So the first FGer Game Choice didn't go exactly to plan - but hey, when you ask the amount of reprobates here to check their game is updated and working you know how that goes 🙈 Having said that, those that could get on to play Blackout it 'twas still some good laughs and banter had. Much better when we went 4 teams of 2 or even solo. I still can't get over how I took out Matty, Kiwi AND Sebba to win that match. 3 of the most regular CoD MLG Allstars downed by the deadeye rookie 😎😂 I'll hopefully get the clip uploaded at some point later I'd love it if there was a way to change the timer or allow more than 12 in a custom Blackout game. When we realised a plan of action to say all jump in a nearby location that worked far better. I know for sure nexttime people will at least have the game updated ahead of the next time. Only at FG would we have that calamity of updating, installing and copying 2 minutes before the games commenced. Big news and definitely excited muchly. Especially as this is more looking likely to be more focused on PvE rather than PvP. Theres a chance it could even sit alongside Overwatch 1. Overwatch has a massive story they could flush out and expand way further than the Brawls they've created already.

It really was. Unfortunately, my current Destiny fix and watching England in the semi final delayed my thoughts on it. Heres a quick breakdown I've grabbed but I'm pretty sure there's more. Destiny 2 will be free to play and includes everything will available to play virtually straight away F2P game is called Destiny 2 - New Light New Light will be everything from launch up until end of first Annual Pass Cross save confirmed for ALL platforms D2 will release on Steam exclusively D2 will be available on the new Google Stadia Shadowfall is the new DLC for Destiny The Moon will return in a new form Eris Morn is back! Season 8 will all significant changes to Crucible New maps, new gamemodes, changes from bottom up No trials....yet. The underlying changes need to be changed in PvP first New Seasons moving forward will be a la carte. You dont have to buy every season to play Destiny Theres quite abit more but that's from the top of my head and I couldn't watch the whole stream fully.

I'm not sure that's where I am after last night. Overall, it was a great performance littered with some terrible mistakes. We were on top and had the majority of the play. But to one big mistake like that is bad enough, and then make two is unforgivable. Still, I enjoy this England's play. Sancho imo was a real threat and I'd see him start most games for me. Stones though. Boy he is well off the radar. He makes too many mistakes for me and I'd agree that Chilwell looked nervous. He has potential though that it was worthy of a place. I might start a separate thread about VAR. Spoiled the game a little for me. As it keeps doing so.

I think its better there than in the character menu tabs but the whole design is too big and convoluted. Was struggling to see what I needed to focus on earlier.

Not for me Gaz, but agree to disagree. I agree with the majority about the Pursuits tab though. It hasn't been best change they just made although i'm sure people will get used to it.

I'm watching the stream shortly to see what happens. Rob sounds correct regarding PS4 cross save which is real shitty if so. I haven't heard any people upset over Eververse? In fact I think it went in pretty well - its pretty obvious they've made more stuff available, similar to how Fortnite looks to help support further development. Eververse is in a really good spot for now.

I believe as long as you get one of the timed stages done, chances of getting Menagerie loot will happen. Dont know 100% though. Last night our run we did we couldn't get any stage finished but then later on I did one with @Horrible_Hector @igotmollywhopped and @reaper-2201 and we finished a stage before the timer and I got the Calus Mini Tool. More info will start to come out though about more stuff and how to do it. The pros will want to complete stages so you can get efficient atbit and run it 3-4 times in an hour or so for farming specific drops. That's why I think it has a great balance.

Its like they've took all the fancy awesome fun mechanics we like from previous raids and put them all into a montage of madness. Top fun and something that can always be completed, not like a Raid.

What an awesome activity. Just what Destiny needed! Been waiting patiently for some years to get another 6 player activity outside of a raid and just Crucible Quickplay and my God, this is brilliantly put together. Very much has a feel like a Raid Lite. Matchmaking works perfectly, raid banners are useful before each encounter. EVERY encounter feels different but at the same time is a big ball of carnage - especially whilst we're slightly underpowered but Power does scale. There are at least 6/7 different encounters to face and even after that there is a super boss which was created in a super way with mechanics that aren't too difficult but enough to challenge you to work with some co-ordination to get the job done. They have nailed this and it's already my favourite thing to do after staying up til 2am to get a few runs with FGers going. It also make you feel like you can try a raid out and when things seem to going stale you can change it up and go into the 'Monj Tu' and crack some skulls in the most fun way possible. The Chalice has also been well thought out, offering a balance between allowing for different weapons and armour to drop with a way to guarantee drops that you want. Also has an upgrade tree which is something to work towards for even better rewards. Considering we had this drop and a new raid too, only until now you can see that the Annual Pass was the right way forward and far more better value for money than what they've offered in the past. This game has so much you can do now. But all I want to do is get my ass home play this damn mode! We need to all pick this game up immediately. It's so worth it right now. And more stuff to come too.

The Menagerie is a 6 player, matchmade activity with multiple rooms of "challenges" to fill up your meter to eventually face a final super boss with mechanics and carnage at each stage. Staged around the Leviathan belly and other areas that you may have seen on the Leviathan Raids, you travel to each section against different mechanics and different types of bosses. A new end boss will be introduced each week for the next 3 weeks and then a heroic version will become available which wont have matchmaking active due to the high power and co-ordination potentially required at that level.

They've got to reinvigorate the whole series imo. Great concept but when everything that sounded awesome to try was met with a 'Press Square' I stopped enjoying it very quickly.

There's a huge leak that happened yesterday related to tomorrow's reveal via in game dataminers. Speaking to @Horrible_Hector he believes they wanted everyone to find it which I can agree with totally. Here it is. It is a big DLC coming this fall when all that was expected was another annual pass. Excited muchly 😄

All raids are now available again after being out of action whilst the World First Race was ongoing. It was a great first day on the new season. I think it was hard to know at the start of the Annual Pass whether it was worth $30 but I think I can now say it has far more content than we've ever had in a year after a huge DLC and its been enjoyable in the main too.
