  1. $75m nearly and could exceed 100gb
  2. I think BO2 still gets over 300,000 on the 360 sometimes which is a terrific achievement especially considering Ghosts didn't even get that kind of figure on day one. I know quite a few people who have boxed their XB1's and got the 360 back out just to play it. I doubt very many, if any people still play Ghosts and for me it's one of the worst games I've ever purchased. Even at peak; Ghosts barely got 6-figures and it was below 25,000 most of the time on the XB1 with even more playing Battlefield 4! I bet even today; more people are playing BO2 than AW. I defo just stick with BO2 - I didn't like it at first but the DLC really made it a sublime package overall.
  3. Jezza at the Chelsea game last night
  4. I swear I had this on the Xbox 360 and the servers were abysmal. Pure pay-to-win too if I remember rightly
  5. Chelsea 2-2 PSG. Finally Chelsea play abysmal football and they don't progress for once - against 10 men for most of the game too! Jose's dreary game plan didn't work tonight.
  6. Agree. Sadly the BBC is in a damned if they do and damned if they don't situation. If they keep him despite being on a final written warning; the stereotypical British taxpayer who writes to Points of View every Sunday will throw their crumpets at the telly in fury and it'll go political to the House of Commons. If they sack him; the taxpayer will rejoice but the BBC will lose tens of millions and a fuckload of viewers whilst opening the door for ITV or Sky to snap him up and a possible rival show with even more funding from advertising rather than through the taxpayers' pockets. BBC are in a fucked up situation either way. I think the producer who was on the receiving end of the 'punch' may have no choice to bullshit the story so Clarkson keeps his job,the suspension is lifted and Top Gear still exists.
  7. New patch released http://uk.ign.com/articles/2015/03/10/dying-light-hard-mode-patch-now-available
  8. Real Madrid 3-4 Shalke.....but Real still go through 5-4 on aggregate! Simply astonishing game and glad I caught it in the end. Even though they progressed; the fans sounded incredibly pissed off
  9. Suspended by the BBC and Top Gear will not air on Sunday He's on a final warning so this could be the end of him and even the show - cannot see it working without him. He's a bit of a twat but a massive presence on TV http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2988412/Top-Gear-s-Jeremy-Clarkson-suspended-BBC-fracas-producer.html

    720p

Most Xbox One games run at 900p -it's a barely noticeable drop from maximum HD but 720p is going to look absolutely shocking! It'll be 2007 all over again..

    720p

I'm still on the fence with this game. It's £50 for the bog-standard edition on Origin but if it launches successfully; it may become a more attractive proposition. Shame EA don't do physical copies on PC anymore and we have to pay a high tax racket on digital downloads. I paid about £25 for BF4 on release! I still have lots to do on BF4 but Hardline seems to offer something a little different. I will wait for reviews I think and feedback on performance but I hope it banishes the badness from its predecessor and gets the series entirely back on track.

    720p

Battlefield Hardline will run at 720p on the Xbox One. Embarrassing. So much for the next gen eh
  13. Entertaining game tonight. I won my bet too Man Utd looked ropey as hell at the back and Arsenal were fairly comfortable throughout. Ref also played a blinder in what was a tough match to officiate.
  14. The best footage I've seen so far:
  15. Derby just cost me £348. That's two fucked up accumulators I've had this week I hope Derby stay down along with Norwich for that. Wankers
  16. If you are an account holder at GMG; you can get access to the VIP section which has a small sale including a pre-purchase of Batman Arkham Knight for just £25.54. Total War Attila is £21.89 on there too along with Dying Light for £29.19. Great deals on digital
  17. Cannot wait for the Championship to reach it's climax - it is incredibly tight up there and anyone could win the title! Cannot believe Norwich lost to Wigan at home the other day whilst on a strong run. With Derby faltering of late and others failing to maximise on other teams dropping points; there is still no clear runaway leaders and anyone can beat anybody. Nerves will certainly play a part as well as general fitness and player availability. If you can beat teams above or around you, it's a 3pt gain and you stop them from getting anything so there's so many '6 pointers' but also the bottom sides can prove a pain in the backside this time of the year. I think Wigan and Blackpool are goners but I'm sure they'll enjoy sabotaging other teams promotion hopes. Millwall look garbage so that should be an easy 3pts though Also Norwich are responsible for my accumulator going tits up on Wednesday so I hope they stay down just for that
  18. Talking of commercials; I missed a program the other week and had to watch it on ITV player and I had 3 minutes 30 seconds of adverts before it even started and then about 11 minutes of adverts on top throughout I watch a few US programmes and you can tell some have really horrible commercial breaks in between from the get-go all the way through. It's really noticable when the edited ones hit our TV's here because after a few minutes it says 'coming next' and then continues immediately whilst repeating what happened moments before because in the US; there would have been a break sandwiched in the middle.
  19. ^ Good shout Rich! Also very good to see Gomis was ok after collapsing last night - I was a bit horrified to hear what happened especially after the Muamba incident a few years ago at WHL.
  20. Not my usual cuppa tea but this song is brilliant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpMd8UDiCfA
  21. Oh jeez, sorry to hear that Phil
  22. Desperately trying to get back into Advanced Warfare after a 3 month absence so I played a few games last night and picked up the Havoc DLC today. I still stand by what I was thinking a while back; that AW isn't a bad game at all, but it just doesn't give me the pleasure to play or motivation to be dedicated like I used to with COD. The DLC as expected seems a mixed bag with two decent maps and a couple that are very poorly designed. Haven't tried the zombies yet but it'll give that a try later I think.
  23. Good man Rich I'd avoid AMD personally, especially seeing that 99% of developers can't optimise games for shit on that hardware! With a budget of just over a grand; you should be looking at an Intel i7 4790k 4.4ghz, Nvidia GTX 980, 16gb DDR3 RAM, Corsair H55 cooler, a big fat case and Windows fucking 7
  24. I think VR gaming could be successful but only if developers are willing to invest in the concept and deliver tailored games that fully support it. It's already been impressively implemented on PC with the likes of ETS2 and we have the new Valve VR kit with Source 2 on the way which will be groundbreaking for high-end gaming. It could be a very costly fad though especially on console - hitting mainstream will be an uphill struggle especially with a hefty price point and if there is no titles worth getting aside from tech demos for the generation after; it wont be viable in the slightest.
