Thought Brighton played amazing again on the weekend. United look to be really struggling now.

Richy was well deserving of the Fans MotM. Spurs were unlucky not to get a penalty or two as well, played really well. Had Chelsea down to draw on the Predictions - not surprised they're still struggling. Sterling was unlucky not to score the free kick though.

Also looking forward to starting a new Ultimate Team, might put a bit more effort into it this year. And with the Ultimate Edition I'll be applicable to try the Nike UT Career, not sure what that will be, but should be fun.

Decided to purchase the Ultimate Edition as I'm hoping to get a PS5 for my birthday in November. Looking forward to starting a new career mode too, might look to record it for fun.

The players they've brought in aren't bad, the issue is probably more the fact that the team is completely made up of new signings and no one knows each other. Rather than re-building slowly they've just said 'fuck it' and brought an entirely new team.

And I agree having a good backbone in the squad is a good idea and will help when bringing in new players to help them adapt to the squad. However we have that, in good players like Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, John Stones.

The Netherlands and Belgium are prime examples of what's happening to teams that can't part with 'key' players that obviously need replacing.

I get that, and you're probably right... However, I don't think they provide enough to justify being picked, again. We need better talent in the squad and build around them instead of using these players just because they almost worked before.

Desperately trying to get rid of Sánchez, Dier and Tanganga with no replacements in line is also a recipe for disaster.

I don't want to it to be just fine, I want to win. We need a winning mentally within the squad. Get them out. Even if they do do well for England, they don't deserve to be there. It's not fair on the world class players that are missing out.

Terrible decision. Southgate needs to pick the players in good form. Maguire and Henderson both deserve to be dropped. Get the players in that do it week on week, and get them into the national team ecosystem.

We've needed to get rid of Sánchez for 2 seasons now and he's still at the club. Trying not to be too angry about the penalty miss but he's the reason we conceded the first goal too. Just not good enough. Where has this Kane money gone? And why haven't we prioritised getting a quality ST and backup CB? I believe Ange can do something with this team already, we just need to make sure he gets the deadwood out before that starts getting back into the changing room environment.

Good read. I will however disagree with the statement 'it is not the governments job to pay for you in times of crisis' when they were the ones responsible for closing down businesses and making it so you couldn't work. However with that being said, I do agree having a fail safe in place for situations like that is a good idea. I personally have a general savings account (one I can dip into if needed), a help-to-buy ISA (only allowed £200 pcm), and a CBS ISA (which I can't easily withdraw from). All of which help me save money in different ways. One of the things I like most about monzo is you can create 'pools' with names of things you want to save towards. I tend to make these pools if I have something small, like a game or event I want to save up for.
