I took a few other pics tonight if you guys want to see them this time with a 10mm lens. I think I need to get my eyes checked, the wife and Boy said they could see Orange and brown bands, all I see is black and white I need to get more lens's though, this size lens is horrible for taking pictures, but great for the eye. You can see the orbit path in these, the white "reflection" coming off the top, is actually the movement of it. I snapped 8 pics really fast of it, and they steadily move along that path. These pics are shit, I am working on getting a proper camera for this stuff, but still super excited.

We all have those random moments in the game where you do something that just feels impossible. Last night I had one and I wanted to share. I was on Paracel Storm, Conquest, running from A flag to B flag, about even with the Radar tower when a chopper came over head. I was on my Engi with an SRAW equipped because I had forgotten to swap to my IGLA when the map started. I whip this thing out, realize I had the wrong thing equipped but then decided to take the shot anyway. Missile 1 - Miss Missile 2 - Miss He see's me now, and is coming in for a strafing run I run like hell, hide in some bushes, and just as he flies by I launch again. Missile 3 - Hit, double kill! I just sat there in awe of what I had just done. I honestly didn't expect to get that as the SRAW is hard to guide against aircraft. I totally didn't notice that one of the guys had bailed and landed near me. I managed to whip out my ACW-R in time and kill him, but was now standing on the beach, as an Enemy patrol boat went by. I died, but it felt good. //Cool Story Bro!

Awesome For me, Footlocker is real hit or miss on how good it will be. I have been completely dominated in about 50% of my games on that map. To the point where I can't even get out of the default spawn location. Its just horrible. Other times I end up sitting in one spot for most of the game, mowing enemies down the entire time. It is by far one of the best balanced maps I have seen in any FPS game.

Yea, Conquest Locker is like a longer TDM match than an actual conquest map. Support or medic is total WIN for that setup. Just spam your packs and stay out of the firing lines.

Worst Map IMO: Flood Zone or whatever its called Best is most likely zavod, Golmud railway, or Paracel Storm In China Rising DLC, I would say silk Road is loads of fun as well

My father in law bought this thing for my son, its about 6ft tall, and HUGE as shit. I literally just put it together yesterday. This was our first time using it, and that was the first object we were able to see. I wish the pic had come out better, I will try a different lens tonight, if the clouds are willing to help me. We are also trying for Andromeda as it should be visible right now to us. The whole ting is surreal to me though. Jupiter is roughly 5 AU away from us right now, and we could actually see the largest cloud bands on the surface of it. Granted because of the distance it was Black and White, but you could see them plain as day. Venus will appear blue to us, so I can't wait for that. but I dont really have a favorite right now, just way to new for this.

The easy path is usually mined with Claymores, C-4, or AT's and Slams. (Or some pussy ass recon is on a rooftop watching you) Avoid the LOS of all rooftops Underground, swimming, and tunnels are king for moving around. (Unless its Footlocker, in which case go outside, its nice, and lonely there) If only one path can be taken to a capture point, then its a stupid path to take. Turn off your accessories when you are flanking Open all doors when you are capturing Close all doors when you are camping The bursting radius of a hand grenade is always one foot greater than your jumping range If you are in an Aircraft, then clear the goddamned rooftops of the pussy assed recons camping up there. (If all you do is hunt recons all game, and keep the roof's clear, you will be helping your team more than any other player) If you play a pussy assed recon, then you need to drop spawn points, work the objectives and help your team by being mobile and stealthy. Your K/D means dick, stop trying to "pad" it, Play the Objective, take the death if you have to, but win the map.

Just took this in my back yard with an Orion ST-8 Intelliscope and a samsung galaxy phone

So I started building my own world today. This is as far as I have gotten so far: (source: http://i.imgur.com/Z9pTtfu.jpg Craig Shoji http://pensketch.com/ ) The world is going to end up at just over 3k x 3k blocks square. In the north half of the map, I will be making a mountain range for farming materials, the main island section will only be about 80 blocks high at its highest point at creation. The main roads, bridges, and walkways will be left out of what I am painting. I will be doing the terrain only. The small sections you see actually completed took me about 2 hours to do. (8 blocks, each block is 128x128) I am debating on leaving out some of the canals as well, this much water on a map could cause issues. There will also be no caverns, caves, or chasms in the Island area. However ore generation and what not will be as normal. If you all want, I will post more pics as I get this completed

My son and I played with it a few times on PC. I never grabbed it for PS3/4 though. I had a green arrow style character, a Mr Freeze, and then my son made a superman. It was odd Mr Freeze clones start with an AK47......

Not really, I just absolutely despise having my crap blown up or ripped apart by Creepers and Endermen. I hadn't realized that Gregtech had been removed completely. I don't mind expensive recipes but that one just seemed insane when it was on hard mode which most servers ran. not really looking for anything specific, I just wanted to sit down and accurately learn FTB more. Typically I never get to play FTB, I always end up an Admin.

Is Mob Griefing on? IE Creeper explosions and endermen? I will have to look at the Direwolf pack, I don't remember enjoying it, but that could have just been gregtech. Is it the one that Mittlemeier was running?

Mike, have you tried out the new Tech World pack? Its really solid. I am looking for a server that runs it now, I have fallen off with FTB, and am trying to get back into it more, so I can relearn it.

Horizons was terribly unstable for the first few days. I honesly haven't touched either much, just a few moments. I have been playing Stellarcraft and A New World mod packs quite a bit though

Have you tried Horizons? I was unable to get it to load.
