes from the first time you used them? These seem to make perfect sense to buy rather than a SCUF based on your reviews.
  23. I'm all for trying new things [emoji2] Is there a setup cost for the server btw?
  24. Make sure you've added the others Dave and we'll see if we can get a party night going next week sometime, if not before with the others.
