    Hi Folks, so as part of our taster session you will need a character. You have two choices. 1. Use the character creation tool online HERE that has hundreds of pre-made characters or 2. Go to HERE and download a character sheet, open it with Adobe Reader and follow this GUIDE to create your character The choice is truly yours depending on how much time you have to spare. Please bear in mind, with CoC the chances of your character dying or going insane are very high - so if you choose to create a character, don't model it after yourself.....it hurts the ego!     Well, in hindsight I should have bought one 14 weeks ago because i've been spending 8+ hours a day at my dining table and these are not comfortable chairs. I have a habit of breaking chairs because of my weight and this particular chair i've been sitting in has certainly taking a beating. They aren't designed for this type of use I don't think lol. Hopefully the secret lab ones come back in stock soon as I need to set up an office space moving forward for work, gaming and TTRPG

    This is probably the most sensible advice but I'm lost when it comes to chairs.....any advice?

    I knew you'd like this! For me, Cthulhu is a really easy game to start people off with in terms of playing a character and a DM. Unlike D&D the 'home-brew' stories for Cthulhu are so much easier to put together as it's not super combat heavy at all (and it doesn't have a million books with stats etc to complicate it all). However, there in lies the downfall of it as it's easy for it to be a bit too story driven and not action driven. I've not run a game in years so will be interesting to see what happens.

    @slamminbones @GazzaGarratt Ok what I will do is make your characters for you so that if you can come they are ready to go but if you can't commit to the full session I can play your characters as NPC's instead! Just make sure you get a dice rolling app! I will find one and link it here

    Hi folks, ive decided to set up a small desk/office space in my house as I’m currently set up at the kitchen table and it’s getting old fast. Can anyone recommend a decent chair for a heavier man? I’ve been looking at the Secretlab Omega series chairs as they do a cool batman one! However, I have no real experience of them: Omega Chair Any advice is welcome!

    I’m not going to lie to you folks, that’s a huge weight off my mind. I’m glad Stacey was able to put us all on the straight an narrow and give us some perspective. I mean the constant repression of the civil liberties of several races in the world being oppressed is definitely not more important than a disease with a 99.7% recovery rate...... Also, backs matter!

    mom just using the 5th edition book as it’s the one I’ve played the whole time, the book isn’t all that important to be honest, that’s what is great about Cthulhu - it’s very loose!

    I can’t believe I thought they were the same person! In my bones I believed that.....and I’ve been wrong all this time! I know you play TTRPG’s already so you will be a great person to have playing with us!
