Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon 2 are what I want to play the most. Looking into the system, one of the things that sucks  is the SD card.

Last I heard from Kyle, he sounded good and was still doing his studies.
Horty is in a band, has a cool job and primarily plays on PC.
The twins, John and James are on PS4 with different names. Last I heard anyways. You could probably hit them up on facebook if you wanted to game with them. Pretty sure they are still into cod like you.
As for me, work and school sums up my days with a healthy mix of Netflix/Twitch here and there.

I thought it would be a good time to do a quick update as we are heading into one of the biggest weeks of gaming next with E3.
 
It's been a funny old year so far this year. Some real positives seen early in the year however, games have took a serious dive into Spring which has been felt around the community. We continue to say hi to new people coming in and old veterans coming back and saying hi. Great to see a few stick around of late too.
 
We should be proud that we've still managed to do quite a lot and have a lot of fun along the way. Over recent weeks we have:
 
- Loads of video montages, thanks to @tronic44 and @Greboth
- The born of GTA FG Friday - how epic have they been?!?
- The creation of the Forever Gaming Feel Good Fund with a bunch of people wthat now feel good 
- New quizzes made for the community
- A bunch of new members and a few old regulars have come back
 
That being said, I feel like we've lost a bit of drive of late. It does happen as it is Summer and for once, the UK is having decent weather, but with the hope of what comes next week, let's get back on track. I can't do this on my own and we all know how this is the best place to be when its buzzing.
 
Share what news you can from E3, get involved and support the new FGers feel at home. I want to push this place and all of us to have way more fun and get more complete a shed loads of activities together - from messing about in quickplay games, completing hard raids and joining up to do some charity streaming and real life meeting.

I've never been so uninterested in a game before. It's all the same things with different names and different skins. The things that are new... I'm just not interested in. Spike drones, tracking drones, a frag grenade that probably does no damage... Oh Call of Duty, I feel that the end is here for me.

I broke 330 miles for the year this week.  I'm at 336.6 miles for 2014, and I'd set my goal at 360 for the year.  Last month was low mileage due to illness, weather, and family outings, I ended up with less miles than any month other than January.  This month I'm back on it, though.
 
 
Now if I could just lose some weight.  I've lost body fat, but my actual weight hasn't changed much.  I'd rather have muscle than fat, don't get me wrong, but my knee doesn't know or care how the weight is stacked.  If I'm to go as long as possible without a replacement, I need to lose some actual tonnage.  I've been stuck in the 240's most of the year.  I guess I'm going to have to start lifting again, too.  I wanted to get my weight down and then start lifting, but I've been at this weight too long and need to change it up a bit.

How about no? I'm not getting this. Looks like Halo gave CoD a proper fuck and ended up with this 9 months later.
And the cloaking? Killzone did this, all it resulted in was people would use it to sit in corners and just stab when you ran past, I've no doubt it wont take long until the little shitkids that love their camping ways will start doing this. And the whole lazer thing seems utterly useless. The only thing I can think of using it for would be to troll my team mates by shooting them in the face with it and hopefully blinding them. Hell I'd take another ww2 or even a ww1 game over this any day. And just putting this out there since BO1 used the Vietnam war, why not use the Korean war? Anything but this futuristic little jizz stain.

I've never understood when people go on and on about how amazing the first Black Ops was. I thought it was the most boring shooter I've ever played. The guns were bland, the maps were forgettable, and the pro perk challenges were retarded.

Definitely the best place to start is The Iliad or The Odyssey! I took Classical Civilization as a subject at school, enjoyed it massively but was never good with dates, which is obviously an issue   Have fun with it dude, there's a hell of a lot to read about. Also, and this may sound obvious, but if you're going to buy any of these books make sure that they are translated.....unless you can read ancient Greek, then go ahead   but if you'd just like to read them off the web then this place has most stuff you'd want, especially when getting started. (it's also got both The Iliad and The Odyssey, translated)
