It crashed for me, too then I realized I still had mods on my client. I'd try clearing out your mod folder @Plumbers Crack. After I cleared the mods folder it booted right up. 

Update for Day 3 A21 FG. Crisp and I started a little base on a roof as one does. I found a cooking pot so that's working. Just built the dew collector for fresh water so that's helpful and our first forge is up and running. I miss this guys! Dig Dig Dig.

might want to reinstall the game, make sure you are on 21. If it's EAC it usually tells you which task/service it's having a problem with. Not sure about this one.

Well, I downloaded it but can't get past the loading page. Got some lines in yellow, some lines in red and I had to use Task Manager to quit. I think I'll wait a while

I don’t even get that far Phil. I can’t get past the initial loading page where the top half of the screen shows what’s loading. I just end up with a blinking cursor. I’ll give it another try when I have an hour or two spare 👍

I just saw this is only 3.29 on cdkeys so I may well buy this later 😄

When you play the game, you get the option to run the game or the launcher. Try doing the launcher first and see if any of the settings there need to be amended.
Other than that, maybe verify the integrity of your files you naughty boy.

Do you run it on the steam deck or will I need to install it on my laptop do you think?

Like you, I started playing 7 Days on PS4 and there's no way now you could get me playing it with a controller after using kb&m...but that's just my preference!
