  2. He has had a good season to be fair and way better than the likes of Rashford, Antony and Fernandes. Those 3 should be first out the door in January or next season. Antony is nothing more than a fidget spinner, Fernandes is good on paper but terrible during big matches and Rashford has faded spectacularly.
  3. Another Bethesda developer goes off on a 15 Tweet tirade against customers Starfield design director calls out unfair game criticism: 'Don't fool yourself into thinking you know why it is the way it is' | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Emil Pagliarulo says an awful lot of outspoken critics are "disconnected" from the realities of game development. Apparently as gamers aren't qualified developers, they have no grounds to complain. So basically people that go to restaurants and are sold cold, raw or poor quality meals aren't allowed to complain because they aren't qualified chefs🤣 Bethesda really need to take the hit and learn from it. The amount of damage control against credible criticisms of paying customers is insane along with the disrespectful remarks and approach. People are really gonna tire of them at this rate.
  4. Cheeky bastards thought we wouldn't notice
  5. Warcraft III - gonna try and rattle off the entire campaign for it's 20th anniversary
  6. The game has been taken down from sale now and the 'developers' have begun scrubbing from existence. 201,000 copies sold and almost 92,000 refunds issued prior to Fntastic's closure. Very bizarre situation - whilst I did expect them to pull the plug early, I didn't foresee if occurring before Valve released the money to them. This opens the doors for store-wide no questions asked refunds back to anyone who bought the game irrespective of the existing refund policy and the developers likely wont even see a penny of the almost $3m holding. For them to quit before the first pay packet suggests either Valve were holding them to guarantees for a conditional release of the funds or they didn't want to embroil themselves in legality down the line. The evidence against them is beyond overwhelming and damning. IGN have also just released their review for the final kick in the teeth- first time I've seen them award a 1/10🤣 The Day Before Early Access Review - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Easily one of the worst games of 2023.
  7. LMAO! The Day Before Studio Fntastic Announces Closure Just Days After Early Access Launch - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Mere days after The Day Before launched in early access, studio Fntastic has announced that it's closing: "The Day Before has failed financially, and we lack the funds to continue."
  8. This upset so many COD developers it was bloody hilarious🤣
  9. I'm seeing a lot of ''this game has soooo much potential'' lines from defenders yet there's less features and content than what was advertised in the pre-alpha 3 years ago. It's utterly extraordinary how deluded people are with things like this. It's not even like it's a game from a reputable developer - all their previous work has either been scams or abandoned. People just living off the nonsensical hype of the original fake trailer and other elements that were all plagiarised off legitimate games. Publishers laughing all the way to the bank.
  10. Looks like the entire game was also build out of the Unreal Asset store American City Packs (Bundle) in Environments - UE Marketplace WWW.UNREALENGINE.COM The project includes a lot of high quality assets with everything that you need to create an American City. The city/architecture is based on New York City - NYC - Manhattan - Brooklyn. The buildings are... That's just one of the packs used but there's plenty more from foliage, interiors, vehicles and other small details. It's the sort of game you could clamber together for about £1500.
  11. Only 13% positive now🤣
  12. Game is currently sitting at 21% positive on Steam and most of those are meme reviews. Watched 30 minutes of gameplay so far and it's just an extraction shooter in the most empty world imaginable. 2 zombies and one person killed in the stream I saw and a whole lotta looting nothing. They are also using misleading fake gunshots to add ambience. No vehicles, no melee and barely any features that were showcased 3 years ago. Bigfry described it as WarZ but worse which says it all.
  13. Off to a strong start😎
  14. Today is the day! After almost 3 years of lies, deceit, plagiarism, asset flips, fake gameplay, amateur mistakes and a multitude of embarrassments, the game is finally out in early access for £33.50/$40. I am not expecting much and will have to catch some gameplay later. A surprise choice to also launch in Unreal 5 instead of the far more stable UE4. Unless the game has some significant features out the gate then this could be a poor move right from the off that causes unnecessary strain on optimisation for nothing in return.
  15. They certainly can't be turning up in 2027 with the Creation Engine, 2D character interactions, visuals from 2012 and no facial animations again🤣 ES6 is probably still another 5+ years away - I get the impression from interviews that they announced it way too early and then let it take a backseat whilst they were halfway through Starfield development. After the reception this game got especially from a technical and outdated standpoint, they may go back to the drawing board because releasing another archaic and unambitious game later this decade will not sit well. Their reputation is beginning to wane and people ain't as forgiving.
  16. 60m views in 12 hours The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has smashed through 60 million YouTube views in 12 hours | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Y'all got any more of that once-in-a-lifetime reveal trailer?
  17. Looks like the Jason character has had a slight redesign. Didn't see too much of him in the trailer but I assume he'll be a playable character like Lucia.
  18. Real shame it wasn’t released as planned tomorrow but at least I don’t have to worry about finding a quiet 5 minutes at work! It would’ve been one hell of a global spectacle and many will go about their day tomorrow not knowing that’s it’s been out for 12+ hours already🤣 Trailer looks amazing and Rockstar never fail not to impress with their once in a generation games. Gutted it’s not 2024 and it could still be two years away but it will be worth the wait.
  19. Bethesda developers have been working overtime all week responding to negative reviews and telling people they were wrong and how they didn't play the game right. Some of the responses seem really unhinged and remarkably out of touch. Here's one infamous take:- Some of Starfield’s planets are meant to be empty by design - but that's not boring. “When the astronauts went to the moon, there was nothing there. They certainly weren't bored." The intention of Starfield's exploration is to evoke a feeling of smallness in players and make you feel overwhelmed. You can continue to explore and find worlds that do have resources you need or hidden outposts to look through. Comparing a real-life moon landing which was one of the biggest achievements in the history of humanity to their shitty procedurally-generated copy and pasted planets to justify their emptiness is one of the most insane things I have ever heard from a developer. It's just one of many really weird responses. Surely they would thank the players for their feedback, understand the critique and take on board what has been said for future titles but no, they have to tell the players that they should not be bored because the game is 'realistic'. It's also a damning insight into their design philosophy through development.
  20. The internet will break
  21. Did this even get out of 'beta'? Activision Just Killed Call of Duty’s DMZ Mode — and No-One's Surprised - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Activision has announced Call of Duty DMZ will no longer receive new content updates, sounding the death knell for the mode. Half arsed support and a lack of monetisation opportunities for Activision. Shame because they could've done so much more to it with a dedicated team working on this mode.
