  2. Anonymous rolls out in order to take on ISIS
  3. LOLZ love that one. my wife gets mad at me when I watch it Dave, check this one:
  4. This should be from book 2 The whole thread is here, and is worth reading. https://www.reddit.com/r/witcher/comments/38cu5o/yen_triss/
  5. The books really put a different spin on the games. Not covered by the games: Triss uses magic to make Geralt think they had a relationship, thereby cheating on Yen. She does it because she hates Yennifer, as does most of the witches council. Lodge One other witch does the same thing, but she does it to slowly warp Geralt into thinking he was with Yennifer at some points. It was really twisted, and it basically comes down to that Yennifer was the only one to NOT manipulate Geralt and Ciri for her own gain with magic. She, Yen, also pseudo adopts Ciri which added aother level and I don't know for sure if that is in the W3 game. This was big in the books. Hell its the plot point of one of them. Oh yea, Geralt also hooks up with Snow White in the books.
  6. Yen all the way! Well, that is if you have read the books. Regardless, I am shocked to hear you say that you never really use alchemy. Every Quest with supernatural enemies, I am using Oils. Every combat with heavy armor mobs, or spears/ polearms, I am chugging potions for Stamina and Magic. Spam fire or force push, while they are staggered, charge in with heavy attacks, back off as they recover, Chug potions, rinse repeat..... The Banshee at the one water well early in the game, you have to use an oil, or you can't beat her.
  7. My wife's druid character is going to hate you for it LOL "Oi! Thats a nice grove you got there lady Druid. It'd be a shame if something fell from the sky and nuked it!"
  8. Go rent it first!
  9. Do not play this game like you would play Skyrim. Geralt: In the Witcher series, of which I tell everyone to pick them all up, you need to use EVERY ability you have. Take the time to sort out alchemy, it will help you in every quest. Literally every quest. I said every quest right? because it helps that often...... Do NOT rush through the game, you will miss out on a ton of really quick and easy side quests that give gobs of XP. The game will assume you did them when you get to a new area, and NPC's will be of a much higher level than you. (Seriously, some quests are as simple as fixing a broken altar. Just move this stone block and BAM done, 2000 XP) Loot the shit out of the battlefield near the starting town, wander up and down it a few times, take all the crap to the dwarf, and salvage it. When underwater, you can only use the crossbow. Oh yea, and Alchemy is your friend..... Ciri: You don't have to be as patient with Ciri as you do with Geralt. Her portions of the game are there to provide backstory and update you (Geralt), about what is happening in the Novels. You can run through quests as her, and it will be fine. (Or at least I never noticed a penalty.) Also are you on PC or PS4?
  10. Now that is a spell I haven't thought about in a long time.
  11. I don't know if you guys have access to any of these, but there are a ton of them online and able to be streamed for free They are insane, and absolutely retarded, but so much fun Example: http://i.imgur.com/UDdx7MG.gifv Check out that action clip. Its pretty typical Or maybe a tractor fight is more your thing:
  12. I really enjoyed the game, and put it on my list of games I want to eventually get. (I rented it from Redbox) The driving was good. The combat took a little to get used to, but if you have played Batman or Shadow of Mordor, then you can jump into this really easily. The questing was to the point, and the open world aspect of it made sense. Each little fort was different enough to make taking it tricky, but not different enough that it detracted from the game. Whomever worked as the lead designer for the game should honestly make more games.
  13. Just finished this section. It is very easy to skip the main area of this quarry, as the quest for it is over really fast. I won't spoil anything, but do NOT stop until you reach the very bottom, you will get a series of visions along the way, and it will be obvious after the last vision that it is over. Also, LOADS of named and legendary creatures to fight and get armor from
  14. I grabbed them during a sale a while back, and never got around to them. Once I started reading the first book, I was hooked. I have no idea how long they are, but I know during my first sitting my kindle said I hit around 35% of the book. I honestly couldn't stop reading them.
  15. The French police are raiding homes and mosques. Numerous arrests have been made, and they even found a rocket launcher! http://news.sky.com/story/1588358/rocket-launcher-found-in-french-police-raids
  16. Just finished reading the Broken Empire series by Mark Lawrence http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0072NWJ3Y/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?ie=UTF8&btkr=1 (That is book 2) Really solid alternate history/ future book. The protagonist isn't so much an Anti-Hero as a straight up villain. I highly recommend the series to anyone wanting a decent fantasy series.
  17. Miners Hat! //swiped from Reddit!
  18. Pinned this to the top for folks
  19. they are $60-$65 regular price, but with Black Friday coming up, I should be able to get a decent deal.
  20. Yea, if it is the sensor then I need to send it to Sony, at least according to my research. I found a program for PC that allows you to use any controller on PC, which is fine, but one of the things it does that isn't really mentioned anywhere, is it allows you to test deadspots. I have about a .5-1 cm deadspot on my left analog. Oh well, going to keep chugging along on Fallout 4 and the PS3 for now.

  23. Caps are easy to come buy, so purchase delivery orders from Merchants. They provide 25 of Item XXX for typically between 1000 and 2000 caps. The Brotherhood has the more high tech items, such as Fiber Optics, up on the Prydwen. (Once you unlock it)
