  1. I'd rid Pogba, Martial and Lukaku in the summer. They aren't good enough despite their combined £200m tag and the never give 100% and never will for the badge. How any club would want someone like Pogba is beyond me. He's an average footballer with a bad attitude.
  2. Cheers guys! The ROG Swift either PG278QR or PC279Q seem to be the best ones on the market and I've also been looking at the Acer Predator XB271HU which is also deadly with G-sync, 165hz and also under £500 now. The Dell S271DG is also on my list as reasonably priced with a good response time but only a TN panel. Is VA really not that noticeably different from IPS then? If so then that could open the doors to a few beefy Samsung ones that are very well-priced. Trouble is these days is there isn't too many places around on the high street where you can make a comparison side by side on the spot.
  3. This thread kinda got buried and I'm still having a dilemma resulting in a nosebleed with this. Any help would be much appreciated.
  4. Sony will definitely deliver again in this department but I wont make the same mistake in buying into the new gen from the start and will probably wait 3 years before even considering a purchase. The PS4 didn't really get going until 2016 and the first couple of years were a real struggle. I'll probably pick up a PS5 Pro😎
  5. Good idea, let's ask Rich😎 Arsenal 2-3 Crystal Palace ROFL! MOTD2 is gonna be worth watching tonight.
  6. Everton currently 4-0 up against Man Utd! This will be 6 defeats in 8 for Ole sadly. 4 wins in a row for Everton I think which is some fine form especially beating Arsenal and Chelsea in that run plus West Spam.
  7. Transistor is FREE on the E*** G**** S****.
  8. I love this shit
  9. I remember the Xbox One when it was first launching - online only and no pre-owned games destroyed them before it even went on sale. Even a u-turn at the 11th hour wasn't enough to cover up their bad decisions and direction and they've paid for it ever since. There will be a monumental backlash if they make any future consoles solely digital-only as physical media is still essential to console gaming and will be for a long time going forward. Also gaming retailers which still probably make up about 60%+ of console sales will go under if they have no games to sell on top, so the reduction of supply chains flogging units and peripherals will be shot to pieces and could massively impact the likes of Microsoft, Sony and even Nintendo from the loss at the retail sector. New game sales will also suffer immensely because people ain't gonna be paying £49.99-$60 for each new game that they could've got for £44.99-$50 physical and could've traded in upon completion. It wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft do offer this as an alternative from the get-go for future consoles and they'll probably even have their own streaming system soon too. You can't beat traditional console gaming and hopefully that will forever remain.
  10. Man City v Spurs again on Saturday - probably be 0-0 this time😎
  11. This moment was insane
  12. Champions League has been a bit mental so far - City scored after 4 minutes so I went to make a cup of tea and when I came back a few minutes later it was 2-2😎
  13. Assassin's Creed Unity FREE on uPlay for a week. Login to your account and claim it through the homepage/store.
  14. What an appropriate name for this console😎
  15. Surprised they are going for 8k graphics when they could barely achieve native 1080p on the PS4 for many games. Seems like they are going for absolute overkill to get a foot ahead of the Xbox One X. It's great it will have backwards compatibility along with a disc drive but everything else sounds a bit much and that usually adds to the price. The Pro didn't utlise its extra power very well and we don't want another generation of games appearing visually under par running at a wobbly sub 30fps all the time. The biggest problem with the PS4 for me was the noise for me. That would have to be addressed significantly on the next console especially as it didn't really improve on the Pro or later built models. I'd be happy for the PS5 to simply have 4K, 60fps and games running at an ultra preset but that probably wont wash for marketing these days as it wouldn't be a significant step ahead of the XB1X especially to see out the entire next gen until 2025+.
  16. I currently run a 21:9 setup but want to get another standard 16:9 gaming monitor on the side to use with certain games. Whenever I go online shopping, I always end up getting a headache and overwhelmed trying to get the best and ideal purchase. I'll hand it over to you guys for advice but my basic requirements would be:- - 1440p preferable or 1080p - 144hz or better - 27 inches ideally - IPS Panel - 1ms response The Asus ROG Swift PG278QR is £475 on Amazon from £629 which is a great deal for a G-Sync monitor with 2K and 165hz but that's still quite a bit of money for a monitor although it's a stunning price for what you get. Any alternatives you recommend?
  17. Pep has seemingly taken over every big team whilst they were at their peak and had money to burn. It certainly would be interesting to see how he would fare with a team like Spurs, Athletico Madrid, Inter or Dortmund. He is definitely a good manager no doubt and is very encouraging with his players but he's largely been managing on recruit difficulty so far it seems!
  18. Looks like Joey Barton is up to his old tricks as he was apparently arrested for beating up the Barnsley manager in the tunnel after the game!
  19. Very good selection of games. Do you have Zelda: Ocarina of Time also? That would be a fantastic game as is Super Mario 64. Perfect Dark and Goldeneye would be my top two for starters.
  20. I don't have one sadly but lend me the money then I will😎
  21. One of my best mates is an Arsenal fan and I've been down the Emirates a few times and it was not only dead compared to the old lane that had nearly 50% less capacity, it's even quieter than Highbury despite having nearly twice as many people. The real football fans at Arsenal are too spread out and the stands are too far away from the pitch. The new Spurs stadium definitely must have used this as what not to do so they made the South Stand a single tier like the Kop and Dortmund and ensured the end stands are no more than 5 meters away from the pitch. The original plans to the new White Hart Lane were actually so similar to Arsenal, the only difference was the exterior but it's good to see them not only move to something different, but a unique ground that aims to capture the atmosphere and style of the old ones rather than a typical modern concrete bowl full of corporate cocks.
  22. This was the reveal calamity
