No KDR as a stat, just have score per minute. Good idea.
 
I love watching my KDR ratio as a personnel goal but it makes way to many people go crazy and care only about KD, camping and shit.

These are the times I don't .x)

I'm with Bees on this one. MW2 was the best CoD ever and Ghosts is right behind it.
-The scorestreak mechanic was great, but all it did was reward players who already played the objective. Black Ops 2 didn't have more or less killwhores or objective players than any other CoD, and neither does Ghosts. People play like they've always played. (Side note: in my experience Battlefield players aren't much better than trying to win than CoD players)
-Maps are much better and more varied than BO2.
-Connections are obviously much better.
-Create a class is improved. I didn't care for the Pick 10 system, but Ghosts nails it with the wealth of perks available. I can build my guy however I want without being penalized for attachments or more perks from the same tier.
-Create a soldier is a big improvement on the prestige system. You get to start from scratch and try new things without losing everything you worked so hard for. Plus you get lots of classes.
-Hardpoint sucked 6v6 and HQ was my least favorite mode, so it's fine by me that they're gone. Also I was on the fence whether 2 round Dom was an improvement so I don't care that they switched it back.

It's a very good movie, one of the better films I've seen in a while. I highly recommend it.

Yeah cyber, thanks I didn't know that! The auto aim auto attack is nice, no need to aim or anything, makes it easier to get going in games. So far I've been enjoying Warwick and Ziggs, Ziggs nukes like crazy and Warwick just lifesteals for days and won't die. Only against bots so far though haha.

Well...all my IRl friends play Lol, most of you guys also play it, I think it's time I gave this game a real try. I absolutely hate the click to move, prefer wasd keys for my mobas but I'm gunna give it an honest attempt.

So, I had a pretty awesome experience with the good ol' interweb this weekend, in spite of a pretty terrible reason, that I thought I might share.

Now, first thing I need to say that I really don't use internet for anything other than gaming, this forum and browsing YouTube and Facebook. I know some of you are members of other forums (gaming or otherwise) and have heard of some great experiences, but never really cared to use the internet in any other way than I currently due. So with that said, here goes.

On Saturday morning my wife's grandfather passed away. He was 91, had dementia and was in poor health due to being 91 and having dementia, so his passing was no real surprise, and is looked upon as a good thing in our family, as the last few months have been hard on him. He's also a WWII Marine Vet. And as some of you know I'm also a Marine Vet, so while shoveling my driveway Saturday afternoon I thought I would pay my respects the only way I knew I could, and that was by wearing my Dress Blue uniform to his funeral. The only problem is that I don't own one anymore.

So, I needed some and I needed some fast. Getting a full set of dress blues sized correctly with all medals and ribbons mounted in 3 days is about as easy as your wife getting ready to go out to dinner in 3 minutes. I did some google searching for some local military surplus stores, but nobody had what I needed. Feeling pretty bad, I tried one more search...And found a full set, brand new, with all the works (blues have tons of buttons, belt and accessories) on eBay. But their shipping policy wouldn't get it here on time. So I messaged the poster...

And he's where the story gets good. He messaged me right back with his phone number and I gave him a call. I explained the situation to him. He told me he would take it off ebay and ship it overnight from California that night and I could just pay him through paypal. I was kinda nervous about that, but he had a positive rating of 99.5% with over 400 items sold, and is a former Marine himself, so I took my chances and went for it. We exchanged a few texts and I checked the fedex tracking number this morning and the package will show up this afternoon.

Well, I also need my ribbons and medals mounted, which is still no easy task in a short timeframe. Well, as it turns out, the guy who sold me the dress blues, knows another former Marine in Arizona who does just that. He passed along this other guys contact info, and a couple of calls later I’ve got a full set of medals and ribbons on the way.

So in short, I was able to get something done that seemed impossible. A full set of dress blues while being nowhere remotely close to anyplace that sells it, from 2 guys who I never met, but who were both former Marines who did everything they possibly could to help out a fellow devil dog. All so I could wear a uniform for 3 hours.

Sounds like good news that they have indeed been working on this for a while

So far I enjoy it a lot...the main thing that concerns me is the whole hybrid class thing, I like a more traditional MMO where there are tanks, healers and dps...not everyone being a jack of all trades. But I think I'll grow on it lol.
 
Character creation is pretty danm sweet, step up from Skyrim so that's good. The tutorial area looks like shit, but it's supposed to haha, after that the game gets pretty good, amazing graphics. Quests are fun, everything is voiced (no more reading boring paragraphs from quest givers if you don't want to) and so far I enjoy the combat (melee more so than magic). Combat in other MMOs felt to mathematic, standing still and less like I was actually fighting something and more like I was adding up damage calculations to get the best dps/healing. ESo is more immersive combat and I like that.
 
The only other MMO's I have actually put a lot of time into are Runes of magic and Tera, so I don't really have much to compare to, but ESO beats the heck out of them so far
 
Ohh yeah the loading screens are long as fuck, not sure if that's because its still beta or not, but it sucks.

I think it's sad that people feel the need to pick on someone else just because they don't agree or understand what they person likes. I myself don't get the fascination teen boys have with the my little pony thing these days, but hell it's better that they like that than something that is not good for them so it's not my place to tell them what to like. I'm sure teen boys wouldn't like some of the stuff I am into so who has the right to stand in judgment of another? Didn't strokes for different folks is my opinion.
 
On the flip side though...I just don't get the whole "I got bullied so I'm gonna kill myself" mentality either, why is that the big thing these days? When I was in school if someone bullied you then you simply meet them out in the back of the school yard after school and settled it then and there. Why is it that a kids first thought these days is I got bullied so I'll show him, I'll kill myself. I don't understand that.

I think I'm missing something....dumb people will always drink and get them selves/others killed or injured. If they don't play a drinking game they drink another way and still fuck up.
