    Watched a few videos on this new MMORPG being developed. Seems pretty legit and could be a massive time suck 🙂. I personally like the "low fantasy" style vs some more of the crazy ones out there. I love idea of player made gear and stores etc. Lots of really neat things I'm seeing here. The most impressive for me is that PLAYERS will build everything including towns and all buildings. This gets my juices flowing and I'm really a digital architect as many know. Thoughts?

    It was fun for a few years, and I even got platinum on D2, thanks to FG. My problem is all the content, like raids, are only fun if you can actually contribute. To contribute, you must play a lot to reach the proper level or obtain the meta a.k.a. the unbalanced bullshit weapon of the week/season. I can't be asked to grind the same old shit day in and day out as it really is FOMO. If you don't keep up, you miss it, and I don't need that kind of extra stress in my life. I'm really happy that I've grown to know many of FG from D2 but that nostalgia trap is just that, a trap. I'd rather just chill and build cool shit in Valheim or 7 days. Hell, I've even recently started the Minecraft FG academy thing where I can build to my heart's content.

    I've always thought about writing over the years, imagined that I would be interesting enough, or have some creative ideas. I'm not sure that I've reached that level of interesting yet but I've come close enough. Now I'm not on the writing level of Paul Bowles, Allen Ginsberg, Ernest Hemingway, or Jim Harrison but I feel like my first official foray into writing wasn't terrible...maybe I simply need more drugs and alcohol like the aforementioned folks.     I've actually met him and Travis as SEMA years ago, dude was a legend. Really genuine guy too. I've watched all is stuff, great driver.

    Is it survival, sure, is it annoying survival? Not at all. Also, since it's an existing server, you can choose to essentially start where we left off for gear and what not or choose to start from beginning. It's so chill and the building mechanics are top notch.

    @GazzaGarratt not sure we need to nuke the server as there is a great deal of history and fun things for new folks to explore. We did not do that much exploring in the mistlands prior to this apart from a few outposts so I think it's ok to keep it. Nothing is broken. I'm open to hear what other think too obviously.
