  1. Been playing vanilla PES 6 today via PCSX2 and this game still rocks! There's no scripting, the ball physics are entirely dynamic and no goal is ever the same. Can't wait to play eFootball where I have to pay for teams just to use in a friendly in the Konami Stadium and when I win, I unlock a new sock on the battle pass and gain some XP so I can grind out unlocking legends like Ruud Von MIstelrom and Roberto Larcos! Apparently master league will make its ways to eFootball as paid content but wont be available until later and there will only be 9 teams on release. Imagine not being able to play a mode day one that you've been playing for 25 years straight...
  2. I'm beginning to think this shitty 'online test' they did a few weeks ago is actually legit eFootball gameplay now and it looks absolutely atrocious. It looks like a mobile game. I reckon the Unreal transition has been a failure and the game being so shit they know they can't charge or it and don't want to tarnish the PES brand so the renamed it. That's my conspiracy theory🤣
  3. If PES sorry eFootball is as bad as it appears even free then I will likely grab FIFA on day one. At least it'll give me something to play on the PS5 as I've only used it twice in 3 months now.
  4. Anyone bought this yet or planning to do so? Seems Amazon's MMO has made some improvements since it's big reveal ages ago and now it's in closed beta. Sadly it seems to be bricking £1200 GPU's which is not a good pre-release advertisement.. Amazon's New World MMO is reportedly killing $1,500 Nvidia GPUs | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Bricking RTX 3090s in a graphics card drought is not a good look.
  5. So do Activision it seems😎 This will be the first COD in history that I wont be buying.
  6. They have a battle pass in a football game😂 As I said in the FIFA thread, this is an absolute disaster - they've killed off an iconic and highly established brand and replaced it with this e-shite. The colours are nauseating and the prospect of what's on offer makes me sick too. PES was the only brand that Konami had left that they hadn't wrecked but now it looks like they've completed the set. PES was brilliant in the 90's and then 3,4,5, and 6 were the best football games in existence. After a miserable transition into the 360/PS3 gen, they began to slowly turn it around and in the last 4 years they've salvaged the brand and took it as far as they could with the Fox Engine that was still way ahead of FIFA. They've given all that work and recognition up for fucking microtransactions. Thankfully the fantastic PES 6 modders will be out in force and working overtime to deliver a better game as they always do and it's great to see younger people turning to that too who never got to play it vanilla back in the day. RIP PES FUCKonami
  7. It's an absolute disaster - they've literally murdered an iconic brand spanning console generations for 25 years and replaced it with free to play shit. Looks like master league has gone too. Ghastly colours and the concept is not explained well. It's a bloody disgrace really. May as well call it Tom Clancy's e-Football. If this is the direction AAA publishers are taking their established brands then this generation of gaming is gonna be a dumpster fire of online service shite.
  8. Not sure what this is but it's absolute filth
  9. The 'gameplay reveal' stream yesterday had a tiny amount of gameplay and about 90 minutes of PR talk but here it is complied Animations look much better but aside from that it's not significantly different to the 21 PS5 upgrade.
  10. This was great back in the day and I hope it stands the test of time for stupidity
  11. So let me get this straight, people can go to nightclubs with no restrictions now and for the entire month of August in which wave 3 will hit but for September, club goers will be required by law to have a double-jab vaccine passport to gain entry!? The nightclub sector has been ignored for a year and a half and now all these knee-jerk decisions are being made. They could've easily been given 6 months to trial a gradual and controlled re-opening to at least garner some income but now they've seemingly been given 6 weeks to rake in the cash while cases rise significantly and then more business-threatening restrictions get enforced. Talk of football fans in venues of over 16,000 needing a vaccine passport too. Funny how nothing to this tune was mentioned about Wimbledon or Silverstone with both events having over 300,000 visitors but anyone going to Sunderland v Morecambe will have to jump through hoops to get in.
  12. Turns out the Steam Deck's final spec is now more impressive than Valve first listed | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Valve corrects the Steam Deck specs page, and its massive memory bandwidth is hugely important for its performance.
  13. Probably nothing significant and there's the added wow factor of seeing huge games being played on a handheld which should override any visual downgrades that do exist. 60fps is also another major factor especially seeing that we've been playing most games 30fps on the PS4/XB1 and those couldn't reach full 1080p potential.
  14. This is a great breakdown I thought I recongised Mark Rubin from COD and now I remember he was the brains behind Ghosts!
  15. I’ve been looking at some of the feedback from content creators along with gamers and oh my god they are not holding back - people are spectacularly pissed with this and Ubisoft. Complaints are rife about a non-existent Splinter Cell, the tacked-on misuse of Tom Clancy’s name and the sheer lack of ambition with the game being about 10 years of date conceptually. Can’t wait for Tom Clancy’s Assassin Creed WRLD next!
  16. Oh sorry Phil and cheers! I must have missed it whilst I was falling off my chair coming to terms with this crap🤣
  17. Oh go fuck yourselves Ubisoft! Tom Clancy must be turning in his grave seeing his name used in such a tacky and tasteless way. XDefiant is basically Ubisoft's answer to Call of Duty being a 6v6 deathmatch-based game. It's free to play and looks absolute trash. If this is a sign of things to come with Ubisoft's new 'Originals' strategy of free games then it'll be the death of them and good riddance. Their last F2P shooter Hyper Scape was dead after a couple of weeks and this will probably go the same way. Meanwhile the community are gagging for a new Splinter Cell and have been for over a decade now..
  18. Newcastle fans have started already - they lost 1-0 to Conference North side York City with their first team in a friendly and already 'Bruce out' chants and relegation talk have begun😂
  19. Chelsea with a full season under Tuchel will be very interesting - they were 2nd in the form table for the second half of the season since he took over bang on the midway point. I think City will win it but I think Liverpool may have a mediocre top 4 finish that possibly sees Klopp leave and the ageing squad split.
  20. 140,000 at Silverstone today and people being pinged so much that companies and critical local services are being forced to shut down because they don't have the staff to operate. Oh well, at least people got to watch noisy cars whiz past them in the unbearable heat after paying £385... It's amazing how sports have suddenly become immune to Covid yet if I walk past someone who was recently in contact with someone who suspected to have covid, I have to stay insidee for 10 days.
  21. What an embarrassment PM and chancellor U-turn: They now say they will isolate after uproar over 'stupid' plan to avoid staying home NEWS.SKY.COM Downing Street had said Mr Johnson and Mr Sunak will be taking in a pilot scheme whereby they will be tested daily and so do not have to quarantine - but that plan has now been scrapped. Basically Johnson and Sunak tried to get out of mandatory Isolation by creating this seemingly overnight 'pilot scheme' where they didn't have to isolate for 10 days because of regular internal testing yet the normal public have to isolate for 10 days no matter what. Another example of one rule for them as and when they please and another for everyone else. Third wave peak expected in late August and there doesn't exactly seem to be much fanfare regarding freedom day tomorrow or any concrete information regarding that either. They are basically just making up shit as they go along whereas other countries are now making moves on bringing back some restrictions and curfews.
  22. UK health secretary Sajid Javid tests positive for Covid-19 and has mild symptoms despite being double-jabbed. Hardly a good advert for ‘freedom day’ on Monday! You can’t make this shit up really!
