Isn't this one of the most welcomed maps of the CoD era? This is a great move surely.

I imagine they would have the original code with spawns so I can't see why they won't be the same or at least extremely similar.

Looks like Raid will be back for Season One

This is apparently an image taken from the Cold War game files. I believe the car in BO2 was gold/yellow so it would appear legit.

This is very true, those numbers are huge for sure. And your right, the people who spend money will want to buy it when the content is fresh and readily available. Any money lost by Activision is a blow, as we are far aware of their penultimate greed. Still think EA and the FIFA Dream Teams are the greediest of the lot. I guess it's  business as ever, and no growth is seen as a failure. I think due to current Covid times , it's a lot to ask of some people to spend.
Altho the YouTubers have a disposable income and it's content and views, they will always spend to fuel the hogs at Activision. Troughs at the ready, those fat cats gotta eat!

Activision also recently released their figures and there were apparently 200,000,000 paying customers in the past year of Call of Duty on all platforms and Warzone has seen up to 30m players a day at times which is huge numbers. Let's say season one launches at 10m prospective players are playing Cyberpunk - Activision could miss out on $50m in just one weekend on an average spend because players are elsewhere. Usually the launch week is the big one for new content and if users have their heads buried in Cyberpunk, getting them back on board may not be hard but spending will be.  They want them in the game and spending day one.  The big question will be is one week enough...

    This ^^
I don't believe Activision are giving a gracious bow to allow Cyberpunk the limelight, but it's all about population and numbers playing during the big crossover warzone integration. They want as many online as possible. And due to the clash it's a wise move. However I believe that Coldwar needs as much time as it can get to iron out bugs and fix aspects of the game. A delay is most welcomed.

The hugely ambitious merge of 4 different consoles + PC over 2 different games is a highly gutsy and bold attempt. Say what you want, but it's moon landing unpresidented territory stuff.

I believe microtransactions are 50/50. People will spend, others won't. Personally I will not find the gluttony of this hungry beast. Although I will get my money's worth out of what I spent on the game.

However saying that, the leaks of season 1 are hugely exciting for me.

Raid the map from BO2 is coming, 2 new weapons. Possibly the Mac-11 from BO1, The "Graza" Bullpup Assault rifle, I'm hoping it will be like the Tar-21 from MW2.
New operators. New game mode, which involves launching a nuke and starting with only pistols and a briefcase secret agent style.
Also a snowy version of Nuketown.
    4 new maps, 2 6v6 and 2 2v2 gunfight maps.
I'm really looking forward to this content, it will make the time playing the game more enjoyable.
And hopefully a lot more bug fixes etc.

Activision wouldn't want season one to launch when a huge chunk of users are playing Cyberpunk. It would be a huge hole in their player counts and their pockets with microtransactions. I had absolutely no intention of playing Cold War on season one launch day or even over that weekend and I think a lot of users are planning the same. Had Cyberpunk not been delayed, they would have had a clear run but that moving to the 10th really upset the apple cart and bringing season one forward would've caused a lot of problems for players even with the content finished. A delay was the only way really.

Rings are a good idea, also other things like UGG boots or a nice bag.
    Some expensive perfume.

Outside of these stuff, I've also noticed a few more things:

Galaxy/Wave Projector - @jordie1892  reminded me of this the other night when playing FIFA. With my lad being autistic I think he'd like the movement of the lights in his room when playing or watching a film at night. I think they look fantastic for all ages really Grumpy Cat Calendar - more just for @crispymorgan  if i'm honest 😄

I find it that way as well, I mean we will get more content as time goes on. But the fundamental core gameplay is there. The gun fights are more engaging, is rewarding when you manage to outmanuvere multiple enemies in quick succession. The game is very competitive tho, but it isn't always a bad thing. Feels like your aim has to be spot on as well or you will get punished. Gone are the days of mass claymores/windows/doors the "725" M4. Also I'm not missing Picadilly or Azhir Cave tbh.

It's not bad at all, certainly an upgrade from the last one (MW) for me. Faster pace, more interesting guns, cool perks back. The only downside is the lack of maps but at least there is less to learn and remember at the start.

Yeah it's pretty disgusting imo. The bracket of people that they are trying to protect ends up getting washed with these sharks out for high kill gameplays, nukes etc.

Still tho, not that I'm defending these YouTubers. But that is their living and income. You fuck with that, then they will find a way to exploit it. If SBMM wasn't as harsh as it is then they wouldn't have to resort to such slimy tactics.

People of all Skill levels grumble about SBMM. It makes the game too competitive for the average and above average player. All the pro players can't maintain a 2kd, what does that tell you?
Nobody wants to sweat everygame, it's just not fun.
The average player is way more skilled these days. The bar is set higher than ever before.
Because how well MW did, Activision will continue to keep it jacked up.
There isn't much inventive to improve. You will get punished by what feels like playing Vs Scump and his mates if you have a run of good games.

Gone are the days when you could hold your own in a lobby, but have to compete Vs 1 absolute beast on the enemy team. Eventually over time you could almost improve enough to compete. But you died plenty and learnt a lot over time. Thus making you a more well rounded player.

Good to hear man! It is a reasonably good game, a bit more content and a few improvements and it could be up there. Still feel it missed a bit of polish, but given the circumstances the game was built upon I think they did a great job personally.

Well to be totally honest, it's a decent game and fun to play. But having a small selection of maps on launch makes it feel like you get some of them too often in rotation.

The guns take ages to level up xp to unlock challenges and to get gold. A lot of guns go up to level 55. It seems to take forever past level 30.

The Sbmm is extremely thick imo and sometimes it feels like you are punished for having a few good games in a row.

Overall I'm enjoying it for the most part. Feels like an older cod like BO1/2. They will add more maps, apparently Nuketown coming next week.
Guns will level up, just takes time.
As more content gets added I'm sure it will get better.

Definitely a bit buggy at times, but they already released a patch 1 week in to iron out some of these.

I think the game will be smoother over time. If your used to MW, the feel of Cold War is very different. Not sure if you played the Alpha or Beta?

Fov slider on console is pretty sweet. No claymores or masses of doors or windows. Maps are smaller, more options to run and gun etc.
Primary gunfighter wildcard allows a 7 attachment gun which is interesting. Perk greed allows 2 of each perk, so 6 in total.

Lots of potential and options the game has to offer. Depends on what kind of experience your after. Does have that old school arcade shooter cod feel.

Not gonna lie tho, some matches are very sweaty. You would swear there was money on the line and CDL Champ Finals were getting played.

That's a lot of content, like said I would welcome some of the remakes just to bulk out the selection. But I agree with you, less firing range/jungle/summit etc. Some of the other maps would slot in nicely.

There was some great maps on BO1, BO2 had some good maps too. Still haven't heard anyone hate Standoff.
MW2 maps are classic. Yeah I was on Xbox back then too haha!

I'm not entirely sure, we have folk who play the game. Don't think many have grouped up yet. I heard the party chat is a bit iffy. I'm on PS4 and can play some. But depending on timezones etc. I've recently had a baby and working so my gaming time is very uncertain. I will hop on for an hour or 2 if I get the chance.

Well like I was saying assault pack gives more score. A 50p ekia assist turns into 75p. A full kill 100p elimination is 125p.

Also the confirmed tags are more than the denied tags.
And Ekia is a mixture of 50p or 100p elimination kills.
Small things like running UAV/cuav churn extra score. And usage of equipment like field mic/jammer earn 15 score if an ally kills an enemy with that in use.
I believe it's a combo of all the things I've mentioned between my 2 posts.

A few things spring to mind. Obviously longer streak multipliers.
If they shoot streaks down, UAVs are 100, attack heli/chopper etc 300 score. Also ammo pack gives more score per kill and ally ekia.

Also if you picked up a lot of blue tags denied they are worth less.
Probably a combination of all these.

It's amazing how many people are doing this, particularly YouTubers. Reverse Boosting is when you have a side account with tanked stats (below 0.50 k/d) in which you join session with your main on a formed lobby and then back-out with your side account. You are basically in a exceptionally weak lobby with your main account being the end result.

It's so blatant and the quality of the content produced is absolutely embarrassing - even recruit bot matches are more of a challenge and livelier. Here is the most infamous example which is absolutely cringeworthy to watch especially when the dude tries to be overly dramatic:-

COD YouTuber ExclusiveAce put out a funny video after trying this tactic and this was the end result:-

This is borderline cheating really. These players are incredibly bad at the game and this could be down to age, general ability or even a disability and the last thing they need is some sweaty cancer content creator to obliterate the lobby and shame them in the process. Considering how strict SBMM is in COD now, it's farcical that such a simple and effective loophole exists. Activision however get paid off twice for this to happen so I wouldn't expect it to be plugged at all.

If you're ever watching a video and you see a 3 k/d player posting a score of 100-0 you know exactly what they've done to get it.
