  2. You guys do realize you can breed them right LOL So here is how you can make a leather farm without crashing the server Keep 4 cows at all times. They can pop out crotch fruit every 5 minutes. Babies take about 20 to become adults. So just stay near your farm, feed them every 5 minutes, and then after an hour or so, kill everything except for 4 of them. I am not worried about server lag from a cattle farm that is gone in a few hours, or even a full day. Its the constant lag that it creates over time if we all have one. Alternative Leather farm: Get diamonds, obsidian, glass, dusts (all 3), a few chests make an Energy collector, and energy condensor. done, never want for any material ever again
  3. Oh hell yea I would never just do that without several days notice. Its one of the reasons I haven't done it yet.
  4. Okay, so you are defining content as Raids, Trials, PoE, and stuff like that. That makes sense Its also like a third to a half of the game, but I don't see anyone comparing those yet. I see folks focusing on weapons and classes
  5. So is that a yes? I had the same issue for Plumber and Sheasley, but I can see most others. The fix is for me to delete the player.dat file, which resets the server profile for everyone. IF you have inventory on your character when I do it, you will lose it. It also jacks permissions. Thats why I really don't want to do this, and keep looking for a fix. I thought/ hoped it was just hitting me
  6. you mean the actual player avatars when they are near you? If so, then this is a bug, one that I am loathe to fix as what it requires me to do on the server side is a HUGE pain in the ass. I was really hoping I was the only one experiencing this.
  7. Okay, thats cool and all, but what is "content"? Is it the story/ grimoire? Is it the guns/ weapons? The Classes? The ships, sparrows, shaders, or emblems? Back to the sports team analogy, are we not able to compare the shoes they wear? The balls they use? the jersey or logo scheme? I'm not picking on your here, I just flat out disagree, and wanted to try to understand your point of view a little better
  8. This isn't 100% accurate (Its about 95%) A husk can also be a villager that has been turned into a zombie. There are several varieties of this sort of infection scenario. I think we have 3 on the server because of the MCA mod. You have to pay attention to the zombie skin, if it looks like any other zombie but with different colors you are safe to kill it. If it looks like a really nasty looking, angry villager, then don't kill it, as you can cure it. You need a splash potion of weakness, and a golden apple. You hit the infected with a splash potion, and then trade it a golden apple, and it will be cured. I will warn you though, you don't get anything for curing them. They just say thank you and walk away. So you can kill them, but the village guards might take offense to it. What I do here is if I am in a village I cure them, if I am just outside a village and no guards are near, I kill them
  9. I didn't know you all had logged in yet. I can do it when I get home tonight. You shouldn't be missing any permissions of the ability to do things, let me know if you are. I can handle that much faster than a group migration

  11. Its actually a totally valid comparison. Its not like these games were developed by different studios. All of the lessons that Bungie learned in D1 are still valid in D2. This is exactly like sports, if you have a winning lineup of players, and the coaching staff comes in during the off season and fires them all, and drafts new players. Then we as fans have a right to do comparisons and be concerned. The coaching staff knows what worked previously, and what the fans want to see, now whether or not they choose to go in a different direction is up for debate by us the fans. But this is totally a far, apples to apples comparison.

  13. My suggestion would be to doe it just north of the Nether Portal at spawn. The sand will be easy to remove or flatten. When planning this, think about as few branches as possible. Also think about how to decorate the tunnel. No one wants to sit in a boring as hell tunnel for 20 minutes. Making a tunnel slightly larger allows for decorations and other features to be added. Of course a lot of that can be done afterwards, but it is something to keep in mind Also, don't worry about linking to me

  16. LOLZ no That was on the last server. Starting off, a 4x2 is fine, you will want it bigger though It needs to accomodate 2 rails, 1 in each direction, Torches, and other stuff

    There used to be a mod that allowed you to burn zombie flesh in a furnace, and it would turn into leather. I need to see if that is available for 1.10. Since thats all the mod did, it had incredibly low overhead and could be added easily And yea, Beetroot is great for pigs.

Yea, the interview was just the other day, and I think it was published yesterday Still though, this could either be really amazing, or fucking horrible I have always stated I wanted BF style weapon attachments (Perks) in this game, so I could customize a weapon platform how I wanted. If this does that, then it will be perfect

What do we think this means: I think there are opportunities to explore the other things in that space, but for us right now, the tuning path is pretty different this time. The weapons are all hand built in a way where, before, they had random talents– We can look at an entire archetype like hand cannons. And then we can look at data on usage rates for hand cannons, and sort usage rates, and then within usage rates, check [kill death ratios] per hand cannon and find out what is actually effective and what’s not.
