I think snipers are being nerfed because the anti-quickscope army is waffling on about the ability to QS despite IW originally insinuating that it wasn't possible. Although in my opinion you can still scope pretty quickly in tight situations which are common in COD; I don't think the sniping aspect has been as generous as it has been in the likes of MW2 and in particular MW3. I personally don't use snipers but I am a bit miffed to see IW bowing down to the prolific moaners who don't have much of a case in this game. I assumed IW were satisfied with their mechanics on release but having to nerf the type when it is quite tricky to execute anyway is a bit of a surprise move. I don't think we'll ever have a community that can be happy in terms of sniping. I think IW in this instance should have just retained what they originally published and just let the community of whingers just get on with it. They can't win and nor can the community. I hate being killed by snipers particularly ones that don't play the objective even if they are on the other team but I appreciate the skill required to kill in what is a very pacey game in Ghosts and I'd rather be killed that way as opposed to a bad bullet detection or lag fused CCQ shoot-out.

Thanks for the info guys! I've picked up the Arma 2 collection with the DayZ mod and will leave the £20 alpha until a much later date. Even the producers are recommending people NOT to buy the standalone at present despite selling about 200k copies lol!

Apparently there is going to be a new game mode/playlist called Heavy Duty where players have increased health. I don't know if it is a playlist incorporating the existing modes or whether it's a new mode altogether acting as a moshpit. Can't see this being a winner really. You may die quick in Ghosts but you can kill easily too.

I want to get DayZ but dunno whether to get the existing mod or the pre-alpha version that needs a lot of work being in a early build? Also what Arma2 version do I need to run DayZ mod? Thanks!

In Battlefield 4; if you reload a clip with bullets remaining in it; you lose those bullets? If so; I will not be reloading as frequently as I usually do! Blame COD for that

Haha typical! I had a weird one tonight; I hit a tank with a SMAW and got 3 damage despite hitting it head on. I hit it again and got 27 hit points and then hit it once again and got 14. Then the bloody thing killed me! How the hell can I hit the damn thing head on and get 3 points!? Sometimes I get 30+ and not even hitting it head on -

I can't kill anyone for shit in a tank with the gun or the cannon. I can get killed in one hit across the map by other players no problem but when I'm in the crows nest; I'm firing away at them and they manage to run off like sissies. -

Just played on Altai Range and the game crashed half way through That map is bloody massive. Playing 12v12 will not work on there whatsoever!
