No crossplatform or generation sadly but it's absolutely solid otherwise, and amazing that the pass is free. One thing I'm not sure about is regarding EA Play and whether a member can invite someone for free or if two players need EA play. As long as one person owns the game fully, they can invite anyone who enables the pass though.

Been playing this over Christmas and it's an absolute blast! Wonderful co-op game that can be played with anyone either locally or online. Also only one user needs to own it and the partner can join with a free guest pass. It's mainly about platforming, puzzles and working together with communication. Wonderful visuals in a superbly designed world, charming story and really solid mechanics. Highly recommend picking this up if you haven't already and I can see why this won Game of the Year 2021!

He still looks like he's in Cyberpunk 2077 mode! Not sure if is true acting standard is finally becoming realised after all these years or if he just can't be arsed any more. He seems to be more one-dimensional than ever now and just playing himself rather than a character.

Bit of a daft response even if he was being semi-serious - let's not forget all lies the developers fed us regarding how dynamic the police were supposed to be leading up to release including.. https://gamerant.com/cyberpunk-2077-wanted-system-corrupt-police/ Police chases were going to be a part of the game including a fully-fledged law enforcement system but instead we got left with insta-spawning cops triggered upon alert in the cheapest and laziest way possible. Aside from a couple of scripted sequences, there are no chases in this game because the traffic is totally linear and on rails and it's ultimately unfinished. One of the senior developers 2 weeks after the game went gold still maintained in a podcast that all these features existed and were even 'deeper' than what had been talked about previous.. -
Mixed reviews so far with some saying it's decent enough and others a total dumpster fire. There doesn't appear to be any that says it's a worthy sequel and most fans of the original have been mostly critical. Disappointed but kinda expected really. I've watched quite a few snippets and it does seem painfully Hollywood with stuff we have seen a million times over the the last two decades plus the action doesn't have the same unique style or impact that the original had back in the day. The action genre is saturated to hell and special effects have been pushed to all limits so this was always gonna have a tough job of standing out and doing something spectacular but it all looks rather uninspired. Two and a half hours long also apparently and large parts of the film focus on nostalgia but a lot of people say it just shows the huge disparity in quality between them. I'm expecting there will probably be another two films and then a TV series in the next 5 years before the brand is totally destroyed. Nothing will beat the original as it was way ahead of its time and had so many truly unique elements and an intriguing story.

Most shareholders have probably never even been to the club they own to see a game. Also TV companies just want money and the best possible spectacle. It's also staggering how many teams have players out yet the governing bodies expect teams to play or be heavily penalised. I think the season will once again have to be suspended and sides that have been forced to play with barebones and lose will only suffer if they apply the stupid PPG thing they did last time. Teams can't continue playing or fielding their third string against clubs who haven't been hit as bad. Soon there will be nobody left to field as it spreads all over the pitch and with staff. I can't imagine how it is in the stands but I'm not returning until I have my booster and can better grasp what's going on. I don't know how this season can continue really.

BigFry's video the other day got me a bit worried - sounds like a lot of red tape surrounding this game. Not sure what's going on about the publisher situation but hopefully they have self-fund or pick someone up now that it's out and doing well.

Game has released today in early access and is currently sitting at Overwhelmingly Positive reviews. £31. Definitely might have a look at this as it's giving me SWAT 3/4 vibes and way more authentic than Rainbow Six.

Imagine getting put in your place by Randy Pitchfork of all people Tragic reality is 107,000 people signed up for this bullshit (I'm guessing 95% probably weren't even fans of the game) but at least it's over now and they can focus on recongised methods of extracting more money from their owner-base such as shitty cosmetics. Although it only lasted one day, this will definitely be damaging for them especially because of the nature of what they were offering and how it was implemented. A very inconsiderate and ignorant cash-grab attempt. Certainly has put me off playing it.
